My grandmother left me 2 beautiful rings that I've never been able to wear because they were too big and I was always afraid they'd slip off and I'd lose them forever. Because of their sentimental value, I really hesitated bringing them to someone to get resized. The lovely ladies at Zargon Jewelers put me completely at ease - you can tell they really know what they're doing! I dropped my rings off on a Saturday and they were ready to be picked up on Tuesday. I don't watch US-based news, in fact, I don't even have cable, but I couldn't help but notice the Middle East was causing the gold prices to go through the roof. The prices were actually the highest they were in the last eight years. So I decided to get rid of some gold I had sitting around for years. But before I came to Zargon Jewelers I went to three different jewelers in three counties. While I was at all three of these Jewelers, I just stayed quiet and played dumb to see if they had any honesty and integrity in them, which the 2nd and 3rd obviously did not. I wanted to check two more places, so while I was grubbing at Wholefoods in Davie I yelped for gold buyers in the area, that's when I found Zargon Jewelers. I called them on my cellphone and a pleasant woman said they buy the gold and the imbedded gemstones if they're of value. I was there in less than 5 minutes as they were just down the street. When I arrived I was pleasantly greeted by the employee and the owner. The owner is a darling a total sweetheart, she looked over my jewelry and then took it to her desk to evaluate it. While she was checking out my jewelry I was looking around her store and I was quite impressed. They had something for everyone, whether you're royalty from Europe, young newlyweds, looking for antiques, or looking for something affordable, or even spiritual jewelry, they had it all. They didn't just have a wide assortment of new, antique, vintage, & handcrafted unique jewelry, but also unique creative gifts. When she returned she gave me a price I couldn't refuse, but I still left to check one other place. But while I was on the I-95, I just turned my car back around and came back to Zargon Jewelers. I think I stayed there for about an hour as we got into a huge discussion about natural health. I truly loved my experience at this store and would recommend it to anyone. Again I will state one more time, I went to three different Jewelers from Palm Beach to Miami, and none of them offered for me what Zargon Jewelers did, nor were they professional. So my advice is to do your homework as I did, but I guarantee you're going to end up at Zargon Jewelers in the end. They also do Jewelry & Watch repair. I had some old pieces of jewelry I wanted to get rid of. I was unsure of how to go about this, and if I needed to remove the stones or even if all of the pieces were genuine. I called and the woman that answered told me to just bring them in as is, so I did. I was greeted by 3 lovely ladies, including the owner Debi. She quickly, looked over all of my pieces and bought them stones and all. I believe she gave me a fair price for items just wasting away in my drawer. While she evaluated my items, I enjoyed strolling thru the store, and resisted the urge to pick up yet another piece. They have a wide variety of items sure to please. This was the first time I stepped foot in a jewelry store, it was to get an engagement ring resized. The ladies here were so welcoming and accommodating when I first walked in and I was kind of on a time crunch to get the ring resized but they were able to work with me and we got it done in time, which was a huge sigh of relief. From beginning to end, they were so nice and helpful, it was a wonderful experience and will be going to them for future jewelry repairs and modifications. They even let me look at the diamond through a magnifier and explained to me the difference between a real and fake diamond which I thought was the coolest thing ever. I can't say enough great things about Zargon jewelers. The service is phenomenal and their work is impeccable. I have 6 pieces of jewelry I've either purchased or had custom made there, and each one is perfection. Most recently I went in to update my wedding ring. I am a super picky/indecisive pain in the butt! They were accommodating and so patient with me. Once I finally picked a setting (after changing my mind 4 times), I was SHOCKED when Debi let me know it was ready for pickup the very next day! It is stunning, I can't even believe it's mine. I do not know where to begin with this store. Please please please read this review so you don't end up as traumatized as we are. I went into this store based on reviews that now seems quite fake to me. I just went to get my brand-new engagement ring resized at a local store. I walked in there and was seen by the owner Debi who measured me to be a 6.75. I truly wanted a 7 that way I had room, but she was adamant about me being a 6.75 and said "ok we are done I'll call you when ready" not even giving me a chance to express my concerns or ask questions. Not even 30 minutes go by and I get a call to say I am sorry we cut you off earlier was there something else you wanted to tell us. Anyway, I get a call the next day to come and get the ring which I was very surprised because such a well-known jewelry