My son attended Sierra Canyon's Adventure Camp for several years. They went on amazing field trips to some of the most exciting locations (Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Zuma Beach, to name a few). I would highly recommend the camp. read more

We didn't attend the day camp as they don't support trans youth and can't offer a solution to a gender neutral changing room. If you love anyone that is a member of the LGBTQ+ community, you might want to look elsewhere for a summer camp. read more

If only I were young enough to go to this camp .... this place is amazing ! I can't even imagine how anyone could say a negative thing. The people who work here seem to love it and it shows in so many ways ! This is my sons 3rd year. He knows he never wants to go anywhere else . His confidence has increased every year. For some reason their system would not allow me to register my son in Teen Camp. I called and spoke with Nicole who said the problem was fixed. I tried again it still didn't work and then I called Nicole again and she told me the camp was full. Then we tried to sign up for overnight camp. The system allowed it but then Jessica called and told me rather rudely they had to cancel since we weren't registered for two weeks of camp. Really poor customer service. Well organized and structured, we LOVE Sierra Canyon camp! Literally the BEST camp for kids!

This camp is awesome!!!!!! When you walk on the campus, you feel like you are at a 5 star hotel! "Hello" "good morning" " Did you need any help?" EVERYONE is so friendly and helpful! It makes you feel very good about where you are leaving your child for the day. They offer so much, I don't know where to start.. My review is for my daughter who has gone the past 2 years (age 5 & 6)... The themes are great, they learn cheers & chants and have a 'spirit stick'... The energy from the staff is exciting! Some of my daughters 'favorites' were... Joey the Magician.... Miss Laura with baking... swimming.. bingo.. four corners..and the great inflatables! Such a great camp... I wish my parents would have sent me there when I was a kid!! read more

This is our 4th year at the camp and it is FABULOUS! My kids WISH they could go EVERYDAY....they come home with the most incredible stories each day and I know that at the end of summer this year, they will be asking for the next 10 months if its time for camp to start again! By far the best camp experience our daughter has ever had. They make a genuine effort to create a fun environment for the kids. Our 6 year old son just finished off his first summer at this camp and he loved it! He went 5 days a week for 8 weeks and every day came home excited to talk about what he had done during the day. They offered a wonderful variety of activities from arts and crafts and magic to drama, water slides, go-karts, arcades, etc. He even learned to swim this summer. His counselors were great and all of the staff said hello and good bye whenever they saw him. You can tell how much the directors care about the kids and making sure everyone has a great experience here. Our son has already told us he wants to go back next summer so we definitely plan on returning. We highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a safe and fun place to send their kids for the summer! read more

I have written a review before for sierra canyon and for some reason it got deleted. Just want to inform you that my daughter broke her arm at 2 places on the third day of the camp. After that I did not receive a single call asking about how she was doing. The accident happened when she was trying to sit on a fence inside the facility. There was no supervision and no one around to inform her and other kids not to sit on the fence. It is amazing that still the kids are sitting on the same fence. I understand accidents happen and I understand they are kids, what I dont understand: 1. why kids are allowed to sit on the fence even after accident happen to my daughter 2. where were the staff incharge? 3. Not even a call to see how she feels 4. Not even a refund on the rest of the camp tution and a phone call asking me to remove my comment on yelp!!!!! read more

Not sure where the other reviewers are coming from. We just signed our son up and he finished his first day yesterday (I will update this post after a few weeks). I grew up on the East Coast. Day (and overnight) camps are very common. Not so out here in CA. That was why we were very happy to find a place like Sierra Canyon. It's a real day camp. The kids swim everyday. The counselors are fun and involved. There are tons of counselors. We have not experienced any snooty behavior from the staff. Yes, it's a bit pricey. With a meal and shuttle to and from you're looking at close to $100/day. Without shuttle and lunch it's about 80/day. We signed up for 5 weeks/4x week and our rate was $77/day. They have two full time nurses on staff. There are water jugs everywhere. There is one counselor and two to three counselors in training for every 20-25 campers. It feels like an East Coast summer camp. Our son had a blast yeterday. Will follow this up in a few weeks to see where we stand. read more

2 kids + SCDC = 11 total years of outstanding summers! My daughter loved the camp so much the second year she became a Counselor in Training - then moved up to Jr. Counselor (where you actually get paid :) and then this year she is one of the outstanding lifeguard staff. My little guy adores his counselors and can't wait to be a CIT when he's old enough. I can honestly say the counselors ALL remember being kids and LOVE playing for the summer. From directors to CIT's - thanks again for being so kind to my kids and keeping them safe summer after summer. SCDC rocks!! read more

Sierra Canyon Day Camp is the best camp in Los Angeles. The amount of activities which are both outdoors and inside their air conditioned rooms are great. They have a great waterslide and their counselors are amazing. read more

This is the 2nd year in which my kids have been attending this camp. They had such an amazing time last summer and an even better one this year. They can't wait to wake up in the morning and see what exciting activities that they will be participating in. The entire staff is so caring and energetic. The facility is amazing.
