My ukelele is a soprano, a great beginner ukelele I was practicing with, got it for $75 with tax and a carrying bag included in my purchase, if I remember correctly, tag price was $69.99 I did ask if there was something similar to a brand/type of ukelele I started my practice with but I was then getting sold onto the more expensive pieces that I didn't have experience with and didn't ask for so that was a miss for me. Wish I got more of a relevant recommendation but the workers were sweet, they let us browse by ourselves for a good amount of time before stepping in (which good for me because I needed time to think, compare, and browse). When we went, there were a handful of other customers inside the store, it's located in a small shopping center but the store is bigger inside than it appears on the outside. The parking situation was just okay, not bad, could use a tad bit more space, we went ~1p the parking lot was full minus 2-3 spots but I noticed cars came and went from the time we got there until we left so it seems like there's a couple spots free at any given time due to the traffic coming in and out for small errands. Lots of instruments and accessories to be found inside and the workers seem to be happy to help find what is needed! Pretty well organized inside to find what you need on your own though, I was able to find the ukeleles quickly.

With the patient guidance of Mr. and Mrs. Calder, she was able to come out of her shell and became more responsible and outgoing. One of the main reasons is that Mr. and Mrs. Calder treat them as adults. They give them the freedom to do things, set boundaries and limits and let them know the consequence. Once my daughter forgot to wake up and miss the gathering time, she and her roommate had to stay in the hotel. That is a good lesson for her because there are consequences to every action. From then on, they know that they have to be on time. I believe that they did the right thing and they help my daughter to be responsible and behave like an adult. Another highlight of the trip is that they have a performance exchange with the China Disabled Troupe. My daughter was dumbfounded when she saw all the performers having different levels of handicapped were able to overcome their physical limitations and perform to their best of abilities. They are sometimes better than the professionals. This experience has changed her totally. She thought if they can overcome life's obstacles, there is nothing an abled person can't do. She began to think how she can use her gifts and talents to do something for herself and others. That is a true turning point for a teenager. I have to thank Mr. and Mrs. Calder for their dedication over their years. They have inspired my daughter to see things from a different perspective.

Additionally, Nina is very professional, having both her Bachelor's and Master's degree from top music schools in Piano major. We can make sure that my daughter's talent won't be ruined by those piano teachers who didn't have much professional training before and just teach for money ending up destroying children's potential piano careers. We are so blessed that we met Nina and have her to be my little girl's piano teacher. We are very happy with our purchase from Silicon Valley Piano. Last Labor day weekend Sunday, we bought a Yamaha piano for our daughter since she has been using a keyboard for almost two years. She needed a real piano. A sales lady assisted me and she plays the piano very well. She kindly showed us different kinds of pianos and we felt no pressure of buying, but we chose a professional model U3A. The price was competitive and the piano is in great condition like a brand new. The warranty is 5 years and she gave us upgrade to an artist chair. There are two showrooms split by a driveway and we had to go back and forth, but other than that, we are pretty happy with this company. read more

In the heart of Silicon Valley and conveniently close to highway 85, Silicon Valley Piano has a wide selection of new and used pianos for sale and for rent. Growing up, my parents had a Yamaha piano, while my piano teacher had a Steinway piano. But I was not aware of Bechstein pianos, which apparently is only sold at this store in the Bay Area! The staff at this store have excellent customer service!They are very knowledgeable with their selection of pianos and made great recommendations for me based on my priorities and budget. I think it is reasonable and decent service. I heard good things about this company, so we visited them a couple of days ago. My sales person seems to know about the instrument very well and had a good vibe. I am still searching for a good piano and visited other piano stores also. I got a price quotes from them, but I think Silicon Valley piano price is reasonable and workers were friendly there. The first time we went, there were only a couple pianos left but the second time we went, there was a lot more choices because he just got a new shipment. After deciding on a refurbished Yamaha U3, he was able to email us a payment link. (He does charge a small fee for credit card use) They were able to deliver the piano the following week and the movers wore face masks and helped us move it to the location we wanted.

It looks like a one-man business and the owner was very nice helping me carry it to the car and throwing in a few beginner piano books for free. They don't do credit cards- only cash or check.

I was looking for a baby grand piano with my little budget…read more I checked several pianos, however, the cheaper ones , I really can't stand for the sound. The one I likes, well, including looking , as well as the sound, they are all over $10k. Then I found Frank. He said he has a Kawai GM10 baby grand, 2004. But the previous owner seldom played it ( less than 200 hrs). I "test drive" it, the sound was really amazing! During the whole visiting, Frank was so patient to answer my questions, and responding to the private message quickly, too. He help arrange the moving for my 650 lbs Kawai. Everything moved smoothly, and the piano arrived my home safely. Love my piano ~ same as my son.
