TC and Nick (I think) at Signarama did a great job helping me order a new signs for our home after a driver clipped them and scratched them up. I was able to send them pictures and sizing over email to get a proof of the design. They also helped me update the font to something more modern. All in all, very efficient. and the pricing was very reasonable. After I picked up the signs, I had an issue with the location of the right grommet used to hang the sign on the hooks in our sign post - it was slightly off. TC graciously re-printed the sign for me and we measured the correct position of the grommets accurately before punching them. It fit like a glove! So thanks to Signarama for helping me get our house sign to look as good as new (we also it moved over a few feet so that the next careless driver doesn't clip it anytime soon...). read more

Allen is the BEST!!! He was super helpful, friendly and so patient as he guided me through the process of planning and purchasing an outdoor sign/door decal for the company I worked for. He is a such a perfectionist, which is a great thing. When the day came to add the signs, he realized an error on one of his signs, I didn't think it looked bad, but he insisted on taking it back because he wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Once he fixed the error (free of charge), he was back a day later to finish the job. He was super apologetic for the error on his part. I would discourage anybody from using this business. I stop by to inquire about a price quote for signs on my truck and told them my budget. Sure, they promised anything to just get the job. The problems came after that. Not only I they made me wait to cut the letters for signs for almost two month, but they didn't show up for the first appointment to install the signs at all. They came late to the second one. They charged me for two hours implementation even not only it was hardly two hours, but also they did a miserable job. And than the best, even they never communicated the "new price", and I kept stressing that the price cannot exceed my budget, they charged me 50% more than originally agreed upon. So, again, those guys don't deserve your business. read more

It's the day before Thanksgiving, I've been accepted last minute into a an expo on Saturday, will anyone be able to print up a banner for me in just a few hours? Signarama did! It was the easiest printing job I've ever experienced from start to finish. A lunch at Berkeley Bowl and my sign was ready, easy as that. They even gave me the 10% discount for new customers (that I wasn't aware of) that you can also use from Yelp. The bad reviews are about the former owner, the new owner and assistant are highly professional, helpful, and good people. I will be back. read more

No clue what all these good reviews are talking about. This place is a sham! I ordered two signs from them and they told me specifically on the phone with taxes and everything is was going to cost $196. I get there pick up my signs in which was not to the BEST (scratches,bubbles, and stains) in which they claim will wipe off... Only to find my card has been charged already without me authorizing it or letting them know that it was ok. What if I was unsatisfied (which I was). I checked my bill which was way over than what he said over the phone. Then this BRUCE guy says he was actually going to charge me more.. Either I take it or get charged more for it. WHAT A DOUCHE! If I didn't need those signs right away I would have returned it and given them the finger. read more

I went in to the Signarama store on San Pablo and ended up meeting the owner (Allen Shin). He seemed very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions about the signage my company wanted created. He gave me his business card and said to just email him once we decided on the specifics. When I emailed about a week later - I got no response. After a couple more emails and phone calls, still no response. Finally, a month or so later, we got ahold of him on the phone and he said he would send an estimate right over. He sent the estimate, and I replied with a question - and never heard back. Once again, about 3 emails and 4 phone calls later (2 months pass) - I received a reply to my question. At this point, I had already engaged another signage company and will be working with them. They seem to be able to respond to my emails with a couple of hours, not months. read more

I've had a lovely experience working with Sign-A-Rama! The owner is delightful and was thoughtful about helping me design signs that would work for me. The designers and workers were reliable and dedicated, and best of all I ended up with very beautifully done work. Contrary to the last post, the communication we had about pricing and timing was clear and fair. Previewing the signs first, both electronically and a swatch in person (so I could see color and size how they would look in real life), was another really helpful thing that they offered as part of the deal, so that I ended up being quite happy with my sign! read more

Horrible service and not reliable I went in for two simple signs he said he would charge me the minimum which was $55 or $60 dollars I sent in all my art work met with Allen shin the owner on a Friday he told me he would have a proof sent by email to me Saturday I agreed when I didn't get the proof I waited until Monday called him and he said he would get one out to me the same day I still haven't gotten anything and it's been almost a week this business is very unprofessional and unless your dishing out lots of money then they'll take your business there are way more professional sign designs out there who actually value there customers as they eventually would be returning customers ....bad people bad for business go to design a sign down the street wouldn't recommend anyone to try them read more
