This used to be one of my go to nail spots in Denver, well it seems like over time the quality did not keep up with the price demands. I wanted a shellac manicure, emphasis on the manicure! The tech barely clipped any cuticle growth, did a quick 2 layer apply of shellac and called it a day. I didn't realize how much you can see through the polish to my natural nails until I was out in the sunlight, the polish didn't cover the whole nail. Not impressed got a pedicure on my birthday on Friday, July 26, 2024 it was terrible spend $50. I was asked if something was wrong because my face said it all. The beautician did not do great work or really put no real effort into the work. Stressful environment. Please don't waste your money. I specifically asked if they had a cheaper pedicure under $50 she told me no and I looked later when I was doing the yelp review so she lied so I spend money I didn't have to. I went back to have my nails fixed after the paint was chipping, and a nail broke two days after getting them done. They asked me to come back on another day, because they were too busy. Then I come back another day, and they ask me to wait. After 40 minutes I ask when they will be doing my nails, they tell me soon. Another 30 minutes go by, no apology for the wait. They told me I have to wait on the nail tech that initially did my nails, even though there are other techs just hanging out. Why cant they help assist? Why am I waiting this long, especially when they initially messed up on my nails? HORRIBLE customer service. I then get my nails fixed and the same day the paint is chipping, and another nail breaks. As a Licensed cosmetologist who also studied nails and skin this nail salon needs to be audited by the state for the poorly ran establishment . I used to get my nails done here every year for my birthday, this year I went and had an awful experience. During my pedicure she did not cut or file my nails at all she just painted them and use a stone massager for 2 minutes then sent me on my way to get the worst manicure of my life. They did not even do anything I asked the entire service. My nails for my birthday were hideous. Sooooo don't go to Signature Nails. Lisa jacked up my nails baaaaad. And I called and went back to get them fixed and the lady at the front literally called me a liar and that I asked for them this way. I've never had nails this short.... I only went here because my normal nail lady (WHO IS BOMB) is out of town in Mexico for her bday. She literally told me Lisa has been doing nails for 20 years so she knows what she's doing. LISA KEPT FILING MY NAILS DOWN. They're fat, lumpy and crooked. The ends are all slanted. And then the lady calls up Lisa who gives me, IM NOT JOKING, gives me such a dirty look and goes "you asked for them that way." And starts talking in Korean to the other front lady. The front lady says she'll only fix the crooked ones. I say they're all crooked. And she goes "I'll fix the shape." And I asked for a refund to be able to go get them done at another place and get fixed BECAUSE I PAID $58.... and she tells me they don't do refunds. There's no sign up anywhere in the store for no refunds. So I asked if I could just get a new set because they're already sooo short... and the lady says no they can't do that either. I've never been so disrespected in my life. She then asks if I want to get them fixed still and I say yes because my boyfriend fronted me the money so I feel guilty using his money in the first place... I sit down and the guy working the front asked another girl to come stand by me!!!! And they continue to just stare at me. So I called My boyfriend and I just lost it on the phone and he said I don't have to get them fixed there, I can go somewhere else and I should just leave. So I tell the front guy I don't want to get them fixed and I will be reporting them.... And then the guy, the girl he had stand by me and the front lady come to the front door and watch me walk to my car and the lady who was being so rude to me follows me outside and asks if I still want them fixed. By this time I'm in tears and still on the phone with Matt..... I had a customer at my work tell me my nails are Effed up at work today too.... so I'm already not in a good mood.... THIS IS WHY I DONT GO TO ANYONE BESIDES MY NORMAL LADY. Trust me, I'll be ripping these pieces of crap off my nails tonight and tomorrow and I'll be going to get a new set Saturday evening when I get off work earlier.... they're so fat and lumpy.... I had a terrible experience trying to get my nails repaired after they broke three days after I went to this salon for an acrylic rebase. I've never had nails break off in the first week. The shellac started to flake off too! I made an appointment and waited an hour to be seen then argued about being charged. I'll never go to them again. DO NOT GO HERE. This is undeniably one of the very worst nail salons in the area. Their "#1 Voted Nail Salon" sign drew me in. There's no way they are actually voted #1. Their customer service is awful. They are very