Good to very good. I stopped and had lunch here on 12/31/22. I ordered the cheeseburger with fries. The burger was delicious and was "home" cooked. Big and juicy and yet I ordered the small one. Service was friendly and attentive. I will return. Note: I saw one of their pizzas and it rivals the best I've ever seen. Didn't eat it, but it sure looked great. read more

Wow! What the heck? So delicious. It was a very unexpected and fortuitous stop for us. Faces the railroad track in Caliente, Nevada. Very fresh salads, New York style pizza with the most amazing crisp outside and chewy inside texture. Real, stringy cheese and many topping choices. They gave me frozen cinnamon French toast purchased from the grocery store. They took it out of the freezer microwaved it for three minutes and it came out hard like a rock. I couldn't even cut it with my knife. It was ridiculous. It wasn't fresh. It was store-bought frozen French toast I could've done that at home For not $26 how lazy do you have to be not to make your French toast from scratch the restaurant wasn't even busy. This restaurant was a nice surprise in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere -?which, by the way, is not a bad thing. The interior has a throwback feel and is maintained nicely. My wife got the softail burger and said it was delicious. She also liked the generous portion of sweet potato fries. I had the knucklehead with cheddar and it was very good. One of the co-owners is also the chef and we spoke for a few minutes. She and the bartender are really nice. This is definitely a gem in small town America. read more

Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, my crew and I came here for dinner when we arrived that night from California, then we left to Idaho then after the wedding we set up we drove back and made a second stop there and same experience! Stopped here on our way home to las vegas after going to some state parks in the area. Excellent service and yummy well-priced food. We had burgers, Buffalo wings and a chicken wrap. What a true gem hidden out in the middle of nowhere. On my trips across Utah on my scooter I was nearby at a state park on my way to Area 51 extraterrestrial Highway. Coming through Caliente I was starving. And I made the right choice. service was outstanding restaurant was totally clean and well decorated. Must Stop should be the name. Friends of ours came out to see the train museum and said they walked over here. When they heard we were driving through on our way to Great Basin they told us to stop. So glad we did. Excellent food and great service. I have to add an A+ for the menu choices. One of us enjoyed a salad and veggie bowl. Chicken wrap, Philly and burgers for the carnivores.
