So in the 5 months since my first trackday I've now done Laguna, Sonoma, Thunderhill East and West,…read moreall with Feel Like a Pro. I've continually improved, lowered lap times, and am now riding solid B-group pace all day long. There is nothing more satisfying on a Ninja 400 than having a Ducati 1299 blow by you on the straight, only to catch them in turn 3 and say "hey, remember me?" (I don't think they can hear me, but I do say it). If the Feel Like a Pro team didn't make me feel so welcome and provide a great experience, I wouldn't have been back. It's that simple. For anybody that's thought about a track day but is daunted by the unknown, give Feel Like a Pro a call. They take care of everything, you just need to ride at whatever speed and level you feel comfortable.

I had an absolutely stellar experience renting a bike from FLAP. Went into it thinking I was just…read morerenting a ninja 400 at thunderhill but I got so much more out of it. Ryan, one of the owners, is a very quick rider and he gave me a ton of pointers as well as a tow around the track and specific advice on both how to improve as well as how to ride the ninja better. He knows his own product inside out and his knowledge was invaluable. I got a lot faster over the two days I rented. Michelle, his wife and co-owner, has only been riding for two years and is super quick too. She gave a lot of perspective on how to improve quickly and was amazing at helping get us set up. The rental experience is a total white glove service. you have a canopy and tables in a prime location. Tire pressures are checked throughout the day. Ryan made numerous adjustments to the bikes ergos (I'm a taller dude) to make me more comfortable. it's like being part of a racing team with your own pit crew and mechanic for the day. Lastly the other rentals were really cool. I didn't know anyone else at the event and we hung out together. Made some new friends! Highly recommend flap.

I've been trying to get replacement bolts for my headlight cowling (Part #4266A). I ordered them in…read moreearly January and was told they were on backorder until 2/10/2026. After hearing absolutely nothing--no call, no text, no email--I followed up today, 2/25/2026, only to be told the backorder has now been pushed to 3/16/2026. A delay is one thing. A month‑long extension with zero communication is another. For something as simple as two bolts, this has been far more frustrating than it should be. I never thought a pair of bolts would make me regret buying a Harley, but here we are. Starting to think I should've gone with Indian.

I am going to stick to the facts and not provide my speculation in this review. I Bought a used CVO…read morein January and knew it had problems. Part of the deal was, Folsom Harley said they would get them fixed. I am aware a used bike may have problems. During the agreed-on repairs, I did not get a single call about my bike being ready or parts coming in (they called me multiple times about someone else's bike just not mine), and I have had to chase them the entire time. The repairs to the bike were agreed upon at purchase and every time I have gone in, they have mentioned charging me except the last time I picked it up or they have flat out not known what is going on. I will say the repairs were completed finally, but their communication is horrible, and if I had not been pestering, the bike would most likely still not be repaired but that is purely speculation on my part. New damage and Service Issues: Bike has been in shop twice since Jan dealing with the promised repairs. First time bike came out with new damage and a soaked primary as they did not wipe it down after the service (Drove it home dripping oil in front of the rear tire, maybe I'm paranoid but not good). Both times bike has come out with new damage, I will list it below. Scratch on tour pack Scratch on Fairing Gouged screen protector. Overall Expierence: My overall take is this, if you want to feel like you're constantly bothering someone, if you want to feel like you don't matter, Buy a Harley from Folsom Harley. My experience with Harley has ultimately made me exhausted of them. I do not even care to ride the Harley I purchased, nor will I ever be back unless it's to exercise my warranty until it's out.

Run far, far away! I…read morerented a KTM 890 from Nevada Adventure Rentals for a three day trip with some friends. We were clear that we weren't just cruising highways and would be doing some off-road riding. That was fine with them, these are adventure bikes after all. Well we ran into unexpected heavy rain, took a couple falls, and the bikes suffered some minor damage which we were bummed about but were willing to repair (broken mirror, clutch lever, dented hard panniers). I returned the bike, and they sent it to the shop to be fixed up. Two weeks later I was called and told they had just "discovered" something else wrong with the sub frame. Okay I thought, I didn't notice anything myself, but it's not a hard part to replace, how bad could it be? For the next two months, Barry, the apparently now behind-the-scenes owner let the bike sit in the shop with no follow up to me. I called and emailed a number times and it was clear they were in no hurry to get it back. They never knew the status of the bike and said they'd go check. The next thing I heard was a letter from the owner threatening to charge me nearly $16,000, including $12,000 for "loss of use" for every single day the bike was in the shop. That's right, he threatened to charge nearly double the value of the entire bike. When I responded that I was happy to pay for reasonable loss of use but that this seemed excessive, he didn't even respond himself, but had his lawyer send a demand letter explaining that under Nevada law "loss of use" does not have to be based on "notions of fairness, actual rental demand, or the resale value of the motorcycle" and that they could charge me based on whatever language they'd buried in the mountain of papers I'd signed at rental. They could literally let the bike sit in the shop for a year and charge me for 365 days "loss of use" with no recourse. Their paperwork also includes language claiming you will be responsible for legal fees regardless of the outcome of any litigation. It all seems incredibly well calculated to extort as much money as possible out of hapless renters. After this incident I went through their reviews and it's not hard to find other people with similar stories. It's clear this is a shady business built around shaking down the occasional customer to try to cash in on depreciated bikes. It's unfortunate that it's one of the only shops in Reno. Hope someone else opens an outfitter that isn't out to target and scam customers.
