Silver Diner has always been a solid go to for our family. We've been to multiple locations through out the DMV. But I'll just make this short review about a take out order I had last Wednesday. I had a taste for some kind of fruit pie or cobbler and it was too late to make something that time of night. So I came on old faithful yelp and looked for some options. Silver Diner was the first option. It ended up being a great choice. Service was quick and the pie was perfect . Ive also visited on a Saturday morning for breakfast with my toddler and had a great experience then as well. I'm happy to know that I'm right around the corner from such a reliable , high quality option that is open late as well.

My experience was so amazing! Haven't been here in years and they have upgraded so much and the customer service experience was Ahhhmazin! Food was Ahhmazing and fresh and I really enjoyed it and ended going back 2 days later at night food was fresh eggs just thrown together with ripped cheese Waiter was nice and friendly manager was helpful! Sossa Sossy was my waitress and she is such a darling! And really interacted with me and asked if I have been before she went over and beyond to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed! Because of her customer service and fresh food I'll always remember and keep coming back! The manager Joy she was on Deck! Making sure checking in with people's satisfaction and we really just felt seen and appreciated for coming in. Now there prices have changed to, I'm telling you just them two alone will make you forget about the prices frfr! Please give Sossa a bonus she deserves it ! She is sweet and kind and deserves the best, and has made me a repeat customer. I'm going back today lol - Get the steak and eggs the chimmi churri is YUMMY ! It's just a different vibe and a different freshness! And them Pancakes are just how I LOVEEE them which is hard to find in other places light crisp on outside soft and fluffy on inside !!! And 1 thing I did not like was that now they have pancakes on the side they DO NOT come with the meals like they use to, 1 pancake is 2.49$ 2pancakes 7.49$ and 3 pancakes 10.99$ is what I was told on my second visit which didn't make since but just check because most the meals come with just a biscuit and fruit now

I was in a hurry today and solo so Sat at the bar today to get in and out quickly! Was greeted fast and food was out in like 5-10 min! Sitting at the bar is interesting you become almost part of the diner inherent chaos (the charm of a diner) . The teamwork if getting food out fast was fun to watch real time. Servers helping each other to ensure everyone got hot food as soon as ready was nice to see. Start to finish was out if there in under 25! Had to post again cause the bar experience was new to me.

The "silver" diner was very shiny outside and inside. I really enjoyed that part of the experience. It was so clean. There's a small jukebox box machine at the table. That was a serious blast from the past. We got in 45 minutes before close and were served quickly. My medium well steak was still a little pink inside. However, it wasn't bleeding and was so tender. I can't complain. While the Brussels sprouts look unimpressive they tasted great! I didn't care for the crunchy onions or the garlic spinach really. Something of note was that, when I asked for substitutions, there was no hesitation. I've experienced at other restaurants this can really be an issue. There were lots of good menu choices. I will visit again. I held back a star because, while we got in under the wire, other customer was turned away at 20 minutes before close by one individual then someone else came much closer to close and a different employee welcomed them in. If we're turning people away. We need to be on one accord.

Love the ambiance of this place. I've always like the feel of diners from the past and this place fully embodies it. The waitress that we had was attentive and quick with our service. We ordered the country fried steak and eggs, grilled cheese with ham, and a kids chicken tenders. All the food was delicious generously portioned and temperature was right out of the kitchen. I 100% recommend this place!

Love me some Silver diner! Me and my husband came here for a date day brunch. I always try avocado toast everywhere I go to see what's different from restaurant to restaurant and I loved the micro greens on top of theirs! They also made the perfectttttt over medium egg . My husband loved his entree I forgot the name of what he ordered but he inhaled it in about 4 minutes . Wait staff was punctual and professional, and we will be back

I've been a few times, the food never tastes the same. My last visit I really enjoyed my food and the customer service was amazing. This time I wasn't given butter or syrup with my meal. I also asked for hot sauce and didn't get it. I had to wait several minutes before getting someone's attention who did give me the items needed right away and asked if we needed anything else. I was really looking forward to my meal after it tasting so good the last time just to be disappointed with the taste and customer service from our server.