store shouldn't It take a few days if they have so much work? I come in the next day to get a ring back that is a size 4. Debi (owner) right away panicked and admitted she made a mistake by putting 4 on the envelope instead. They kept the ring promising me it will be fixed by tomorrow and I would not even notice the adjustment. The next day I went in with my fiancé that way I had a second opinion and the adjustment was that obvious that our nails got stuck in the bridge part at the bottom. It was like they did not even try to smooth it out enough before handing it to me. Once again kept it promising me it will be smoothed out by tomorrow. When we go back the next day the gap was still obvious and the band now had a different shape, but if that was not enough the thickness of the band at the bottom completely changed it was extremely thin. Debi got very frustrated because I refused to accept that ring back and she expected me to settle. How can she be upset when she brought this upon herself as an owner shouldn't you be more understanding and compassionate to the client that you ruined a ring that had sentimental value. It was obvious she no longer wanted to deal with us, but I felt she needed to make this right. She gave me a brand new band similar to my original one....I really just wanted her to pay me out on my original band that way I can get it from the same place. I brought the paperwork for her to see the value of it. She insisted she can make it work with the band she was providing me. I once again decided to trust her telling her that please take your time do not rush this one once again. After a week we went back to find a ring completely different she did not mount it the way it was explained to us. They switch the angle of the post making it look different and the notch was a poor job. I decided to just pick it up and get a second opinion from a different store. That store told me the diamond was not sitting straight and the notch was not the best work they could've done. After a few days my fiancé and I decided to just let it go and we'll upgrade my ring later on...which is not really fair because I never asked for this to happen to my ring. After having the ring back for 2 weeks a week a diamond fell off the brand new band they provided me with. My fiancé decided it was on them to fix this issue and brought it back in. The owner once again helped him out but was quick to jump to conclusions and had the audacity to say it is because I banged it on something. Shouldn't a brand-new band be a bit more durable? I mean I was going to the gym with my previous one and nothing ever happened. Debi (owner) was extremely unprofessional I have no words for this lady. What a disappointment this store was and the owner. Blaming us for not wanting to settle for a ring that did not even look like mine anymore. She took that sentimental value away from me. I am sorry but it was your mistake you cannot get mad at the customer. Anyway, I hope people can learn from our mistake by going here. I want to find a way to raise awareness on this awful jewelry scamming store. A month after fixing the diamond on the band it fell back off. I didn't even bother going back to waste my time and be treated poorly. We're going to visit a different jewelry store and purchase a new ring. So sad this is what happened but please don't trust them! read more

I was not pleased with this jewelry store because I felt they really misled me. My engagement ring has been broken and I have not worn it for years. I suspected it would be very expensive to fix so when I was ready I went for some estimates. The first estimate was very expensive. I then went to Zargon. Debbie, the owner was very personable, examined the ring, and quoted a very fair price. I was so excited at the prospect of getting my ring back! Debbie did say the job might take a while because it needed a lot of work. After more than a week I called. I did not have my ticket handy and the person said she would have to call me back. When she finally called back, this person said that the jeweler was in a car accident so the ring would take even longer. They could not even give me a date. The next week I finally get a call from Debbie saying they could not fix my ring because it was so damaged. They had the ring for weeks. Why did it take them so long to discover this? So what happens when I go to pick up the ring? They try to sell me a new setting! Since then, I have been told by another jeweler that indeed, the ring can be fixed. In the end, I have decided to get a new setting, but it will not be at Zargon. I was not impressed with their sales tactics. Moreover, I was not really impressed with the selection of fine jewelry there. There seems to be a lot more costume jewelry and some of that is interesting. However, for an extensive selection of fine jewelry or repairs, I would go elsewhere. read more

I've had jewelry repaired and bought gifts and jewelry that are so lovely from Debbie and Gigi, and I always enjoy them and their store when I visit. The latest piece de resistance was a reconstruction of my wedding band with little diamonds. The band looked like it had melted onto the diamonds and obscured some of them and some of the diamonds had fallen out. Debbie found a ring and had the diamonds reset.
