Signature Design Center was highly recommended to us by my husband's boss, he used them in his house and they also worked on his father's home. We were doing a revamp of our downstairs, new floors, baseboards, paint, moulding, new bathroom, etc...basically changing everything except the kitchen. With all the supply chain issues these days, I didn't expect we would get a quote from them, let alone have them start working any time soon. Wrong! Husband contacted them end of November for a quote and they came out the same week. We scheduled an appointment to meet at their design center a few days later. We picked out all the materials we wanted and discussed the project, only took about an hour. Their quote came in much less than I had budgeted for, so we were very happy about that. They offered to start construction the following week! That was a bit too soon for us, especially with the holidays approaching, so we agreed to start the 2nd week of January. Demo began bright and early on 1/11. My husband works from home so he was here every day they were. He said all the workers were incredibly nice, accommodating, and efficient. They even worked on a Saturday to keep the project going, which was awesome! We ended up adding a few things along the way that we hadn't previously thought of. It was no issue for them to complete those tasks as well. I honestly cannot say enough GREAT things about this company. I was absolutely dreading construction as I have heard so many horror stories of flakey contractors, delays, things going wrong, etc... from many of my friends. We experienced none of that with SDC. They showed up on time every day, worked super fast, and they cleaned up well after they were done. They were able to refresh our entire downstairs in 8 days! There were a few minor things we found after they were completed. Honestly, things nobody would really notice, but we had gone through the house with a fine tooth comb to make sure it was perfect. Husband text them about the issues, they came back within a week to fix everything, and got it all done in a few hours. At some point we will tackle the floors upstairs, and when we do, we will definitely use Signature Design Center. I recommend them 100% to anybody who wants to do work in their house! read more

Let me start at the very beginning when we first contacted Signature Design. My husband spoke with Fred the owner and he was so pleasant and said that he could send someone out to measure and there was no obligation to go with them. Valentina came out to the house, listened to what I wanted, added in her own thoughts and measured. We made an appointment to go into the store to see her plans. When I say we were so impressed with her layout, it was my dream kitchen. We set up a date to have the work done. When they came out to do the final measurements, Jaime, who was our project manager came out as well. He was talking to my husband about some work we wanted done in our backyard and we ended up having them do the work in our backyard as well. Jaime made sure that everything was being done in a timely manner. We pretty much saw Jaime everyday, he always listened and was always open to us adding things that we wanted. NEVER!! We met with a few designers and a contractor about a complete remodel of our 5 bedroom 4 1/2 bath Huntington Beach home. Then we made a visit to Signature Design center and met Fred the owner and Valentina his designer. After spending quality time with them Fred offered for Valentina to visit our home to see the project, offer ideas and see if we wanted a quote. Valentina spent hours discussing ideas and taking measurements. We entered into a very understandable contract that you did not need a lawyer to interpret that spelled out the specifics of the job. Valentina devoted as much time as we needed to help pick out all the necessary construction items. Once the project was started Jaime, their on site project leader, did a fantastic job of communicating and coordinating the project. All their employees were courteous , respectful, and did quality work. Jaime was always there to help his crew and see the competition of their work to our satisfaction. Now with all those nice things we have said there is always going to be a few hiccups. The true test to a company and their employees is how they correct and how quickly. I used to have another contractor prior contracting with Signature Design Center unfortunately the other company made a lot if mistakes starting from batting the necessary city permits etc. When I spoke to Fred the president of the company, he immediately came up with a rescue plan and just in couple of months we were able to have a huge change. We had our kitchen done by Signature about 6 years ago and they did an amazing job. What's even better is that when I had an issue with the under cabinet trash can, I called and they sent out their service guy, Sam, to help. Sam was INCREDIBLE. I sent him pictures of the unit and then he came to the house and took and look and the unit and said it needed to be replaced. No biggie, it gets used literally 100 times a day, so it wore out. We went over to Wurth off of La Palma and got a new unit which was right on the showroom floor. Sam came back to the house and in less than 15 minutes had installed the new unit and it works perfectly. Not only that, the door perfectly matched the drawer above it, so everything is seamless. I started my search for a company to remodel my master bathroom around May. After interviewing three different contractors, I decided on Fred and Signature Design Center for the design ideas he offered with a fair and favorable pricing structure that Leo and I could afford. Work began in July with Sam and Valentina being our main "go to" for any questions or help with whatever Leo and I needed to get the master bathroom we envisioned. Sam did an excellent job of organizing the variety of workmen that were needed for this project. From the beginning with the tear out down to the studs, enlarging the space, managing plumbers, carpenters, electricians, tile and drywall guys, etc., Sam kept our job moving at a very good pace. We dreamed for years of remodeling our kitchen and finally took the plunge beginning in September of 2022. After doing extensive research on kitchen remodeling companies, we chose to work with Signature Design Center. Why? First off, we were impressed with the reviews. Not all were positive (although the majority were), but what impressed us was the response given to those with negative reviews who complained about something. The owner of Signature Design Center, Fred Jarrah, responded and offered to talk to the customer and work through the problem. That kind of customer service is rare and something we were looking for. Second, we visited their showroom and were introduced to one of their designers, Valentina. She was humble and kind and listened to our needs and wants. She was very patient with us as we went back and forth on our design ideas. The second time we visited the showroom, we met Fred, the owner. Once you meet Fred, you feel like you've found a long-lost friend. He is kind and helpful, and knows this business inside out! Fred always treated us as though we were his number one customer. Every employee from Signature Design