It wasn't what I was looking since I was looking for someone I could trust to make repairs to pieces that were very special to me. I don't want to walk in to drop off my jewelry with one person, not ever know who would be working on it and pick it up with someone else. I found Latif's Jewelry through reviews online. No matter which site I looked at all the reviews were amazing. Great customer service, warm and family owned. These were all the things I was looking for. I reached out and Vali at the store answered all of my questions and was the one who greeted me warmly when I walked in the store. I was there to have my diamond ring repaired as the stone was spinning in the setting. Vali had the Jeweler, Jay come inspect it and he immediately got to work on it. I was shocked that he would take the time to do it right then and there, especially for a new customer. I had a special request for him while he worked on it and he was so accommodating. He was able to repair it and have it back to me while I waited. I had also brought a watch to have the battery replaced so in left that and returned today to pick it up. Jay came out to greet me and deliver the piece. These were pieces owned by my mother, who is no longer with us, so I had a deep emotional connection to them. When I went to pick them up, they confirmed they were in fact vintage Baltic amber and provided me with the valuation. Caesar, who works there, fell in love with one of the necklaces and made me an offer. Bruce Keno's wife had seen them as well and fell in love with another. Bruce decided to purchase that one for his wife! Knowing that two of the three necklaces that had been loved by my mother would continue to be worn/used by people who truly appreciated them, literally brought tears to my eyes!
