We've been to every Sidewall Pizza location over the past year, and the consistency, quality, and flavor keep us coming back. Most recently, we had the Meatball Pizza. Perfectly baked crust, savory meatballs, and just the right balance of sauce and cheese. Possibly the best pizza in the area, hands down. We also tried the baked goat cheese appetizer, which was a standout. The warm goat cheese with walnuts and sweet-hot Peppadew peppers creamy, crunchy, and just the right kick of heat. Just left here like 10'mins ago and felt compelled to right a review asap! We were recommended to come here because someone loved their salads. We had such great service from our server Logan, super attentive and helpful. We got the breadstick app and a wedge salad both were very very good. I loved the salad so much. The breadsticks could use a little more seasoning or garlic. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and that had the mini pepperonis on it. Our pizza was delicious! We sat on the patio since they had fans on and it was starting to cool down outside. Loved the atmosphere it's casual and obviously a local favorite. The homemade ice cream and cheesecake (lemon white chocolate) looked and sounded so yummy but we were too full. Their natural sodas were also yum I had the black cherry and the vanilla cream. I ordered two pizzas, because I was going to be driving 4 hours the next morning and this would enable me to NOT have to stop for a meal. I ordered the Roasted Mushroom Pizza at first, and later I also decided to get the Little Pepperoni Pizza. (I literally got this pepperoni pizza because I had first been attracted to this place when I saw a pic of this pizza on this yelp page. I couldn't stop myself...I had to have that pepperoni. Lol The pizzas were OUT OF THIS WORLD good...and there was a flavor on them that was so addicting. Wow. But I have to comment on the service...I think my server's name was Shireen? I believe that's what I saw on my check when it was brought to me. She was phenomenal...asked great questions, wonderful at small talk, had recommendations ready for food and drink, and she really gave me the impression that she cared. She cared that I was there and she cared that the establishment delivered a banner experience. GREAT JOB, Shireen! Stopped by Sidewall on our last leg of vacation and it was the perfect meal to end the trip. We were in the mood for some pizza and snacks. Parking can be tricky as they have a small lot, we called ahead and they said we could use the football stadium lot across the street so we did. They have a nice setup inside, some tables, the garage doors open and some picnic tables on the patio. I love the sun so we went outside and started our order with the garlic sticks. They were perfect, big sticks with a tasty marinara for dipping. My wife got a wedge salad which she loved! I got the Little Pepperoni pizza which I could not recommend enough. Tons of pepperoni cups (the best kind), sprinkle of pecorino cheese and a butter onion garlic brushed crust which added a nice touch to an amazing pie. Kudos to our server Logan who was exceptional in going out of his way to be friendly, he let my wife try some local sodas, any flavor even offered one to go. Yes yes yes!!! I'm obsessed with their stuffed pizza and I can't wait to go back! It's loaded with meat and cheese. Their sauce is slightly sweet offering a flavor I've never tasted before but I was craving for more with every bite. We also had the buffalo chicken dip.... I'm no stranger to Sidewall, but my friend and I started working on this side of town and decided to give the Cleveland Street location a go. Thursday night. First warm day of the spring. We scoped out the perfect spot right by the garage window and breathed in the freshest of air. The kind of vibe that makes you forget that you're a little (very) burnt out from the week. Not to mention...pizza heals, right? No need to look at the menu. Margherita pizza for two. The pie came out, and let me tell you. This pizza was THE pizza. I've had sidewall so many times and every time it's delicious. But for some reason this location cooks it with a side of love or something. We went silent and just made noises of enjoyment until there were no crumbs left. My friend regarded it as pizza that "falls right off the bone." It makes little sense on the surface, but yet...if you have this pizza, it actually makes so much sense. The flavors of the olive oil and basil and tomato sauce and crust just blend so nicely and the textures are fantastic. Our waitresses are always so sweet and just let us chat and enjoy our evening. If you go there and get the food, it's great and fresh and hot. We ordered on a Friday night, which was also unfortunately a game night. We ordered for pickup, and picked the pizza up as soon as it was ready. First of all, it was impossible to find parking. I wish they could find a way to make sure there was space for people on game nights when they're still plenty of room in the restaurant. It's the one of the two reasons I took away one star. The other reason is that even though we picked up the pizza immediately, it was just lukewarm. We had a 2-hour wait from when we ordered to when we picked up. I really expected that pizza to be hot and fresh, and was disappointed. That being said, it was still delicious. We tried the ice cream (both regular and vegan), and it was incredibly impressive! I would definitely recommend spending the money to get some. We hit the frosted sugar cookie and the German chocolate, and both were amazing. Excellent food, prices are a little high, but you won't go away hungry or complain about the flavors. It's worth it -- I would just recommend not ordering on a Friday night if there is a game. read more

