GETTING HERE: Located on Victoria Avenue in Ventura at the 101 freeway. The 101 N onramp is literally next door to the Chevron. REVIEW: This is a recently remodeled Chevron, which now has a Rocket. Fresh, clean, updated, fully-stocked shelves, too. It's a win. The (lone) employee working was pretty chill. Friendly and personable and he wasn't playing on his cell phone when I entered the store! This was the start of a great visit! I needed to use the restroom (which was clean as well! The door requires a code which the employee readily provided to me.) I paid for some water and lotto and was headed on my way. I would recommend this Chevron + Rocket, and don't forget to use the Upside app (link in my bio) as they are one of the ^few Chevrons who use the Upside. What's with all these employees at 24h locations?! They're literally never open! The dude behind the counter always puts up a sign saying, "won't be open till 4am sorry for the inconvenience." Of course it's an inconvenience! We all see you buying things for yourself while you go to the back &enjoy some paid free time. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WORK OVERNIGHT DON'T GET A JOB AT 24h LOCATION!!!! Other people who actually work overnight need places like this to stay open! We rely on places like this so we can eat, drink and get gas all in one location! This is so frustrating! What a waste of time trying to guess when they're open! read more

Pretty clean and right off the highway! Coffee selection...okay creamer selection...is very limited. I passed on the coffee and will make another stop. But we were able to grab some gas and get back on the highway quickly. Win, win! read more

Chevron is located in a busy intersection where the 101 North and South entrances begin on Victoria. I prefer pumping gas at the Oxnard Chevron on Ventura road but since I frequent trips to Santa Barbara, this gas station is reasonably priced with easy access to the freeway :) Minus 1 star for the difficulty in trying to turn into the station as well as leaving it during rush hour times. read more

Perfectly fine gas station right off the freeway. I had actually been trying to get to another station but that one was having work done so I went to this one instead. Prices were fine, lots of pumps were available and the place looked clean. I didn't go inside the store or use the restroom as I was in a hurry, but it did what I needed. Oh, the buttons on the pump thingy were really insensitive and I had to mash them lots of times to get it to accept my zip code and "enter". That was a downside since I was running late already. read more

06/21/2020 8:00 AM I paid at the pump using my bank debit card which I expected to pay $3.39 per gallon on a 91 grade. The price however showed $3.49. Went inside the store and explained to the gentleman behind the counter. He then called another person (who was not the manager) and tried to figure out the issue. He then turned to me and said the price changed and they will need to change it (really???). I went back to the pump and for some reason it wouldn't pump gas, went back inside the store to ask if he somehow canceled the transactions, he said "he didn't do anything". Him and 2 other men were smirking like totally belittling me (at least that's how I felt at the time). I went back to the pump again and one of the men followed behind me and I showed what the pump said $3.49! He then said it will change to $3.39...again really??? I told him if I pump now, it will charge $3.49, he okay! Have a nice day! I said the same back to him and left without pumping gas into my car. This man (I believe he said his name was Roberto) will need to be reported along with the other men he was with in the store. I will be calling the Corporate Office and also send my complaint in writing. Be careful at this location and make sure you will be paying the correct price. read more

From last four or five years, Every other day I go to this gas station ( 2199 S Victoria Ave 93003 ) today I went inside to buy something, your cashier Crystal was very rude and impolite ( she jumped and get the super lotto ticket from my hand ) when I ask to talk to the manager she bend and show her batch with attitude said my name is Crystal, in a way " I don't care " and said manager is not here. I asked how can I talk to her, she mentioned some days of week you can call her ( without mention any phone no.) in cross street there is shell gas station , I prefer to go there because at least the employees over there are really polite and respect the customer. read more