unorganized, and somehow have a lot of business. Those two things mixed lead to taking forever to check guests in, and a very hectic waiting area. They even told me I didn't have an appointment scheduled, when I had called in an hour ahead. I was told that I had to wait 25 minutes for my service. Being a patient person, I figured it was just a mistake with the receptionist, and decided to wait. I speak Mandarin. I have never heard so much sh*t talking in a nail salon, ever. The manicurists were giggling amongst themselves, making fun of the guests' hair, clothes, and saying things like "her outfit is no good, I don't have to spend as much time on this one". I thought the woman who had done my nails did an okay job. She nicked the sides of my nailbeds several times with the electric filer. If you've ever had that happen, it's awful. The lady also skipped out on the normal spa treatments (like the hand massage). But, it gets worse. I was prompted to write this review after one of my nails ripped off in the car door, and I noticed a nasty yellowing under the nail that was definitely not there before. I went in to urgent care and was told it was a fungus, likely from bacteria in the acrylic nail. This place is awful, unsanitary, and unsafe. Go ANYWHERE else. read more

I usually come here and have been for a long time but today was the last straw. I asked for what is in the photo and got these instead. Now when I said something about the middle nail needing to be silver not a yellowish white with silver sparkles, I got well I'll add more then. Then when I proceeded to tell them that's not what I wanted, they just argued with me and said well that's what you asked for. Clearly it is silver in the picture and clearly there is no yellow to the white anyway. I spent $150!!! No powder, no specialty design, but the nails were $55 for some reason. As I look at the board that had severely more intricate designs for $35. I didn't know what to do other than cry from frustration. I am a nurse and NEVER treat myself. DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL. First regardless of what pedicure machines they have you should still conceal it with plastic for each client which they did not do. I was on vacation and decided to go here for a no chip manicure and pedicure. Over the weekend I notice my toe begin to become sore and figured I had just hit it on something over the weekend. Over the week I noticed it was pretty swollen and discolored so I went to the doctors where they confirmed I had indeed had a FUNGUS from the pedicure. My doctor advised me to document records and proceed in a legal manner. I am so disgusted by this outcome and have tried reaching out to the business. I've been coming to this salon for more than 10 years and it's always been good BUT I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE TODAY. I went and got a pedicure and a gel full set I was there from 10:30 am to 12:00 my toes were done first. As I sat for an hour to get my nails done my toes still weren't dry. So I obviously I need to go about my day my the polish on my toes messed up at some point. As soon as I noticed I called and made an appointment to go fix my toes . I arrived at the salon spoke with the "manager" she then told me that they will only fix the big toes with the same polish.... why would I want the same polish that wouldn't dry after an hour of sitting???? I explained this to the "manager" she said that I would need to pay an additional $9 to get the color fixed... there is something wrong with the polish as it took the guy almost 20 minutes to get off he asked to use a drill. Take the polish off of the shelf and repaint my toes because I was just here yesterday and spent $110. I'm a loyal customer I have always told everyone where I get my nails done. I'm so incredibly disappointed with the service. It's not a salon I will be going to and I absolutely will be telling everyone I know not to go back. Polish was still gooey when I left and my nails broke off on a second night (I got them done on Thursday night and Saturday night two nails broke ), I would be just going back to them and ask to fix my nails, but I had a flight to catch to go on vacation Sunday 5am, so I spent all my vacation with terrible looking nails because by the day 4, they were all broken. TERRIBLE STAY AWAY! This place USED to be a great salon but it's gone down hill. As someone who would religiously come to signature nails I even hosted my bridal party here to get our nails done I don't recommend anyone ever visit this place after today. I came in for a dip mani & regular pedi. Service started out fine but when it came to my dip mani it quickly turned. I repeatedly showed the girl a picture of what I wanted which was a simple nude to white ombré color but she only looked at it once as each time I showed it to her for her reference she would ignore it. She kept telling that it wasn't going to look exactly like the photo to which I replied as long as it looks close it's fine. I even asked her what service would look closest