My husband's go-to pizza place. Although he always gets a Sausage & Mushroom (he adds Canadian Bacon) I decided to try the Gyro pizza. I've been working my way through Cedar City's gyro offerings this year. This is #4 I've tried. He reported that his pizza was perfect and tasted exactly as expected (& anticipated). My Gyro pizza naturally tasted just like a gyro should. It comes with all the standard gyro ingredients: spiced gyro meat, red onion on a pizza crust coated with red sauce and light mozzarella. The pizza-y sauce and mozzarella stayed in the background and let the greek side takeover. The feta cheese, tzatziki sauce and fresh tomatoes are added on top after baking. I asked for no tomatoes (don't like them fresh/uncooked). After 2 pieces I had my fill of the gyro pizza. I was losing track of the individual gyro flavors by that time. (I think I had the same flavor overload while trying the Greek pizza). Hope it will reheat well tomorrow but there might be a culinary reason they wait to put the tzatziki sauce & feta on after baking. The pizza crust here is as good as a pita to carry the greek gyro fixings to my mouth. Always have encountered friendly staff here and Kenedy P at the counter was efficient in taking our order. Love the little outdoor patio since we usually bring our dog. Wow they are ready to cook a lot of pizzas with all the firewood that's stacked up there! Yum yum. Can't wait but I'll either go back to my prior "usual " of a Margheroni or try another of their tasty offerings. read more

We came here over Centro because they have a vegan cheese option. We ordered the chicken sesame salad and a margherita pizza to split, and the quoted 20 min wait was more like 10. It was good. Not exceptional, not mind blowing, but an ok choice, and reasonably priced, except for one thing, described below. -I don't like tipping right up front. The only "service" was them bringing the food to our table and ringing us up. That's it. We bussed our own disposable dishes (that's right, paper plates and plastic forks for a sit down restaurant). *It's irritating to have an allergy tax on food. For the margherita pizza, we asked to have the fresh moz replaced with the vegan cheese. Fresh moz is more expensive than vegan cheese, but they charged us an additional $2. Ugh. read more

I stopped in on my way to St. George as this was one of two pizza places I was recommended. I ordered the meat lovers and enjoyed it. There is something a little different with (I think) the cheese as it has a very unique flavor to it. It is not bad, but I think most pizza enthusiasts will be able to tell that it is nontraditional. The total was about $40 for two people - which included bread sticks (they were ok), two pizzas, and two drinks. The place did feel welcoming and the cashier was pleasant. We stopped by here Monday night and they were packed. Seating was full and lots of people getting gelato. Wait was 1 hour but we had an errand to run so we ordered take out. We got the Pepperjack, Gyro and Meat Lovers. They were ready in an hour like they said. The Pepperjack was my favorite. Chicken, bacon, ranch pizza amped up with jalapeños, garlic and a siracha drizzle. It was so good. It has some kick, so if you are not big on spicy just get the chicken bacon ranch. The Gyro was our second place pizza. Lots of gyro meat and feta with tomatoes, onion and tatziki. I was impressed with amount of feta. Most places skimp on feta cheese but Pizza Cart was generous and that was appreciated. The kids loved this pizza. The meat lovers was good, but just not as unique as the others. The tomato sauce was nice and had sausage and pepperoni. But seemed basic compared to the other 2. Again good but not over the top like the other 2. Inside looked nice, but was too busy for sit down. You order first then find an open seat. At the front they also have gelato. Saw many people trying and ordering. Looked good. Definitely recommend the pizza. read more

