I would highly recommend Dr. Melniczek. In fact, he is the only general surgeon myself or my family would go to and the only surgeon I've ever worked with that I let work on me. I have worked in surgery since 2007 and have worked with many surgeons and have seen A LOT; which is why I am extremely picky on who I go to! Some qualities that stand out among others is that he proceeds with caution, takes his time, and is very thorough. If he doesn't think he can do it or it won't turn out to his expectations he won't do it. He also takes great pride in what he does. I am a cosmetic pt of his and have had great results with my Botox & other procedures. He fixed exactly what I wanted done. I went to NorCal Surgical Group / Sierra Ridge Cosmetic Surgery for a consult for Renuvion and VASER. Even after exercising (lifting, riding)and proper diet, I had some areas I wanted addressed. Day of my consultation, the employees(of 3-4)seemed nice enough. Small clean lobby. After meeting with Dr. David Melniczek, for the consult, I explained to him my concerns and desires, making sure I wasn't reaching for the sky. Dr. Melniczek was very confident he could get the procedure done. I had no reason to doubt him at this point. He said I wouldn't need much since I don't have a whole lot of body fat. At the end of my consult I made my procedure appointment. The day of my appointment my family dropped me off in the morning and the front desk later called them to pick me up at 4:30. Well at 4:30 the front door was already locked, so they went to the back of the building and rung the bell and no one answered, until finally (30 minutes later) the doctor swung the back door open and told them I was getting dressed. So my family sat in the car in the back of the building and waited for me. About 3 months I noticed the front of my thighs were looking pretty good, but I also noticed that the inner thighs were looking pretty sad. I asked the doctor about it and he said it could take up to a year for the results. Okay, I can understand that with the tightening part, but we're talking about hollow indentations, it looked like too much fat was removed. BTW, according to his notes, he wasn't going to remove "any" fat from the inner thighs because he said I would not like the results. I didn't question it, he's the "cosmetic" surgeon. After 3 post op appointments and 5 months later I decided to get a second opinion by a "plastic surgeon". To make a long story short, my new doctor (Dr. K) in Folsom corrected the "voids". The red flags I missed: Cosmetic Surgery at a strip mall Before and after photos did not belong to Dr. Mel A cosmetic surgeon and plastic surgeon are not the same. DR. MELNICZEK IS PHENOMINAL! I live out of the area and make the long drive just to get my Botox and fillers for my face and lips from him. He's meticulous and I would say that he's a dang perfectionist! It's what we want from a cosmetic surgeon, right? He's honest and doesn't beat around the bush, if you ask him for something ridiculous, that will not look good, he's going to say, "negative on that!" Dr. M truly cares and wants you to look at perfect as possible, he has a great bedside manner and most importantly his results are amazing! Alrighty! So I just recently got lip fillers in for the first time ever! I was a bit nervous because I don't do well with needles! Dr. Melniczek revised scars that were left by a previous plastic surgeon.
