Yesterday I saw Dr. Hagshenas because one of my crowns came off when I was flossing. He immedeately had x-rays taken which revealed that there was decay under the tooth and also the tooth next to it needed treatment. Things I thought were going alright when I was starting the process of getting the All-in-4. Of course I had many questions... it's such a huge cost and investment, but needed in my eyes. I was and still am incredibly nervous and uncertain, so had many questions and just needed reassurance. After meeting a second time, still wanting to proceed so did set up a pre-appointment to do all the ppw and everything. Then got a email/letter that said the doctor wasn't comfortable moving forward because I had asked so many questions and seemed more focus on cost and warranties, and not trustful of him or his staff. If you're looking for a review regarding implants, extractions, and crowns then please read this. I'm a 35 year old that's an ICU RN. I feel that my history plays a role on my outlook of my experience. I had an accident that resulted in losing 4 teeth. I lost 3 in the lower front and 1 upper Canine. This requires me to have 3 teeth extracted, 3 implants placed, and 1 crown. I had braces in the past so I had a very nice smile. It was like living a nightmare. You know, one of those where you lose your teeth in your dream, wake up, and say "oh thank god". When this first happened all i could think was how my smile was forever lost. Dr. HagShenas was one of many dentists and surgeons that I got opinions from for interventions and treatment options. Most of the opinions that I received were very similar if not spot on. What stood out and made me choose Dr. H was the amount of time he spent explaining my case and his bedside manner. On my first appointment we looked at my X-rays together on the large monitor. He took his time and was very meticulous examining all the damaged teeth and root's. He must have spent at least 30-45 min explaining what he saw and what our plan would be IF I chose to move forward with him. He was extremely patient with all of my questions, and I had a lot. Not once did I feel rushed and I know I exceeded my anticipated appointment time. I felt that he spoke to me like I was a family member. I was instilled with trust and confidence that Dr H wouldn't treat me as just "another patient", but Instead that he would take his time, and perform the best work possible like I was family. I believed that if something didn't turn out the way he expected or wanted that he wouldn't stop until he reached that expectation. This was a stressful experience but Dr H and the whole staff definitely made me feel as comfortable and confident with my decision as humanly possible. My final result came out beautifully. I have my smile back. People constantly comment on how nice of a smile I have and not a single person knows I had any work done unless I tell them. I came hear for a consultation in mid November.. I have double wisdom teeth and needed 8 pulled... the consultation went great so I thought. During the consultation I made it very very clear im afraid of dental work and would like to not feel a thing or see a thing or hear a thing during my wisdom teeth removal.. this was my 3rd opinion and the 2 previous both insisted I get put under general anesthesia and they explained it to me... silican valley smiles enformed me I would be under sedation.. but what they didn't tell me was what kind.. I thought we were both on the same page and GENERAL ANESTHESIA would be used... my appointment was for Jan 12 2021.. day prior I called to just get a lil more info..and im told I actually will just get a pill and I won't get general anesthesia this is the 1st time I'm being told this 24 hours before my actual appointment. the pill is bacically Conscious sedation EXACTLY WHAT I DIDNT WANT !!!!... That night before my apointment I pondered it over and I mentally desided to reschedule and do it the way I wanted with general anesthesia.. let me just say this, a Dr is suppose to make ya feel comfortable and ya suppose to feel good and worry free.. after trying to reschedule I got a very very very unprofessional text from them.... to the staff ...take the time to explain peoples options !!!!.. tell them the difference between general anesthesia..local anesthesia.. and conscious sedation... the best part was this.. they messed up and would not let me rebook another appointment unless I paid in full prior... thats right they wanted me to pay fully prior cause they didn't disclose to me the proper info.. had ya told me during my consultation it was gonna be a pill I would have stopped and said that's not gonna work for me and we could have got it right then and there.... long story short what a compleate waste of my time that was.. instead of being done with this and having my teeth removed and healing... im back to square one... again to the people at this office please go over everything with people and give them there options dont just pick conscious sedation for people.. again that text is extreamly unprofessional read more

Let's be honest, nobody likes going to the dentist... but SVSS is as good as it gets. The staff is very friendly but more importantly, they are extremely skilled and thorough. My teeth have literally never been so clean. Dr. H is also passionate and careful with his work. He is never pushy and will form treatment plans with you, instead of for you. I had my gum recession corrected with the pinhole method by Dr H and am very pleased with the results. He followed up closely, and even offered me weekly cleanings to help with stains incurred by the antimicrobial mouthwash. He also gave me a longer recovery timeframe and more detailed transition to normal dental care (brushing, flossing) compared to my friends who have had similar procedures. Dr. HagShenas is a WONDERFUL dentist who has always done a great job on my teeth. Unlike others opinions, he has never tried to sell me anything and only recommends what he thinks is best. This required sedation and 3 weeks of stitches in order for proper healing. I was prepped very well by the staff and given both pre and post surgery instructions. The location --- it's deeper in Campbell so give yourself some extra time if you're coming from San Jose. It's in a big brown building so keep an eye out for it ;) The staff --- extremely attentive, passionate, and nice all around. I was a day late on pre-paying for my wisdom teeth extractions to get that discount and they still gave me the courtesy :) They text you to follow-up and remind you on your appointments too! The office -- very clean and modern technology is used! You can even listen to Pandora or watch Netflix during your dental appointments Dr. Amir --- again, no words can express how amazing he is. I was flossing at 7AM on a Tuesday, and the floss got stuck. Trying to pull it out, I heard a sudden CRACK. Uh oh. Bye-bye cheap composite filling. I called and was in the chair at 10AM. short update: I am just back from the root canal specialist and he basically confirmed that the most likely why the nerve got infected is because of poor fit of a temporary crown. LADIES, don't trust him your smile, use his service for small dental work, but never consider him as your one-stop dentist for a beautiful smile. I am sharing my very expensive lesson with you as I know that he is a great sales person. He can actually sell snow in Alaska. But think twice. I am now taking antibiotics, still in pain and very disappointed with results. When I decided to change dentists I was very disappointed in the service that I was receiving. I felt that my prior dentist wasn't paying attention to what I needed and didn't really care. Dr Hagshenas is the best dentist I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few. Due to a bad experience I had a while ago, I now have dental phobias. Because of this, I've bounced from dentist to dentist and now will only see dentists who offer sedation which is how I came upon SVSS. I had a simple teeth cleaning appointment and Stephanie booked my appointment. Unfortunately I couldn't make it the first time. She promptly rescheduled me for another day with an email confirmation. Very professionally done. When I came in today Michelle did the cleaning. She was very careful with everything. She kept asking me if I was comfortable and carefully cleaned my teeth.
