These ladies have been here for three years and this little cozy sandwich shop. The cheese stick is fantastic and my wife had the eggplant Parm, which she fell in love with. It's sad I only recently found them. My favorite part of the establishment not only the sandwiches is the golden girls lunchbox on top of the refrigerator. There's a little bit of New Jersey memorabilia all over the inside. It's a little touch of childhood. Give these ladies the opportunity to shine. Everyone deserves a swing. read more

So let me start off with I'm new to the area so to speak but I go to a gym around the corner. Always saw this place but never had the chance to go in, so glad I went in today! The 2 ladies there, I didn't ask but I think one was the owner but she makes all the salads herself. They were super friendly, prices in today's economy, were very reasonable but the quality was great! Looked super clean. I scarfed the chicken salad, Mac salad and best potato salad. Don't tell my mom! Highly recommend! They have plenty of parking, and you would miss it unless you do what I did and googled a deli in my area. I drove by this shop every day and decided that today was the day. Instantly knew I'd be back to try more before even ordering. After staring at the menu for much longer than I should be. Went there twice for a typical sandwich. Live within walking distance and have been searching for a good deli since Hugies Red Kettle closed down. Nothing great. Was heading to a bakery around the corner and saw this place. Decided to swing back after I went to the bakery. Upon entering the place has a greasy smell to it. Very small inside but the service was top notch. I ordered a THEC SPK. The sandwich was very good. Instead of the usual thick slices of Taylor Ham, they used 3 thin slices and cooked more well done, with which I love. The 2 eggs were plenty and cooked well. The cheese was nicely melted. The SPK was perfect. There wasn't anything wrong with the sandwich, locations or service. All was top notch in my book. I actually preferred the thinner slices. Ordered online and paid but when I arrived at the store 20 minutes later, they had not started my order. When I told them my name it was clear they never saw my online order. The food was ok, not great. The wrap was not fresh, had a stale taste. They also added extra charges to my credit card after I left and tipped them, the girls at the counter were unfriendly and not welcoming at all. I will never go back. She should really take some notes from the previous owner who ironically failed but made over the top amazing sandwiches with portions beyond belief but what the real problem is that is I came to this place which should be a real novelty in this town I live pretty close by And I ordered a triple Decker sandwich and buy no definition was it a triple Decker? It was extremely small portion and made incorrectly as if it was just a regular sandwich with two slices of bread, I'm going to show some photographs of what the guy before her used to do and hopefully she can take some advice and learn to do it this way. I work at The Senior Company right across the street and have been hearing my coworkers talk so highly of Hangry's. I also am a life long Totowa resident and was excited try. I loved how close it was and that I was able to walk on over during my lunch break. The ambience inside the shop was awesome, very rock themed which I absolutely loved all the posters and funkopops. Very friendly staff as well. I ordered the Hot Chick and tweaked it to be on a wrap and it was insanely good. The chicken was so crispy and filled the perfect amount. Ordered sandwiches for a party. Michelle made a great platter and color coded the toothpicks for easy selection. They have gluten free wraps that she kept separate as well. Everyone LOVED the subs. Michelle the owner is very accommodating and makes some delicious sandwiches. She is also caring and supports the kids in town through the PAL and the PTO. I stopped in yesterday for lunch. Ordered the Italiano Chicken hero. Grilled chicken cutlet, FRESH Mozzarella, roasted red peppers with balsamic vinaigrette. It was excellent and I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. I will definitely be back to try some more of their tasty food. read more
