This would be my first time visiting The Centurion Lounge in Las Vegas's Harry Reid International Airport. I've been to another Centurion in another city. This Lounge is located in Terminal 3 Concourse D opposite of Gate D1. Very simple interior with beautiful window views for those who want to do airplane sighting. Amenities include Beer & Wine with bartenders that can create unique cocktails crafted for you, hot coffee and tea, other nonalcoholic beverages, hot food items, complimentary WiFi, dessert bar, live television with sports/news, comfortable lounge chairs that can seat parties from 2-6 pax, and shower suite facilities. Time spent in Las Vegas Airport was less than 2 hours long before the flight back to Honolulu. If you are in transit between flights, do know that hours of operation is 5am-11pm. Although Vegas Airport runs 24/7, if connecting between flights are past these hours, you may be stuck in the terminal. I'd say this is a great spot to enjoy a nice meal and beverage in a quiet space before heading to your flight. read more

I haven't been to a Centurion Lounge in other airports, but this was a solid first time experience. Smaller than Delta Sky Clubs, the Centurion Lounge has similar amenities: buffet, desserts, hot and cold drinks, a bar, a shower, private meeting rooms, WiFi, and a comfy variety of furniture. The staff are SUPER friendly and looking out for everyone's safety and comfort. I've seen staff constantly circulating and making sure that people's bags are not obstructing walkways. Food is standard buffet fare, but delicious. There's only one shower, but it's huge and has a wonderful rainfall showerhead and heated towel racks. read more

I am happy when I have a layover in Las Vegas when traveling by plane. The Centurion Lounge here is wonderful! The food is terrific starting with a substantial continental breakfast at 5:00am and a full hot breakfast at 5:30am. I have been here after 11:00am for a full hot lunch such as Parmesan chicken or broccoli beef and many side dishes that are tasty. The service is professional, proficient and personable starting with Edgar at the bar with a menu of complimentary imbibments. There are three full coffee/ espresso machines. Pastries and juices are plentiful. This lounge is comfortable and spacious with two multi stall restrooms for men and women. read more

I really really dislike this lounge so much. My husband and I have been coming to this lounge for years before Capital One and Sidecar arrived. Now we just avoid this lounge like the plague. It's literally our least favorite lounge. If you want to wait in line, deal with all the chaos, eat pretty garbage food, then you come here. There is no exclusiveness here. You pay for your ridiculous yearly annual just to be given subpar lounge and food. Like you might as well buy your own food and hang out at the gate. Years and years we waited for improvement but obviously Jo Schmo runs this place and can't take heavily criticism from card paying members. Just close this place down at this point because this place cannot compete with Capital One, Chase Sapphire, United Polaris, or even their own Sidecar concept which is a big 180 change than to this for the amount of money you pay. Food needs to be updated. I've come here breakfast, lunch, and dinner many times and it's the same crap they serve you. No offense- I'm like done with buffets and thier fake egg scrambles or frittata. Like just copy what Capital One is doing. They clearly got the picture. More quality, less quantity especially when you pay the ridiculous annual. Like a small plate of egg Benedict or bagel lox is fine. Fresh ingredients... not the same damn thing every year. At one point, they even stop making their famous cookies which was the icing on the cake for us! Like how dare they!! Service is always great here. Hence why you keep 2 stars. It's the only thing that matters. The staff are ways nice and keep this place clean. Ambiance is okay. It just gets so crowded and has lost its luster as high end and being exclusive..and classy. Now you just have families hanging around with their screaming babies. I think they change this rule though. Fortunately we never had to wait in lines here. Terminal 1, Gate D-1 The Centurion Lounge is significantly larger than the Amex Sidecar lounge right nearby, but don't let that fool you into thinking you'll walk right in. Even with all that space, we waited about 15 minutes to get through the door, which says something about how popular this place has gotten. Once inside, the ambience is fine. Pleasant enough, but nothing that's going to wow you. It does the job. One thing worth noting: they have several private rooms, which is great if you have a meeting or just want a quiet conversation away from the main floor. But bigger doesn't necessarily mean better. The menu feels a little tired at this point, like it hasn't been refreshed in a while. That said, a couple of things genuinely stood out: the carrots were surprisingly good, and the milk and cookies panna cotta was a real highlight. Creative, well executed, and worth saving room for. The one area that could use the most improvement is the staff. Friendlier service would go a long way toward making this feel like the premium experience the card is supposed to deliver. My two hours in transit at Terminal 1 at the Harry Reid International airport was the shortest span of time I have spent in Las Vegas. The American Express Centurion Lounge on Concourse D was just the right place to relax and rejuvenate. Hats off to the team here especially Tibari and Felipe who handled the crazy Christmas Eve Eve travel rush with ease and grace. The happy bartenders took care of the 6 deep line with class and smiles. The lounge is small and simple and open daily for 18 hours starting at 5 am. The check in was super fast and efficient. The lunch buffet spread ( starting at 11:30 am) was healthy and tasty - numerous salads, ginger shots, good shrimp dish, excellent squash soup, grilled chicken, assorted cheese platter and the fav- a beautiful dessert section with hot n gooey cookies and soft ice cream. There is only one shower suite but the wait was maybe 15 minutes. Yes typical excellent Amex Lounge but with that Sin City exclusive - the slot and poker machines are 20 feet from the entrance. read more

