I debated writing this for awhile- but it's bothered me for months so I decided I needed to. I…read morehired them and paid $700 to replace the filter grids in my DE filter- they were extremely old and not functioning, had some tears. Also to replace the pressure gauge release valve on top of the filter. They completed the work in 20 minutes and said all done and they were leaving. So I came out to meet them. This is where I got irritated. First, they said my grids weren't that bad and asked me if I wanted to keep the dirty, DE caked, algae covered grids. Uh no? If they weren't that bad why didn't you say so and not replace them and charge me for it? I felt like they just didn't want to deal with it. Then I asked if they could turn the system on and make sure everything worked before they left (I'd expect them to OFFER). They said it was dry so they can't start it. I said okay I'll start it. I immediately discover they placed the relief valve so that the water would spray directly into my face as opposed to the brick wall (the way the old one faced). That took about another 20 minutes to get right. Ultimately the work was done and it works fine- but I felt like they thought I would just say "okay bye!" because I'm a woman. I doubt they'd try getting away with this sloppiness with a man.

I moved into a new house with a pool earlier this year. I have never had a house with a pool so I…read morehired Jun to maintain it. His prices and services are great. He was upfront on what would be expected of me and what he would do weekly/yearly. I had no idea what a pool needed. He explained that the pump needs to be run at least 6 hours a day to circulate the water. He would come weekly to test the water, clean the pool and check the small filter (and probably other things I forgot about). Yearly, he puts conditioner in (he explained what it does but I can't remember). A couple months ago, my pool started to turn slightly green. He put some other chemicals in to help it. But it didn't work. So he checked my big filter and told me it needed a cleaning . He and another guy came that weekend and cleaned it. After he was done, he texted and explained everything he did to the filter and pool and what I needed to do to make sure the water clears up. By the next day, the pool started to clear up. Within a couple days, it was back to normal. He's very responsive and helpful. He comes when I'm at work so I usually text him if I need anything or have questions. He speaks English but is also fluent in Korean. Totally hire this guy/company if you need a pool guy!