Center was kind, respectful and VERY helpful. The girls in the office; I can't say enough about them. Gihwa and Karen, you're the best! They always took our calls/texts, and if they didn't have an answer, they found it and got back to us right away. There were "hiccups" along the way, as happens with any project, but the Signature team made sure everything was taken care of to our complete satisfaction. I really had a hard time finding any constructive criticism, but if there was one thing I would say it would be to stress communication with them. A couple of times I was getting ready to head out the door to work or an errand and one of the employees would show up to do some work on the project without a heads-up that they were coming. Not a major deal, but it is nice to know ahead of time so you can plan. Overall, they were FANTASTIC to work with. They worked within our budget and never tried to upsell us. This review is long overdue. I hope this review from my experience would help people to make the good decision. My wife and I were looking for remodeler to renovate our kitchen and two bathrooms on August 2019. We found 4 contractors and we cut down to 2 to decide because our budget. Eventually we choose Fred the Signature Design Center because he carries all material that we are looking for and agree with us that walk-in pantry is good fit to our kitchen. The process took a bit longer than we expected because the wrong tile is shipped and change orders. Though there are some hiccup, Fred and his team are being honest and keep us posted whenever he can. We had couple communication problems but at least we are patient to each other to learn from each other. At the end, we love our dream kitchen and bathrooms especially they finished before covid-19 is escalated in the U.S. We are lucky that we could enjoy our new kitchen and bathrooms during the stay home order. We just completed a bathroom renovation with Signature Design. Fred came up with a design for our bathroom. It turned out beautifully. Everything put into our new bathroom is top quality. My favorite is the beautiful thick, sparkling quartz countertop that Fred supplied for the vanity. It has to be seen to be believed. Also unbelievable, is that they finished the entire bathroom which they gutted to the studs in less than two weeks! The price that Signature Design charged for the complete bathroom (they supplied all the materials from the tile, vanity, bathtub, lights to the towel racks) was more than fair. What an amazing experience with Signature Design Center. They completely transformed my kitchen into the kitchen of my dreams - farmhouse themed with a chimney hood, custom decorative insert over the stove, microwave drawer, beautiful shade of blue and white cabinets completed with black knobs. I am so very happy that we chose to work with Signature Design! We started our remodeling journey several years ago, thinking through how we wanted our home to look, and working with several designers. After interviewing multiple contractors for a bathroom remodel, I selected Signature Design Center, and I am so thankful I did! After seeing the video renderings by my designer Valentina, and meeting the owner Fred, who reassured me of the lifetime satisfaction guarantee, as well as seeing the quality and wide selection of products in their showroom, I knew I made the right choice! There was no high pressure selling, and Valentina worked closely with me to select fixtures within my budget and personal style. Her measurements were accurate and she helped me re-envision and open up the existing space. Valentina was also available to provide input during the remodel when I had to make selections for grout color and other details. Jaime my project manager was amazing. He was extremely responsive to my questions, and was always a step ahead of me, anticipating every concern and listening to my preferences. Jaime is a great communicator (bilingual in Spanish) and supervises his crew very effectively so that they always understood the needs of the project, and followed his clear instructions. Each member of the crew was skillful in their craft (plumbing, electric, drywall/paint, carpentry) and were respectful toward me and my home, and tidied up the work space each day. Karen in the front office would email or text me at the end of each day to let me know what work was scheduled to be done for the following day. The project was completed in the estimated timeframe. There were only two mistakes to note which were that the shower plate and bath plate were placed crookedly, and unfortunately the error could not be remediated. I chose Signature Design to do my master bathroom remodel after looking for a company that had fair prices, superb workmanship, and excellent customer service. Now that a few months have passed since the completion of the project, I can say that I'm a fan of this company and would recommend them to others to use for any remodeling project, big or small. To be balanced and fair, I have to say that there were a couple of hitches in the road regarding communication from team members of Signature Design. However,Fred, the owner, was always adamant about follow up and having his workers do what they say they are going to do. I needed 2 bathrooms remodeled and needed a reliable contractor. I saw Signature Design's ad in the Home Magazine and decided to visit their business. I first met with their owner/president, Fred, to talk about my project and my expectations. He informed me the design & estimate for the work would be done immediately, but there would be no pressure or phone calls to follow up. The contract & estimate was good for 1 year, but it was up to me to contact them to confirm the contract with them. He also assured me that once they began the work, they would remain on the job to completion. Having neighbors who were abandoned periodically during their projects, i was delighted to hear this. The work on the bathrooms began on May 15 and was completed on June 20. The superintendent on the job was Jaime, and he kept me informed on a daily basis, made sure the work progressed smoothly and was completed properly at each step of the project. The craftsmen that worked on the project were competent and detail oriented. The tile as installed is a work of art. All materials were high quality, the vanities & countertops were custom built and exactly to my liking. The work continued on a daily basis and at the end of the day the crew cleaned up. I was very impressed with the care taken to protect my house during the work. Every floor surface was covered. When the job was complete there was no damage to any of my existing home, including my carpeting. Karen sent me daily texts each evening so I knew what work would take place each day. The finished bathrooms are beautiful, functional and specifically suited to my home. And the time frame from start to finish was approximately 1 month, which is incredible for 2 completely remodeled bathrooms. I can recommend this company without reservation. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Reworks after reworks and they just stopped responding. I had water poured down from upstairs bathroom to downstairs four times, the workmanship is below average. Too many problems to mention. read more