I usually get to the Las Vegas airport a few hours early so I can relax in the lounge, grab a drink and a bite to eat before catching my flight. The Centurion lounge is a good one if you catch it at the right time. Sometimes you can catch it and it's extremely busy and other times, finding a seat isn't a problem. I happened to arrive around 12:30p and grabbing a seat wasn't an issue. I did wait a while for them to change out the breakfast food to lunch because I feel like the options and quality of food are a little better during lunch time. The lounge is always clean and there is always someone around the food station either cleaning or there to answer questions. You can also get complimentary drinks at the bar or pay extra for a few drinks if you'd like. Overall, the Centurion lounge is a good place to wait for your flight if you are a platinum Amex card member. Also, from my experience, don't become discouraged from the line outside. Anyhow, my waitlist experience at Amex lounge has usually cleared within 20 min or so. There are lots of seats/tables in my opinion. This is still the best lounge at Harry Reid airport, and it's very popular. There is often a waitlist to enter, but it's easy to join the waitlist through the app. You will get a text when it's your turn. We have never had to wait more than 10 minutes or so. It's a beautiful space inside with many different seating options. WiFi is fast and of course there is an open bar. The buffet offers a variety of dishes throughout the day often highlighting local chefs which is a nice touch. There is a separate chilled case of desserts. On our most recent visit we found they added a self service coke and Diet Coke fountain as well as cold brew (nitro and still) on tap. The staff are always friendly and gracious and quickly clear away plates and glasses. Definitely get yourself a platinum card and visit this lounge! read more

I wanted to check out this lounge and see how it compares to other lounges. It was not as busy considering it is Las Vegas. There are a few coffee machines, one bar and buffet style eatery. It was easy to find a seat, but getting service was a bit harder. It is much larger than the Sidecar lounge located around the corner. My first visit here was en route to Honolulu. I've walked by many times and hoped my day would come. It did! It was busy and I ended up sitting at the bar. Food choices included the typical breakfast fare, buffet style. As for the drinks at the bar, "limited" bar items are available until 10:30 am. That likely means don't order anything complicated. I guess no mai tais or margs! I enjoyed my light breakfast and mimosa, which the bartenders do offer upon welcoming you. However, I also enjoy a specialty cocktail before a long flight! AWARENESS: With a few hours to kill before my flight back home, I decided to visit the Centurion Lounge to kill some time, grab something to eat and, live stream some football. NARRATIVE: Let me start by saying, I was flying out of terminal A and this lounge is located in the satellite terminal of D, about a 15 minute walk and tram ride away. When I first arrived at the lounge and attempted to get on the waitlist for entry, I was told I had to wait about 45 minutes because, unlike most lounges who grant access up to 3 hours at anytime, the Centurion Lounge will only allow access to its lounges within 3 hours of your scheduled departure. With this news, I walk a few doors down and visited the Priority Lounge to wait out the time. When I was within my 3 hour window, I used the American Express app to add myself to the waiting list and I walked back to the Centurion Lounge. When I arrived, my reservation was checked and accepted and I headed inside to grab a seat. Even though this lounge is huge with lots of seating, It was CROWDED. It took about 5 minutes to finally land a seat where I felt comfortable enough to leave my bag, grab some food and check the place out. The food options are vast. Hot items of eggs, potatoes, sausage (chicken & turkey) and oatmeal filled the buffet and, as the times emptied, staff was quick to bring out more and fresher items. The bar area isn't that big but, the bartenders (about 3) were on the ball spinning out spirts, juices and sodas. They also had plenty of food and drink items for carry out, although I didn't see any bags for the carry. SCENE: The Centurion Lounge is located in Terminal D at the Las Vegas Airport. If you're flying out from Terminals A through C, you're going to have a decent walk along with a tram ride to get there. RECOMMENDATION(S): If I have time to kill, and I mean at least 3 hours, I would revisit. read more

