I don't normally leave reviews, but I'm upset with my last visit to this salon. They asked what I wanted and I said "a basic pedicure and manicure" The guy asked if I wanted color and I said yes. He then brought over sample colors for me to choose from. After my pedicure he asked if I wanted the same color on my hands. I said yes I just want a basic manicure and polis. The service was fine but he charged me for a gel manicure I did not ask for. I was assuming I was given regular nail polish to choose from when I asked for color. They did not tell me it was gel. I would have specifically asked for a gel manicure and pedicure if that's what I wanted. I walked away with a $70 bill for my nails, which I never pay. All he said was sorry you got gel. They didn't offer anything in return. I was pretty forward in asking for a basic manicure and pedicure. If you're going to charge someone for a service let them at least know ahead of time they are going to pay 20-30 more per service than they would have normally. I honestly would never pay that much for this service. I get gel is a common thing, but I think you should notify the person especially when they ask for a plain/basic service. I don't think I'll be going back to this nail place again. Also there's a $5 COViD fee they didn't tell me about until I questioned why I was charged so much. read more

The woman doing my nails who seemed to be pregnant, was rude and abusive. She pinched my fingers every single time she grabbed them to work on them, which was for an hour long service. She burned my fingers with her electric nail file. The last straw was her flipping out because I accidentally touched her hand with the nail she had just put polish on. I had never seen a nail tech get so worked up over something so little. I did not do it on purpose, it was an accident. She made me feel so bad about it that I broke down crying. I wanted to leave immediately but couldn't. I had never experienced anything like this before and I regret ending up at this shop. I will never recommend anyone to go there. On top of the bad experience my nails started lifting a few days later and I had to have them redone.

Kind of bummed with my experience today…read more First up, a nipped and bleeding cuticle. Not sure what she put on it (some kind of green solution?) but she did leave that cuticle alone for the most part after that occurred. Next up, my manicurist painted over some of my cuticles that she had snipped (but hadn't completely cleared off), leaving bumps in my gel. I asked her to fix one finger that had a fairly noticeable painted-over lump, and to her credit she snipped out the lump and filed it down. She was going to leave it at that until I asked her to cover it with more polish so it didn't immediately chip. She only covered 3/4 of my nail as she was fixing it, so now I have a ridge between the old and new polish. Not the best or worst looking mani, the experience just left a lot to be desired. The pedicure was fairly standard, however she barely touched my winter calluses (which is the sole reason I get pedicures in the winter). She gave a great foot massage (hit a lot of pressure points) so that was lovely. I know they were understaffed today so I don't think she had the time she normally would have, just disappointing for a total bill of $87 + tip. My bff goes here all the time and has never had an issue, so take this with a grain of salt! Update: not even a week later and I have two chips and 8/10 of my nails are peeling up at the sides.