to the photo & she replied dip. I always do dip nails here & no one has ever done my nails the way she did. She would dip my finger then sprinkle another color on top. I was confused but decided to trust the process. At one point she dipped my finger in a hot pink color & asked if I liked it. (I'll attach a photo of what I was going for) I told her I did not like that color it's way too pink & that it looks nothing like the photo to which I pulled out for her again & she didn't even attempt to look at the photo. At this point I've been with her for almost 3 hours since my pedi. I'm a patient person but that's the longest I've ever spent at a salon. You could tell she started getting agitated & so was I. My nails looked like tie dye instead of the ombré I wanted. She then told me "you can't get ombré nails with dip"I told her that's incorrect as I always get ombré dip nails here & it's never looked this terrible. If she couldn't do dip nails then why recommend it? I started telling her this looks nothing like the photo not one bit close. As I was in the middle of telling her she called over another lady to which she again told me "it's hard to get ombré nails with dip" I again told this lady I always get ombré dip nails & it's never looked his terrible. She then recommended I can either remove the dip completely & they can start the dip all over again or they can add shellac on TOP of the dip so that I can leave with some color. At this point it's 12pm & I arrived at the salon at 9am when they opened. I told her I've been here for 3 hours I don't have time to sit here for her to do it all over again. She then said "let us do the shellac it'll only take 15 minutes & well only charge you for the pedi & shellac so it will be $75 instead of $80" I'll pay for the service I don't expect to get my entire service for free so I was like whatever. The girl started globing on the shellac which looked so thick & was very stringy. I was at my breaking point but am not a rude person so I told the girl "this looks terrible just take it all off I need to leave" she then pulled out 2 cups of pure acetone to dip my nails in & then got up & left. I sat around waiting for her to come back until the guy up front noticed & pulled the lady I was speaking with prior. I told her I need to go I don't have time to sit here all day & to remove the dip from my hands while the other girl was still hiding in the back. She filed the dip off & as I walked up the the front I was charged for my pedi & a $5 fee to remove the dip & shellac they recommended I put on top on the dip. It's $5 I'm not going to argue over $5 but I will not be coming to this salon nor would I ever recommend others to come here either. Once the veteran nail techs left this place is has never been the same. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. There are plenty of other nail salons that are worth your time. read more

My wife really likes Signature Nails. So...when she said can we stop by so she can have her nails done, I wasn't surprised. I assumed I would drop her off and come back, but she instead asked that I come in. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have known. Next thing I knew, I was being whisked off to one of those wonderful back massage chairs at a pedicure station. My wife surprised me with a couple's mani/pedi session. Some men have weathered, "working" hands; I have weathered feet; to say I was mortified with the state of my feet at the beginning of my pedi is a major understatement. With no hesitation, the manicurist attacked my feet. No clue what the different steps were but I could see the dry skin peel off with each step. In the end, my feet were night and day, and I am ashamed to admit I really enjoyed it and will be back regularly. That was $35 well spent....heck the $35 would have been worth it just to get my feet to look somewhat human, so a mani on top is just icing. This shop really caught me off guard. We were walk ins and seen immediately on this visit. It is much larger and nicer than the outside would lead you to believe. All the equipment used for the mani/pedi were in sealed packages. For the men out there who have never experienced a pedicure, give it a try and come here! read more

I was recommended this place by an old co-worker. Her nails always looked so stellar at work so I needed to know where she got her nails done. I've been here twice now. Mostly when I have a special occasion or when I am going out of town. I don't like getting shellac done on the regular. I am the pickiest person when it comes to my nails but this place is awesome. I've had two different people each time but no complaints here. They were both really good and fast. I got a pedicure along with nailart shellac. Let me say, whatever product they use really works, Shellac has never ever lasted on my nails. Maybe a week max. Signature Nails lasted me the full two weeks and basically 3 weeks before i got bored and took them off. I definitely recommend this place to people who love great nail art. They can do anything.
