My daughter had an appointment and we were told she needed an X-ray. Got the order in hand, and went downstairs. Checked in (as a walk-in), and was called in about ten minutes later. My husband got up to pay the copay at the front desk while I walked my 7 year old to the back. They sat her down, took a pic of her hand, and walked us out. I walk out, and my husband was still in the middle of paying the copay! That's how fast this was! In and out.

I was incredibly upset and frustrated with this clinic. It took them 8 days to send my prescription refill to my pharmacy. My pharmacy tried to contact them every day electronically, fax and even personally called them a couple of times to get my prescription filled. I also called them everyday to no avail. I finally went to the clinic to talk to them directly only to be given the run around and still they didn't send my prescription refill to my pharmacy. Seeing how frustrated I was, the front desk person said to me that it's nothing personal and they treat every patient the same. If true, then I think this is a red flag for all their patients. The staff didn't really care and wouldn't go out of their way to help you. The prescriptions I needed filled were for my diabetes and high blood pressure. I'm lucky that I didn't go into a diabetic coma or have a stroke for going without my prescriptions for a couple of days. I filed a grievance with my insurance against this clinic. I wasn't about to go through this again with them when I need my prescription refilled next time. So I contacted my former PCP and ask if they were back with my medical group. They said yes and I quickly called my insurance to switch back. Never again will I got to Family Health Care Clinic.

Again, their system asked me to check-in, and today, 45 minutes before my appointment, they called me to tell me they were out of that vaccine, that they had used the last one.