We took a road trip to Greenville and I spent a lot of time looking at places that had GF and DF ( gluten free and dairy free) food. Sidewall Pizza has a house-made GF crust and GF breadsticks as well as several flavors DF ice cream. Of note is that this crust is 12", not the standard tiny cracker pizza most people get from restaurant supplies. That in itself was exciting. The texture of the crust/breadsticks is really unique. It's kind of like a light, airy focaccia. It has some thickness to it, which is nice. Breadsticks: I wanted to love them because I haven't had a breadstick in years that I didn't make. They were ok. Whatever is brushed on then is SO salty that they were just shy of inedible . The marinara tasted mostly like canned tomatoes with no seasoning. I brought my own vegan parm and it did not improve it. Something off there. 3/5 Pizza: In the best way, the pizza crust reminded me of the pizza hut pan pizzas I ate as a kid. It was crispy, a little oily on the bottom and had good flavor from the oven. Fresh, the pizza was very good. Leftover, the pizza quality really declined. the crust became rock hard and what was crispy fresh became almost painfully stale. The toppings were generous; the vegan cheese was bubbly from the high oven heat. Fresh: 4/5 Leftover 3/5 I reheated both in a pan and ended up even spraying a little water under them. They did not reheat well this way. There may be a better way to do it. The breadsticks were so hard we peeled off the top layer and that was the salty part, so not great. My omni eater got a regular gluten pizza with potatoes, blue cheese, bacon and a garlic sauce. This pizza smelled amazing. I wanted to eat it! They said it needed a balsamic drizzle to be perfect - just a touch of acidity. 4.5/5 We also tried the blackberry cobbler ice cream. PERFECTION 10/5 I wish I lived closer so I could have it in my freezer! The blackberry ripple was delectable and the brown sugar crumble was awesome. The last thing we tried was a black cherry soda and a root beer. I tried a sip of the black cherry soda and it was not good. My drink was the root beer and it was like no root beer I've ever had. It tasted like melted wrigley gum. It was like root beer, but like the components were off. Sadly, neither of us drank the sodas, which were excited to try being that they are some kind of local, real sugar soda co. We threw them away. 0/5 (we would have asked for something different but because we ate the ice cream so as not to let it melt, we didn't try them until much later.) Try to avoid prime time dinner hours because you'll definitely be waiting in line. But the wait is definitely worth it. They have delicious specialty pizzas with different base sauce options. Choose from your classic tomato sauce, white garlic to pesto. You can also build your own pizza. They'll even do different toppings on half the pizza as long as the base sauce is the same. They have several vegetarian pizzas and can also get you vegan and gluten free options! You better save some room for dessert because they have home made ice cream and they always have a unique flavor of the day. Stopped by to have pizza and salad at the Greenville location and I was shocked to find a few tables not picked up from previous clients, the tables were dirty and full of plates with food leftover, the floor was wet and dirty, I thought well mayve they hadn't had any time to pick them up, it was at about 3pm this saturday. We ordered and the girl brought the wrong salad, the pizza wa extremely late, and it was just a cheese pizza, when she brought the salad that I had ordered, it was the same salad without the pumpking seeds, I don't understand this since I have been a client at Sidewall since they opened and it has always been great, very dissapointed :( read more

Horrible service I tried to call to place an order for pickup. I was placed on hold for 12m 28s according to my phone. And nobody came back on the phone to take my order. I called another 13x in a span of 3 hours and you cannot get anyone. This is not first time this happened either. The last time I was on hold for such I long time I decided to drive to the restaurant. I was still on hold when I arrived. Best breadsticks ever! Some coworkers and I walked here for lunch and really enjoyed it. We sat outside but under a shaded/screened in area with picnic tables, and it's a little off the beaten path on a side street downtown. Since we had a large group, we ordered a few pizzas to split. If you want two different pizzas, Sidewall will make you a half-and-half pizza if they have the same base. We also got a few orders of breadsticks for an appetizer, and I'd order these again, hands down. They were hot and light with delicious marinara, and my friend said the homemade ranch was great for dipping, too. I wanted a lighter lunch, so I ordered a small salad, which contained squash and zucchini, as well as sunflower seeds, shredded carrots, and shaved cheese. I wish I remembered the name of the salad, and I can't find it on the current menu on the website. A small size salad is plenty for one person, though. The service was good, even with a large party. The prices are a bit expensive, but I feel like you're getting a higher quality product, and the pizzas are pretty big so you may have leftovers, too.
