    Dirty Chicken Salad no peppers

Great atmosphere and great salad and drinks. I had a Dirty Chicken Salad without peppers. It was really good.

Really nice brew pub with good selection of beer on tap. Very convivial place for a meet up, good indoor and outdoor seating, service excellent. We are traveling from Portland and viewed the online menu which included a 100% grass fed burger sourced Locally from 6Ranch, Corriente beef, Enterprise, OR. Corriente beed is flavorful, lean, and nutritious. However, the current pub menu changed to grain finished beef lower in omega-3's. After a hard and fun day mountain biking we really wanted the grass fed burger. Instead, we had a veggie burger and a salad with no vinegar and oil option. The dressing provided (we asked for it on the side) was a little sweet. We did not use it to avoid a glucose spike. good times with good friends at lunch.

Avery is awesome, the food is spectacular, and the beer is so delicious, we took some with!!!

Nice Oregon Fog - Hazy IPA paired well with the corn chowder. Delicious food warmed my soul on a cold rainy day. The service is spectacular and super fast with no wait. The ambiance is a must see with it being an old fire station complete with an attached museum. Must stop in La Grande, Oregon.

Day, one of 2 Day road trip with dogs We decided to stop for some lunch but it had to be dog friendly. We read about Side A brewing and it seems to fit the bill. I was a little confused when I first walked up to the front door because I didn't see a patio.. The patio is around the back. The patio has all these little planters around, which really make it not seem like an alley. It's pretty and very relaxing Our waitress came by, so we had dogs to get the water. She took her order and asked if she could also bring the dogs a little treat The dogs were thrilled and so was I. We didn't want to order a big meal because we still had many hours left in our drive We ordered the truffle fries and Korean pork tacos. They were so good. I would absolutely order these again. Flavorful, satisfying without making it feel stuffed There are other items on the menu that looked equally tasty. Try them- you'll like them

    Veggie Burger with Dirty Fries

Stopped here on our first night of vacation and were blown away by how amazing the drinks, service, and food were! I had the Experience IPA and Hubby got the Side Road Cider. The IPA was the perfect west coast style - it was piney, hoppy, crisp, and light. The cider was off-dry to semi-sweet and delicious with good depth of flavor and didn't taste just like fermented apple juice. We both got the Veggie Burger for dinner. He got the dirty fries and I got the truffle fries. The veggie burger is fantastic! You can taste all the different veggies coming together and giving such a layered tasting experience from the corn to the peppers to the black beans to the chickpeas (I'm guessing). The aioli and toppings were top notch. We loved this place so much we specifically routed our drive back home to stop by again. Our waitresses both times were super attentive and friendly. The way they honor the old firehouse building and history and build on that aesthetic is really cool. The second time around, I had the kale Caesar which was even so, so good! Wish we lived closer, because we'd be regulars for sure!

After being seated the waitress took our order and then disappeared for over an hour. We never saw our food or waitress again so after an hour of no contact we just left. If you're going to refuse service do the courtesy of telling your customers you've decided not to serve them. I've never had to walk out of a restaurant because of complete neglect before. The ambiance of the place was alright, clearly locals like the place and perhaps that's why we were refused service, they didn't know us. We drove out of our way to go here based on the reviews, don't make the same mistake

    Beer and Tacos- Delicious!!!

Found this gem while driving through La Grande. So glad I stopped. The service was very friendly and fast. Beer was delicious, I had the Stock Show IPA and The Fifth Horsemann Black Lager. The Korean Pork Tacos are killer. Well worth the drive off the interstate! Cheers Side A!

Empty tables and we still don't have our food.

After sitting down, we realized there was no QR code so we had to go back and wait. The beer was underwhelming, the IPA in particular was disappointing. After ordering, we were told the food would take about 40 minutes, but it ended up taking an hour and 20 minutes. When it was finally ready, we had to go pick it up ourselves and carry it back across the creek. Given the lack of service, it's unclear why a tip is expected. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it, both the burger and BLT were mediocre, and everything arrived cold. Overall, takes a long time and there are much better options in town.

Wife loved classic bison with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo on a fresh ciabatta bun. I loved the spicy Jack bison topped with charred, jalapeño, relish, Diablo sauce, pepper, jack, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. Big side salad with several choices of dressings. Great ambience and service with cold tasty craft brews and delicious grub!
