I was in the Paterson area and decided to visit the falls. I remembered there was a new cafe that opened up near the falls that I saw on instagram and decided to pay a visit. The cafe is about a 4 min walk (depending on which side of the falls you're facing). Seems very family friendly, staff was super nice and welcoming, prices seemed affordable and had great options. I ordered the mint lemonade and it was delicious. They had a display of gummy desserts too. Can't wait to try their food next time. They also have parking which is a plus!

New cafe that just opened up in Paterson. They have parking which is great. They are near the Great Falls so you can grab a drink and take a walk. They have plenty of seating inside. I got a pistachio latte iced and it was okay. I would like to return and explore more of their menu since they are new. Good service. Person taking the order pointed out the menu and let me know to order when I was ready.

Came in to get a iced latte to go. I got their silk city latte and was hoping I would be wowed. However I was not I really wanted to like this drink however truth is I didn't even finish it threw half of it away. For close to 9$ I was hoping it would be worth it but it was not. Gave this place three starts because I haven't tried the food and the pastries look good . Once I stop by again I'll def follow up.

Love the ambiance in the place, it's a good place to get work done or have a meeting. It's a truly a local gem. Food was good and the service was spectacular.

I ordered a large latte with cinnamon, a croissant for chocolate chip cookies and a heated cinnamon roll. All this took 20 minutes to get. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of people and took very long time to fulfill the order. Which was unfortunate because the coffee is actually pretty good, and it looks like they have a lot of events at this space that would be fun to come back to. Like a poetry open Mike game nights art painting. But the care in service leaves a lot to be desired. The cinnamon roll was soft and tasty and not overly sweet, which I appreciated and the chocolate chip cookies were also very good. the croissant was smashed inside the take away container as an afterthought and not with any care. This is something that I believe warrants attention by Management to train the staff. And waited essentially 25 minutes after ordering for

Ok, I retired from writing reviews but you know…read more.. I started this third-wave coffee journey after realizing I was mostly buying coffee from larger stores where the roast dates were usually two to three months old. One month old if I got lucky. And listen, there are some great third-wave coffee roasters on those shelves but the problem is freshness. At the time, I was deep into the pour-over coffee rabbit hole, and I kept passing this little coffee spot with a sign that basically said "Need more coffee? We roast it here," with arrows pointing down. And for some reason, I kept ignoring it. The sign wasn't fancy. It wasn't trying to be trendy. It didn't have the polished third-wave café aesthetic from the outside. It was just a simple roadside sign telling you exactly what mattered: they roast coffee here. Eventually I thought, "Wait a minute. If they're roasting coffee right here, why am I still buying bags from bigger stores with roast dates that are two to three months old?" So one day, I finally pulled in. Immediately - and I mean immediately - I realized I had completely judged this place wrong. This was a serious third-wave coffeehouse. And honestly, when you think about it, the sign is actually genius. A sinple sign that says "Need more coffee? We roast it here" is probably only going to attract people who actually care about proper coffee. Classic case of don't judge a book by its cover. Because now? I can't really get my coffee anywhere else. I've had some of the best coffees here. One year they had this Colombian Santa Maria light roast, high-elevation that totally changed my mind about Colombian coffees. I had always thought of Colombian coffees as more medium-roast, classic coffee profiles, but that one opened my eyes. Right now, they have this Fara Estate Nicaraguan light-medium roast that is absolutely delicious. They have a serious-looking pour-over setup with custom V60 holders and gooseneck kettle setup, so you can tell this is not just a place that sells coffee. This is a place that actually understands coffee. If you're the kind of person who checks roast dates, owns a V60, argues with yourself about grind size, or has ever fallen way too deep into the coffee rabbit hole, this place is worth stopping for. And if you're not that person yet, this might be the place that turns you into one.

Like a little reward for surviving life. I remember this place during COVID. Empty. Deserted. Sahara level emptiness. One heroic worker holding the line, staring into the void, still making coffee like a champion. Back then my go to was their coconut cold brew... which, thank God, is STILL on the menu. Do yourself a favor and try it. It got me through lockdown emotionally. And yes, I still went to coffee shops during lockdown, coffee was essential, don't argue with me. Fast forward to today and WOW. This place has absolutely blown up, in the best way. Every time I walk in now, there are people ordering, hanging out, working remotely, pretending they're writing novels, the whole vibe. Clearly they've got regulars, but the coolest part? The baristas still help you right away and don't make you feel like you interrupted their coffee cult meeting. Immediate love. No awkwardness. Honestly, between the decor, the people, the drinks, and how clean everything is, this place just gets it. It's warm, it's cool, it's consistent, and it somehow went from "COVID ghost town" to "community hub" without losing its soul. So no, it's not my everyday stop, but when I do come, I leave happier, caffeinated. They absolutely rock it.

Since Yemeni coffee and tea options aren't common for everyone, they take the time to explain the menu and answer questions, which I really appreciated. However, the Adeni Chai was the only saving grace of the visit. It was flavorful and well made, but the coffee was a massive disappointment. I tried the Jubani after the staff described it as a delicious light-roasted coffee packed with caffeine, but in reality, it tasted like bland cardamom water with absolutely no coffee flavor or body. It felt like I was just drinking hot spiced water. The atmosphere was also a major issue as there was no seating available whatsoever. The crowd was mostly of Middle Eastern descent and many were incredibly rude; people will bump right into you and not say a word. Even worse was the way some customers spoke to the workers, it was absolutely deplorable. Honestly, who raised you? It was uncomfortable to witness. The dessert selection was even worse. Most of what we ordered felt stale and old. The only thing worth eating was the bubble dessert with cheese because they actually toast it. We tried both the pistachio milk cake and the pistachio dream cake, and neither was impressive. The khattafi in the pistachio dream was the biggest letdown; it was so stale and bland I can't believe they actually put it out to sell when it was clearly weeks if not months old. The basboosa was also a disappointment, as it was a very small square of semolina cake for almost $5. Overall, It is not a good place for coffee or desserts, so if you do go, stick strictly to the Adeni chai.