Came here for a pizza on our way thru town. Fast, but good service. Came here at 1pm on a Wednesday. Although the restaurant was complete full, we only waited about 15ish minutes for our pizzas. We sat outside in one of the two cute, tiny little tables because we had our dogs with us. So glad they had a couple outdoor spots that weren't taken. We ordered two pizzas. The Hawaiian on regular crust and the Margueroni on the GF crust as I have a pretty's ever allergy. I was a little hesitant to eat here in the first place, because of some of the other reviews saying that it's not safe for celiacs. I had a great experience. Not sure if they've updated how they take care of their gluten-free pizzas for allergies... But they placed mine on a sheet of aluminum foil before they placed it in the oven and they used a different (and super clean) pizza cutter for my pizza! This is the most that I could ask for when not dining at my own house. My husband and I would both give the pizzas a 4/5. Keep in mind- I am SO jaded because I've had GF pizza allll over Italy. It was good- but also want to note, it was kind of like eating pizza on a bread-base, vs. it being like doughy pizza dough (if that makes any sense). We also tried the gelato. I tried 3 flavors, and we both settled on the salted caramel- which was exceptional. I would definitely come back, when passing through town. We were tourists to the small town of Cedar Falls, and wanted pizza after a day of skiing at Brian Head. We checked out some reviews and decided to try out The Pizza Cart. I didn't really expect it to live up to the hype, but still we agreed to wait the 50 mins for pizza. So glad that we did! It was literally the perfect meal that we were looking for. We ordered the Margheroni and the Meat Lovers pizzas. The Meat Lovers was good, but the Margheroni (combination Margherita and Pepperoni) was fantastic! Seating is grab what you can, but was easier than it sounded. Service was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the ambiance was perfect with a homey, Christmas vibe! We went to this strip mall pizza place on the advice from a friend. Great pizza! It's cooked in a wood fired pizza oven so there's a reason for all of the firewood stacked around the place. It's a thin crust crispy and chewy dough. Blackened just enough on the bottom. Very nice service staff and really reasonably priced. We split a pepperoni pizza, side salad and a drink for around $18. No beer or wine license so you'll have to look somewhere else for alcohol. The ambience what you'd expect from a typical strip mall restaurant. Staying in Cedar City for work and I love exploring the food options here in town. The Pizza Cart was an excellent choice tonight as I enjoyed a Pepperoni Pizza with added garlic. I sat at the "bar" next to the pizza oven and watched the young team work like a well oiled machine. Great attitudes and tremendous efficiency made getting my food decently quick, especially relative to how busy it was. Having a couple taped up menus on the wall worked ok, but I would have preferred a larger menu printed up above. Trying to look at the small menu, shuffle through the line, and not hold anyone up on your first visit wasn't a perfect start to my visit. Another minor disappointment was ordering ranch. Sacrilege or not, surely the tiny container of ranch is quite cheap, and yet they needed to charge $0.50 for them. Fine fine, prices everywhere else were great, but because it wasn't on the menu, and therefore I wouldn't have expected to pay for it. The other problem with this scenario was that since I waited to get my pizza to ask for ranch, I then needed to leave my table and stand in the line to order ranch. I overheard at least one other table send someone up to the counter to ask for ranch but be told "sure, but it is $0.50 and then sadly shuffle back to their table. However, after waiting in line again while my pizza sat at my table, I paid for my ranch and was very surprised. The ranch itself was actually really good. It was unique and black peppery which I totally loved, and reminded me of the Raisin Canes sauce, but the ranch version. Thumbs up ! (Minus needing to wait in line again to pay for it) After enjoying my pizza, and it was really a great wood fired pizza, I grabbed a small "kids flat top" scoop of gelato. The salted caramel I tried wasn't my favorite, I tend to like a saltier, sharper flavor, but the dark chocolate was exactly what I needed. My only complaint was that it was quite messy. I wasn't watching closely, but I suspect that when the scrape the sides of the scoop to make the "flat top", they end up with a lot of ice cream on the edges and sides. A kid eating from this bowl would have absolutely made a huge mess! I managed to stay mostly clean, but it was a weird issue, so I thought I note it here. Overall it was a great experience, kind staff all around, and truly great food. Wouldn't mind taking some coworkers out here sometime in the future. read more

I had the vegan, gluten-free with super fresh veggies, it was very tasty and healthy. My husband had the Greek on a regular crust and said he liked it even better than our favorite pizza joint in Phoenix. The Greek was also thickly loaded with feta, cucumber and olives. Cucumber on a pizza sounds odd but it was perfect with nice crunchy cucumbers. Their creativity with their types of pizzas was also awesome (we had a Gyro pizza, how cool!!). The pizza took about 20 minutes to come out but considering it was made fresh we would happily wait again. All the staff was very kind and the restaurant itself is super cute and fun! Found this place on our way driving to Zion and it didn't disappoint. However, the wait for the actual pizza is pretty long - 45 minutes. The pizza crust is airy and fluffy. I'm not a crust person but I loved it. The pizzas don't have a lot of toppings in general. Sausage mushroom - not many sausage or mushroom on the pizza. The mushroom is also cut up into small pieces. Veggie lovers - I've never had cucumbers on a pizza so that was new. I'm not sure it worked but everything else was good. Chicken Bacon Ranch - loved the flavor combination.
