After receiving notification that our late afternoon flight leaving Vegas was delayed by an hour,…read moremy wife and I decided that the best use of our time would be to find a lounge. We have been to many lounges, but have never been to the Centurion Lounge in the Harry Reid Airport. Following being checked-in by a friendly employee, we made our way through the fairly large lounge. This lounge has a plethora of seating - whether you're traveling solo or as a group - they have you covered! After circling the lounge twice, we were able to secure a table for two that was being vacated. Once we were settled, we made our way through the buffet which included a salad bar and hot food section. There was also an area with a variety of juices and coffee for those that need a late afternoon boost. Once I curated a perfectly hearty meal - carbs, protein, veggies - I headed to the bar for an adult beverage. A friendly bartender greeted me and promptly started pouring the Sauvignon Blanc that I requested. One thing to note is that you can only retrieve a drink for yourself - I ordered a glass of wine for my wife, but she had to physically come to the bar to obtain it. I'm not sure if this is a rule enforced by the lounge or if it was that particular bartender's policy. The food was surprisingly well-seasoned and cooked. Also, the Sauvignon Blanc that I enjoyed two glasses of, was deliciously refreshing - especially considering that it was a blistering hot day. Since I needed to get some work done, I was very appreciative of the strong and steady Wi-Fi connection. If you're looking to kick your feet up and enjoy a meal before a flight, I highly recommend this particular Centurion Lounge.

Located in Concourse D, this is one of my favorite AMEX lounges, just above the SFO location. I have yet to visit the Atlanta lounge, but it looks incredible. The layout here is slightly open, but cozy with multiple nooks to relax or get some work done between flights. The bar is connected to the dining room so you'll get easy access to the bar and the TVs. The food/buffet area is near the bar, and it also offers a small dining space right next to some large windows looking out to the runway. One of two lounge bathrooms is also near this area. This lounge also offers a separate child room equipped with TVs and kids toys. If needed they have office supplies, printers, paper, etc. Access is free with your AMEX Platinum card and (1) extra guests will cost you $50. The staff here is always very accommodating and quick to clear your food items. Before you arrive make sure to check if there's a waitlist. If there is a wait, add yourself while making your way to the lounge so there's little to no wait to enter.

Unfortunately, reservations aren't easily changed without contacting customer support, so I kept my original booking. Check-in was quick, and the staff was friendly. They pointed me toward the restrooms, but as a first-time visitor I found the layout a little confusing, and there wasn't much signage directing you to them. The lounge itself was very busy, but it was still a nice escape from the crowded terminal. The food was probably the biggest letdown. There was a small salad bar, a couple of hot items, and a few snacks that looked like they'd been sitting out for a while. The bar looked nice and wasn't crowded, although I didn't have a drink, and I didn't notice any drink menus or specials displayed. The restrooms were clean enough but felt like a standard airport restroom and were out of toilet seat covers. If you've never experienced an airport lounge before, this is a nice place to relax, recharge, and get away from the crowds. That said, I don't think it's worth the $60 price tag based on what's offered. Since my credit card gives me access to a lounge in the D Gates that I personally think is much better, I probably wouldn't pay to visit The Club LAS again. I'd recommend it for first-time lounge visitors looking for a quieter place to wait, but if you're paying out of pocket, I think there are better values available.

Checking in was easy. Show your boarding pass and physical credit card. Once in the lounge, we were greeted by the friendly staff. What I love about this lounge is how empty it is. We were the only ones here plus maybe 3 other people. A few more people trickled in after 30 minutes of being here but still lots of space and empty tables. Food is constantly replenished. During my visit, they had panzanella salad, crostini, pita and hummus, pancetta Mac and cheese, BBQ mushroom burnt ends, sausage and peppers, braised short rib tacos, charcuterie, cheesecake, banana chocolate chip bread, lemon poppy seed cake, vegan gluten-free cookie, French butter and croissant. They have sodas and iced tea on tap. They have coffee and hot tea. The food is warm and quite good. I ate 3 of the short rib tacos. The soda is extra carbonated and I kept getting foam. The space is quite big and it's clean and orderly. The staff does a great job clearing tables and wiping them down. The music is at a good level. The bathroom is private all-gender. Spacious and clean. I like that they have lotion in there because flying gets your skin dry.

My fiance was traveling with me and they explained that it would be a $45 charge for him, which we already anticipated as the app had those details. This was my first airport lounge trip since obtaining my credit card and I was so impressed! When checking in, the staff was very friendly and took the time to give me a tour of the facility since it was my first time. The bar is fully stocked and most alcoholic drinks are complimentary, aside from some top shelf choices. I had the French 75 and my fiance had Long Island iced teas. The food choices were somewhat limited, but offered vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Everything we sample was so flavorful, which I didn't expect. I assumed it would be basic buffet food. Far from it! The key highlights were the strawberry salad, sausage and peppers, and the cheesecake. As we had a red-eye flight, we also grabbed some to-go food, including Caesar salad, turkey pretzel sandwiches and peach rings. They also have a relaxation room you can book as well as workspaces, which I will absolutely take advantage of when I'm traveling for work. This place is such a welcome reprieve from the airport, I don't think I can ever go back to traveling "normally", I'm spoiled now!

I'm seriously impressed, not only by the upscale and very clean seating and food area, but by the grab & go options near the check-in desk and the food/drink options themselves. I particularly appreciated the small plates section that offered a variety of dishes with my favorite the birria taco. It's also great that they post if it's gluten free and a description of the dish. The bar is also very nice and the bartenders were super attentive and friendly. I'd say my other 2 favorites were the nice cold air conditioning and the private bathroom stalls that really added to the relaxation of the lounge and an added comfort for weary travelers. I will 100% be visiting again and am thankful that I was able to spend a few hours here while waiting for my flight.

Both my parents are from New England and I've been dying to go back over the last several years (my last visit up there was in back 2017). I'm really, really hoping that I will finally break that visiting drought next summer. Not a whole lot of bar and restaurant choices in terminal 1 before you go though security, especially on a Sunday night. Everyone leaves Vegas and most places close early on Sunday's. We got there close to 7:30, but the bartender told us that she would be closing up at around 8:00, but we were welcome to take our drinks with us after they closed. Drinks must be in a plastic cup if you would like to take it with you, however. I got myself a Mai Tai and my mom got herself a Riesling white wine. The Mai Tai had that paradise-like fruity vodka flavor to it and the texture was like a beautiful sunset over the beach. My mom considered having a couple of Riesling drinks but only ended up having one because it was getting close to closing time. I think this was my first time having a Mai Tai and it was not bad for a first timer. Hanging out at an airport bar will definitely be a new thing for me whenever I'm waiting for a friend or family member to come in.

At the door they check your ID and then have you sanitize before signing into the system. They have very large cubbies for storing your luggage. They give away decks of cards from a couple of casinos. They have a computer area where you can access the internet. A charging area, several tables where you can sit, rest and have a snack. They have a lounge area which has many loungers and a dimly lit room where you can nap. The snack bar is quite extensive and while I was there one of the restaurants donated several pizzas, chicken wings and salad. I set up my computer, got some work done. Had a couple of wings and salad, chatted with other veterans. It turned out to be a great afternoon and I felt safe and secure. I must discuss the volunteers because they were absolutely amazing. Checking on their guests to make sure they had everything they need. Several guests sat at the snack bar because the ladies there were great! Thank you so much to everyone at this USO! If I could give a 10 star review I would!
