I was in the area for a doctors appointment and the nurse suggested I came here for breakfast. The decorations for this palce was so so cute. Their menu is extensiveeee. I could not decide what to order and was so surprised how many items they have and the diversity of it all. However my experience was okay. I ordered the challah french toast with cofffee. It was okay. My french toast was a little bland. It was good but felt something was missing. The service was my biggest pet peeve. My server was nice, but nowhere to be found when I needed something. At one point, I literally stood up looking around the dining room trying to find them because I was ready to pay but couldn't find them. I ate brunch with a colleague this past Sunday. The restaurant was very busy! The server was fairly attentive, though she disappeared at some point while we waiting for the check. I ordered the summer special, Green Goddess Lobster Salad. It was amazing! It's made with summer greens, local goat cheese, berries, radishes, Green Goddess dressing, pistachios and pomegranates. We recently tried Silver Diner at BWI, and only a few weeks ago realized there was one not too far from our house so we decided to go for an early dinner. Our server was lovely, and the food was so good! We shared the crispy Brussels sprouts, I got a peach soda and my boyfriend got a creamsicle, and then for dinner I got the Philly cheese steak and he got the fish and chips. Our favorite was the Brussels sprouts- they were crispy, and had such a good sauce (that wasn't spicy thank goodness). We both loved our sodas. My cheese steak was really good, but in my opinion far too many onions so next time I'd ask for light onion. He really enjoyed the fish and chips as well, but noted the batter for the fish wasn't the traditional light and fluffy batter. It was different- but good! Also to note- the portion sizes are huge! Food was ok today. I placed my order online and the pickup time said 12:01. I arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before my pickup time and my food was already sitting waiting for me- which was good. I checked my food out before I left due to having issues here before, everything seemed to be ok. I get home which is less than 5 minutes away, and my food was cold. It wasn't even like warm. It seemed as if it had been sitting h too long and my food lost its quality. Also, I had no plasticware and only 1 syrup but 5 or 6 packs of ketchup. I have been eating at this silver diner for years. I'v tried the turkey burger, beyond meat smash burger , chicken noodle soup, the chicken pot pie, and the new crab melt. All were good but the crab cake melt is by far my favorite. I've ordered it numerous times. They give you like a lobster au jus sauce to dip it in and it takes the sandwich to another level. The steak & eggs was two generous pieces of breaded steak, with sausage gravy, cage-free Amish eggs, home fries, and a buttermilk biscuit. I had my eggs over medium. Only complaint is they ran out of biscuits and it took about 15-20 mins. Our server, Pricilla, made up for our rocky start with her pleasant smile and accommodating demeanor. There is a lot of space inside and the booths are styled like a classic diner with jukebox radios that work with a quarter to request selected music to play across the diner. The menu was filled with options. I ordered the Bay Benedict, which was an eggs Benedict but with crab meat and some spinach and corn - so so good! It came with a side of fruits which complemented the dish. I also tried the Lamb merguez shakshuka which was so tasty and had somesmb sausage in the shakshuka sauce with pomegranates and eggs. The portions were also quite generous so I had a little leftover that I took home with me. The service was great. Easily my favorite diner and location! The menu has so many options without being overwhelming, and no matter what kind of diet I'm on (or not on), there's always something great to eat. Their shakshuka with burrata is hands down one of my favorite breakfast dishes ever. I've had so many different things from here--the salmon salads, bleu cheese burgers, meatloaf, and even the wings (which totally hit the spot on Super Bowl Sunday). And when I wanted just a little birthday cake this year, I treated myself to a slice of their chocolate cake, and it was perfect. Also, their milkshakes? Elite.