Back to five stars today! My last visit was subpar, but today the meal was excellent. I really enjoyed the harissa chicken and the brown sugar fig panna cotta. I'm glad they were able to refine the recipe after pulling out of the collaboration with Kim Canteenwala from Honey Salt. It's also nice to see the dessert area back again! Clear Booth was handling the marketing today and even handed out an essential oil roller, which was a fun touch. Don't know why I even bother going to lounges anymore. I got into zero for 5 lounges over the course of my travels the last couple of weeks. I visited the lounge as a guest, which is a $50 fee. Upon entering there's lots of seating but some tables/chairs were marked as reserved. We had to walk and make a round or two to find an open table since it was pretty busy. We came around dinner time and the food offerings were chicken and an assortment of veggies. I thought the chicken was dry. They also have many dessert options which I thought were all fantastic! I also saw they had an ice cream but was too full to grab any. This is a very popular lounge which means there is a long wait. We got on the waitlist and went to the slot machines while we waited. Once we were called back we were excited to get something to eat and a drink. It was a very bad experience to wait and get in and not finding anywhere to sit. We had to do a few rounds until I said screw it and took a meeting phone booth which was the best idea! They have so much foot traffic that's crazy! The food was just fine not great. The bar had a huge line which I waited and when it came to my time to order I was planning on getting for myself and my bf. I wasn't sure if the were ok or not with it so I was open to either response. This was the unfriendliest bartender I have ever encountered on a lounge! She had a terrible attitude and was very vocal of how unhappy she way. She clearly started I couldn't and to my request of a tequila sunrise she just said "hmm no! I don't have that!" In a very rude tone. I went for a mimosa instead. While there she kept complaining of people not picking their drinks. One person made a comment of the long line and she just said "well just grab one of those as the people who ordered are MIA!". Location: Terminal 3, across from gate D1 We got into this lounge using our platinum AmEx card. The staff greets you at the desk and as you walk in, they were very welcoming. This lounge is huge in comparison to the United Club in terminal 3. Lots of seating with comfortable chairs and the dining area is pretty big as well. The hot buffet is kept clean and has way more options than the United Club. There is a bar and self serve coffee station. There are a couple of TV's scattered around and I even saw a shower room as well. Overall, a great place to pass time while waiting for your flight. read more

I loved it that they serve premium liquor with no extra charges. A lot of comfy seatings to relax in before boarding. They have some very cozy seats for couples like. I try to visit a Centurion at any airport I visit, if they have one. I travel weekly and typically fly to the smaller airports which don't have a Centurion, but LAS had one, so I went! They have a QR code outside the main entrance you can scan to be added to the wait list, which is nice, as it prevents people from waiting in long lines, clogging up the entrance. If you do this when you're nearby and just go wait in the terminal, you'll be texted when you can enter. For me, this took about 5 mins, so it was quick and worth the wait. Once inside, service was friendly and decent, like it normally is. The club had plenty of seating available. I assume they limit how many can enter at a time to allow for adequate seating for new folks entering, which is nice. I got there right at the start of lunch service and the theme was Peruvian food. Their Peruvian beef soup was INCREDIBLE!! I loved it so much, I went back for another bowl. Seating was decent, there was plenty of available places to sit, many with power outlets. The place was a little "run down" looking though and didn't appear very freshly cleaned to me. I didn't like that they have steps (only 3) to go up to get into the restroom. This isn't easy for handicap, nor for those who are really worried about their luggage and traveling alone. They could easily get rid of these steps and put a ramp in. Overall, it was a nice visit. Wait at this location gets up to only 15 minutes here. Plenty of food options and drinks and outlets. Everyone is nice and friendly here. I got a free Touchland hand sanitizer on my last visit at the Clear booth. There are also two restrooms inside. For breakfast, they had a delicious chorizo potato dish and spinach banana smoothie. Don't forget to grab a mimosa. Local Mothership Coffee Roasters is served here which is amazing! There are free postcards and mints on your way out. Can't wait to mail them out to the fam. read more

It's really a hit or miss at this location whether or not you have a long wait. On this visit my timing was perfect. There was no wait and the shower was available. Also they added an ice cream station available till 630pm. All wins in my books. Service here was 5 stars.
