Horrible customer service here. If you're just looking for a one-off place to get your nails done, go for it. But if you're looking for a good go-to place to get your nails done consistently, you can do much better. This place offers zero beverages with their service, they're not very friendly, and they're overpriced compared to other places. Furthermore, they don't prioritize cleanliness at all - there was a time my tech thought she was done with the sanding tool, so she removed the head and set it aside to soak in a bowl of Acetone. She later realized one of my nails needed to soak a little longer and asked me to soak my finger in the SAME BOWL that the dirty sander was already soaking in. Absolutely disgusting. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for about four months and I really like it! It's well cleaned and maintained with nice chairs and a comfortable waiting area. You check in using an iPad system that remembers you by phone number. This allows you to earn points for each visit. I've come probably five times so far and still haven't received any type of reward for those points, so I'm not sure how big of a payoff that really is. They have a wide selection of dip manicure colors and I try to arrive 5-10 minutes early for my appointment so that I can have time to choose a color. I'm so indecisive! Unfortunately there have been a couple of times where I felt pressured to hurry up and choose and get in their chair, even though I came early for the appointment. Most of the time they are fairly patient with me, though. Ken, the co-owner, is so kind and welcoming. He also did a great job with my dip polish removal and basic manicure. He was efficient without making the experience seem too hurried. I also love Ann, who I'll be asking for from now on. She takes her time on my dip manicures and while the appointments last a little longer with her than with others, I really appreciate her attention to detail and the quality of her work. I have to say that she has probably given me the best dip manicure I've ever received in terms of even thickness of the nail and an even, smooth nail surface. She's also very kind and receptive to fix or change anything that you aren't happy with. I've only had one experience that I didn't completely love, and that was with Julie. She had another appointment show up while she was finishing my nails, and I felt that she rushed through the end of my appointment and the quality of the manicure wasn't up to the usual expectations from the salon. I asked her if she could fix something before I left and I don't think she was very happy about it. Overall the experience was still good (if a bit awkward), and I was pretty happy with the quality of the manicure by the time I left. I'm really happy with the quality and the value of the manicures and pedicures that I receive here and will continue recommending the salon to all of my friends. They are overpriced for a "nail spa" that doesn't even provide any cuticle care. The lady did not take care of my natural nail at all, leaving the skin around looking terrible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She was also rude, yanking my hands very rudely, but not once saying anything to me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I asked her about cuticle prep she stated that they didn't do it at this "spa". When I asked who I am assuming is the manager, he said that it is not included and that it is an additional cost. That was never mentioned to me when I asked the lady that did my nails. Had I known, then I would have asked. This is not mentioned in their website, not even where the additional services are listed. There was also an issue with the color, when it was applied it was a lot lighter then what I had expected, before she did a second nail, I let her know that I would like to change the color as it looked lighter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She gave me the nastiest look and very rudely told me to pick another color.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My nails look terrible and not worth the price. I don't ask for a specific nail tech because I think they all do a great job. I never feel like they're rushing me out the door & the "signature pedicure" is my monthly "me time" :) I recommend calling ahead & scheduling an appointment because they are so busy. An appointment ensures best service--you should expect busy & a wait with such a good place. I don't like the process of dip nails but it's worth it since my nails always turn out so good & last forever! They do request cash in tips. They have an ATM in the shop & it charges a small $1.50 fee. That doesn't bother me, but the past 2 times I've gone, the techs have offered Venmo for tips & I've liked that a lot more. read more

Came here yesterday for my first-ever dip powder manicure and am pretty pleased with the result! I was able to book an appointment for the same day and all of the employees were as nice as could be. Ken did my manicure and he was very efficient - I was done within 45 minutes. On my way out, he told me that if my nails get smudged to come back and he would fix it. The only reason why I deducted one star is because the top coat added a pink hue to it because the dip I got was white (not a huge deal and definitely wouldn't be noticeable over any other color). Also, my dip manicure was $46 and I did not receive a hand / arm massage or lotion. I feel that for the price I paid, I should've had some sort of treatment besides the dip itself, but oh well. read more

I really enjoyed my experience here today. I came in with a bachelorette group around 11 on a Saturday and this place was doing the business, oh so busy! I highly recommend that you make an appointment, especially if you plan to visit on the weekend. We were immediately greeted and I noticed that the space is very modern and clean. My nails were done about as well as if a friend had painted them, but did not meet the expectations I have for a professional. The edges of several nails were missed either entirely or just for one coat so the final appearance was uneven. My cuticles are peeling more now than they were this morning. The fans they use to dry the nails were uncomfortably cold and the desk did not have enough space under it to be able to lean back and relax in the seat. You had to slump forward. The nail polish brand was OPI if that affects anyone's decision. read more

