We had just been in our home about 1 year and Colten and Tyke came to our door offering a free roof inspection. The house we bought was older and in need of some repair but our house inspector told us the roof should be good for a few more years. I accepted Colten and Tyke's offer to inspect the roof and they found numerous hail damage points, that the inspector failed to recognize . We contacted our insurance and an adjuster worked with Colten and Tyke to assess the damage and come up with a plan to repair the 3 roofs ( house, pump house and detached 2 1/2 car garage. Colten also found that a sky light was in need of repair as well as no ventilation vents on the roof of the detached garage,and they completed all the work far beyond our expectations using updated materials and supplies.. They worked with my wife to establish a roof color that accented the stone veneer front and sides of the house.They do not cut any corners in their repair process and we found them all highly creditable and honest. We are so happy we went with Silver Creek! We initially worked Dylan, and through the whole process he and his boss Matt treated us amazing. Going above and beyond every chance they could! Not only did they do a great job on our roof, they gave us an amazing deal on our gutters, and even hauled off some scrap wood from a recent storm all for free! I briefly mentioned I had been trying to get rid of my pile of brush/wood for months and when I came out, the brush was all gone. They did an amazing job cleaning up their site. I didn't find a single nail! They also protected all of our plants and put tarps down on the sides of the house to catch debris (never had previous roofers do any of this). They also completed the job in half a day. Through the whole process they (specifically Dylan) were super responsive and updated us every step of the way. After calling my insurance company about needing a new roof from hail damage and only getting one small part of it paid for I called SCEC and talked with Colten. Colten came out took pictures wrote up a report and sent it to my insurance company, this time not only did I get my roof covered but also most of the gutters. Then SCEC did the work in one of wettest months in the year and always made sure my home would stay dry inside. Colten always did what he said he would do and on the day he said he would do it. It saddens me to write this because I feel, at one time, Silver Creek Exterior & Construction was a good company...perhaps, looking at the date of the reviews, they haven't been one since 2020. I could post all the communications but that would take way too much time and I don't suspect Colton would like me to. I should have known something was sketchy when my neighbor did not use them the second time they had their roof replaced.
