Love this old school bar. A step back in time - a place where they know your name and your drink and have it ready before you sit down. The food is excellent - burgers, wings and club never disappoint and the tots are perfect. Don't go up there on a Friday or Saturday there is this little bouncer who has little man syndrome. He didn't let us in 45 mins from closing but then let 5 people after us because "he knew them" the continued to beat by ass and call the cops if I didn't walk to the street and wait for an uber. He said they owend the plaza and would get me arrested after I asked why he let the people in after us when he said no more entry's. This guy has little man syndrome and is just waiting for a reason to start something. He is a liability to the bar and any citizens trying to have a honest night. read more

This place came recommended cause it's open late, and I'm glad it did! It has one pool table, some ding ding machines, a large parking lot, and lots of seating inside. I was super hungry and was happy they were still serving food after midnight! I asked the bartender/server her recommendations on what to order and instead of the chicken tenders, she said they could turn them into nuggets. I got that and a side of onion rings and the food was on point!!! Was not expecting the food to be so delicious, seriously! The drinks were good, the people were nice, and the staff was friendly too. I would definitely come back or recommend it to anyone next time I'm in the area! I do think that they can smoke in here though, so my clothes smelling of smoke after would be my only complaint. read more

In today's climate I shouldn't be surprised that the GENERAL MANAGER of the bar told me to "sit down and shut up if you know what's good for you". Now, I've been to this tavern at least ten times and have never had an incident. I will say that Billy and the rest of the staff are extremely amazing and accommodating. However, it doesn't matter if the general manager is rude, disrespectful, and making threats. Along with his belligerently drunk wife who was taped shadow boxing the air. Again, maybe if I wasn't a woman of color the threat of "or else" wouldn't have been made. However, in no way is it excusable. I wish I could say I would be back but I won't. I'll also make it a point to warn other poc that there's a chance a threat may be made by the general manager. What's also unfortunate was bringing along people in which one felt extremely uncomfortable in the establishment and left feeling he was right that people of color are not welcomed there. If it's bar food that you want, you'll be happy. The menu isn't to my liking because this place used to be called Two Monkeys and TM had a very good cook (Curtis is a legend) who used to make top of the line pastas and salads as well as the standard bar food. I will say that the bar is a beautiful place. They seemed a little (lot) short-staffed when I was there, but I didn't stick around and give them a chance to regroup. The chicken tenders I had were very good and the service very friendly. The fries were good and hot (try to get hot fries at the Taco Mac down the road. Impossible. So they've stepped back in food variety but improved the dining experience. I just don't like fried food and burgers. I thought there might at least be one item that would step away from that stereotype. I'll give it another chance because I didn't give the blackened shrimp a shot as well as the chicken sandwiches (those of the non-fried). The atmosphere and regulars seem very nice...like a family environment of old crusty guys (like myself). read more

Chill in the afternoon! Very nice patio At the very back of a strip mall... lots of parking, at least for a light afternoon crowd. I bet this place can get pretty busy... it's way cute with all the seasonal decorations. It's way spacious with two large inside rooms and a large patio off to the side. We enjoyed ourselves watching the fall football games and trying out the fish and chips. The food was your average bar fair... but the atmosphere with super friendly, and helpful staff made the day. Looks like they have a full line up of activities for the week too... with live music and DJ nights... definitely appreciate that the patio speakers weren't over blasting while we chilled... the audio was set to a really nice level, with good crisp quality... country and rock tunes played over the TV visuals. I'm gonna give this sweet little dive 5 stars cuz even though it's a dive bar - they checked off all the boxes for me - 1) Customer service. Check. Katrina, the manager, blasted me with a warm friendly greeting as soon as I hit the door. She offered me advice about the top crowd-pleaser-menu items because she knew I was a newbie. While waiting, I was able to observe that this family run spot truly knows their regulars - greeting every one of them by name: Katrina tossed her wavy blonde hair, smiled and focused her Egyptian style kohl lined eyes on every customer that walked thru the door and greeted them by name. She also made sure I knew about the daily $7.95 lunch special. After a few moments I headed out to my car to make a phone call and she even came outside to let me know that my order was ready. I also met Katrina's Mom while I waited and she was super friendly and welcoming too. 2) Dog friendly. Check. They have an outdoor patio area so that Gizmo can tag along. As I fall more and more in love with my sweet little Pom, I find myself eschewing places who do not have a place for him too. Lol. 3) Open late. Check. Self explanatory. Since I go to bed at 8am - I loooove places that are open late. 4) Great food. Double check. I had the grouper fingers and they were deeeelicious. Katrina asked me if I wanted them fried blackened or grilled and of course I chose fried. I opted for a salad instead of fries and was surprised and pleased to see mushrooms on my salad. Had a pretty good time til I had to pee and some girl jumped in front of me in the one person bathroom what bar has a one person you serve booze people need to pee anyway I confronted the gal that stole my spot in line and I get kicked out ME the one with a history of bladder and kidney infections gets kicked out! Whatever ... this place is not worth it they still let people smoke so clearly they don't care about second hand smoke which has killed plenty ... just don't bother it's not worth it to sum it up it's REDNECK! I came here for the first time on 8/24/22. I heard it was a great dive/neighborhood bar and it is. Damien and Sarah are amazing. Great service, great drinks, great prices. I do not suggest attending this bar. I didn't even have a chance to enter this establishment before someone working for the bar, came out and was entirely rude to me. I got out of my car and was walking up the side walk to take a look around at the other stores that are in the shopping center, but before I even got to the next store an older man came out and said in a load and stern, almost angry voice "hey! Move your car!... Don't you see the sign?! You can't park here!" I was alarmed at first and looked for the sign. It was an unofficial chalk written sign that had faded away in the rain saying "the monkey barrel parking only" or at least I could onlt assume that's what it said when I later looked at it. I had apologized to the man and proceeded to move my car. when the man walked back in he dance and cheered, in rejoice with the context only being what I can assume was "hey I got another one to leave" which is honestly not a good business practice in my opinion. In all honesty I was thinking about having a drink, and some food from this place before all this happened, but now because of this I will not ever be a patron for it. I hope I am the only one that this has happened to, and I hope it dose not happen to anyone else again. read more