When I first walked in, no one said anything to me. They all looked up, but they said nothing (which I didn't like). Someone finally greeted me and asked what I needed. There seemed to be some confusion about who my nail tech would be because they conversed in their language for 5 minute before telling me to "pick a color." They didn't rush me to pick a color, though, which was nice. I was finally ready for the technician to start my pedicure and it was THE MOST RUSHED JOB ever! She started at 2:32pm and was done with the pedicure at 2:40pm! I KID YOU NOT! She took about 5 minutes to polish my toes and was done completely at 2:45pm. She was getting ready to take me over to the manure station when A guy (maybe the owner) walks past her and says, "Don't forget you have a 3pm appointment." The lady states she could get me in because I didn't have any gel polish on my Nails at the time. Omg this was rushed too!! There were bubbles in my polish that I had to ask her to fix and my cuticles bled a few times from how rough she was. Overall, my technician was very nice but I don't like the fact that she rushed to "squeeze me in" all because she had an appointment at 3pm (I was a walk-in). I would have gladly waited for someone who had enough time to carefully and thoroughly give me what I paid for. I would try them again, but I would hope to have a different technician. read more

Let me start off by saying that I love this place. I like about 30 mins from here, but will continue driving the distance to get a good set like this. I'm very picky about my nails, the young woman that did my nails did a fabulous job. The atmosphere was relaxing and calm, I felt like I could fall asleep while she did my nails. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. I was a walk in, I got to the salon at about 6pm, I expected it to be very very busy. They got me in right away, they didn't push extra services on me and listened to what I wanted. I paid $56 for a new set of ombré dip nails. That is a great price! Very reasonable for the amount of work that they put into a dip set. It was clean, and nothing looked messy. Which is a pet peeve of mine. I can't wait to return for my fill! read more

So definitely not the worst nail shop out there but this place is pretty high up there on the list. First of all, they DO talk shish about you in their language. (We were indecisive about the colors. They were still doing the prepwork so it's not like they were waiting on us). Because of the mask, they didn't realize I was a native I could understand. Once revealed, they did stop LOL. Second, she made one of my fingers bleed because she cut the skin too close but it's no big deal it happens I guess. But when other reviews said they RUSH they mean it. I think they took about 10min for a gel set. Maybe that's why I got a bleeding finger idk. The whole experience was negative and WEIRD from the beginning to the end. They REFUSED to do an ombré set for me. Like the nail tech said no and looked away until I said fine just regular gel set. I think they only wanted to go the quickest job to move on to the best one. I've been very impressed with the employees work at this nail spa! I have sensitive cuticles (maybe everyone does not sure haha) and I often leave nail places in discomfort due to little cuts around my fingers (let alone not being comfortable during the session while it's happening). I not only have loved the results I've gotten from their services, but I haven't been in any discomfort during or after. The spa itself is in a good location, is visually appealing inside and it's clean! I no longer have to worry what aspect is going to be lacking when I go to get my nails done, they have it all covered! I've had Ken do my nails multiple times and another nice lady another time (unfortunately I don't recall her name) both were excellent. They also don't charge more than other local nail spas (from what I've experienced at least). I paid $35 for a full set with gel. I also love that their easy to talk to and friendly. I met a friend here this morning. She was getting a pedicure, for me, a mani/pedi. I was a couple of minutes behind her. I selected my color and followed her to the back with the nail tech to wait since we did not have appointments. I was told it would be a few minutes. Sure, no problem. While my friend was being serviced, a woman walked in and came back to let the tech know she got the time wrong for her appointment. The tech told her it was fine, no problem. Except there was a problem. I was still sitting and waiting to be serviced. I am not sure how late the woman was for her appointment but what I do know is that I was already there and waiting to be serviced. Once my friend was all finished and waiting for her nails to dry, the tech ran water for me in the tub and once again said, it will be a few minutes. We are 40 minutes in at this stage and rather than servicing me next since I had been sitting there and waiting, she happily walked to the front and started on the nails of the woman who walked in late. I was dumbfounded. My friend and I stared at one another in disbelief. I was completely dismissed. I was sitting with my feet in the tub just waiting. I quietly dried my feet and put my shoes back on. I followed my friend to the front and while she was paying, her tech just smiled at me and said, sorry. I always tell my kids, apologies are only genuine when what was done to the person was unintentional and it comes from the heart. What this tech did was totally intentional. I am a black woman and the women who came in late was white. What I can tell you from experience is that things don't play out the same way when it's in the reverse. This has not been my first experience of this nature but I assure you it will not happen again at Signature Nail Salon. I will never return and my friend won't either. The tech was disrespectful in dismissing me and it was an overall humiliating experience. What do I tell my kids when they do something to their sibling intentionally and get called on it then they apologize out of guilt? Don't be sorry, do better.