I love Chevron...I go out of my way to use Chevron gas. This Chevron is right down the street from my house so its super easy for me to use. Its right next to the freeway so its not the cheapest Chevron in town, its usually one of the higher ones around. There is a Subway in the station as well if you need something to eat. The reason its only three stars is because of the employees. The last two or three times I have been there the person working behind the counter has been rude or indifferent to myself or other patrons. I know your working at a gas station and it isn't the best job in the world, but your gas is more expensive you might think the service would be a bit better. So if I need gas in a hurry and I am driving by I will go here, if not I hit up the one in Oxnard. :0) read more

I'm going to review this Chevron because I want the weird non-gas station related photo of some guy to go away from my "Next Review Awaits" list. I'm a Ventura native but I can't remember if this gas station was always here. I think not, but can't be sure. It's been so many years I've been away. It's really close to the Victoria Street exit off 101 which makes for a quick in and out even though you have to make a U turn to get to the north side of the street. I didn't need gas but I got a coffee pick-me-up from inside. The attendant was really nice and loves to chat! Plenty of condiments to flavor your coffee which despite the overall reputation of weak gas station coffee was plenty to get me up to Santa Barbara. Very clean inside and lots of parking. read more

If you've seen a Chevron, you've seen them all (except some variability in cleanliness and lot size). To be more statistically correct, I would rate this station 2.5 stars, but I can't so it's a 3 A-Ok with a standard deviation of 1 star weighted more heavily towards the lower limit. read more

Average prices on gas. Good bathrooms with a Subway attached. It has the extra mile food mart as well. This Chevron is easy to locate with the awesome and huge American flag flying over the freeway. Easy access on and off the freeway. They also accept Vons rewards for 20 cents off. read more

So for the last two and a half weeks these folks can't seem to get their pump credit and debit card machines fixed, you have to go inside and guess at your fill up amount so they can charge you inside! This is just poor business quality, they should put a closed sign out until they are fully up and running again. read more

I needed gas, but then ended up needing their help. Typical visit for gas and as I grabbed my gas card and the trash in my car, I accidentally dropped the gas card into their trash can. Of course I couldn't see it so I rushed inside for help. AJ came out searched, returned for the key to open the trash then to my relief he found gas card. My Wife bought gas here tonight. We are Vons Shoppers and as such get a $.20 discount at Chevron stations. The pump screens state $.20 discount, but the pump price is only reduced by $.10 When my wife confronted the person working there he said there was a small sign (somewhere??) notifying customers of the difference in their discount. This is totally cheating and dishonest business. Vons pays the difference and this guy is taking the difference. On top of this he was completely rude to my wife. Stay away from cheaters. Who knows what other things they are cheating customers out of. Every other Chevron I've been to seems to be playing by the rules. read more

Supposedly open 24 hours. I arrived around 3:15 am from a long road trip. The only sign on the door read 'Open 24 hours'. Finding the door locked I peered inside to see an employee standing by the cash register rocking his head back and forth obviously rocking out oblivious to any customers requiring attention. I knocked on the window and he gave me the two hands sign indicating 10 minutes. Believing him, I proceeded to wait as he ignored other requests and after 10 minutes I knocked again. SO rude, the people that work there. I was having trouble with my pump and went in to ask the attendant a question and he interrupted/talked over me continuously until I got upset about it and left. Why do grown men have zero manners... especially working in CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not being able to get a single word out resulted in their loss of my business. I would like to give this Zero stars, but not allowed. I have never written a bad review, but thought I should warn my Ventura community. Do not use the Western Union at this gas station no one is trained properly!!! Including the "Manager"!! We had an urgent problem and sent money, we had to change something and called the Western Union customer service, they said the change could only be made from where you purchased the money transfer. When we went back no one at Chevron knew how to call the Western Union customer service line and provide them with the information needed to make the change. Long story short we went to another Western Union and they were able to call the customer service line and complete the change, in a matter of minutes. I will never use Western Union again either; they gave us bad information from the start and created a 2 1/2 hour problem! Chevron made it worse by not knowing anything about Western Union! Why provide a service if you are not prepared to actually do it?! I won't even by sandwiches from subway here again; they have lost my business totally!!! read more