We got take out so I won't be able to speak on service or ambiance, but the food I can! We got the Philly steak omelette and the Kickin short rib burger. I asked for a lettuce wrap on that burger and they did it and it was FANTASTIC! Literally one of the best burgers I've ever had for takeout. The omelette was good but next to that burger it was hard for it to be great haha. The potatoes on the side of the omelette were a little lack luster as well, on the dry side and not very flavorful. Over all good meal though!

Dirty headboards or whatever they are called. And just old. The staff try. They do. Give them something better!!!

Rating on service and food options only. This place needs major renovations!! I can't sit in here more than 30 minutes. I don't look up or around. Springfield, VA Silver Diner was renovated, pleasssse. Blow up this one and start over!!

I'm disappointed ... that I don't find myself on this stretch of road, so I could eat here more!! When you're on the road 250+ days a year like I am, you have certain "go to" meals. For breakfast, mine is corned beef hash. And the corn beef hash here is absolutely the best anywhere I've ever had, tasty and flavorful and amazing. The biscuits are perfect. And the tropical mimosa was mind-boggling. It was so good. I love the place. I just wish I had more reason to be in this area of the state.

Southwest turkey club. Came with fries and coleslaw.

We stopped at this location to have an early dinner. We were promptly greeted and seated. The dining room was not busy. We decided on the bacon blue burger and the southwest club sandwich. Food was tasty, fries were served nice and hot. Shout out to Joel!!! He provided quick, great, and efficient service. Very personable. We will return to try other dishes.

When we first moved here, we were looking for another diner for our weekly breakfast dates and love silver diner! The staff is friendly and the food is good.

How do the jukeboxes work? Should I bring quarters?

Yes bring quarters. The play list is various genres.... Not just from the 50's and 60's. They songs are played in order as a first come first serve. If no one feeds the jukebox and picks music then nothing is played.

The owners had a bright and friendly disposition with every single person that came in, and for those they knew, they took the time to interact with them. It said it came with a side of greens instead I received a bunch of over salted cubed potatoes. They were cooked the way I like them crispy and golden brown. The coffee tasted burnt. The side biscuits we ordered were really good. Flaky on the outside and warm and fluffy inside. Two people in my party ordered a bowl, right now I just remember it had beans, red sauce and tortillas. The comments were, soggy tortillas and no taste. The other person ordered the biscuits and gravy. She said the texture of the gravy was like jello. Our waitress Helen did not check on us, had she checked on us she would have noticed we did not get our order of French toast we had also asked for. When she finally did bring the bill that's when we asked for more water, for her to remove the French toast and for a to go box. The restaurant is really packed in tight. The front waiting area to all the back to the seating. You're sitting on top of each other and it's very loud. They do have a QR code you can use to look at the menu items and pay your bill. I scanned the QR code to pay the bill and it was already figured in at 20% tip. 18, 20 and 30. The parking lot is hard to get around with all the cars and people. The Spot at Belmont Bay is officially our new brunch problem!!!…read more We went to The Spot at Belmont Bay this past Sunday for brunch, and I'm just going to say it: this is the best brunch in the area. Not "pretty good for Woodbridge." Not "solid little neighborhood spot." I mean clear-your-calendar-because-you're-going-back good. We ordered the Breakfast Board for Two, and it was exactly what brunch should be: generous, fun, shareable, and absolutely loaded. Eggs, bacon, house-made sausage, smashed potatoes, Belgian waffles, biscuit, gravy (so good), fresh fruit, Greek parfait, and pastries of the day all showed up on one board like brunch had assembled the Avengers. And here's what makes it even better: everything is made from scratch. You can taste it. Even the sausage is made in-house, which explains why it stood out so much. The smashed potatoes were seasoned beautifully, the scrambled eggs were fluffy, the bacon had that perfect crispy edge, and the waffles were golden with just enough crunch. The biscuit was soft and buttery, and the cinnamon roll situation on the side had absolutely zero interest in helping anyone make responsible decisions. Respect. But the absolute star of the show was the spicy Bloody Mary. Best Bloody Mary I've ever had. Full stop. It had real zip, great spice, and that pickle salt rim took it completely over the top. Salty, briny, spicy, savory, it hit every note. Add the crispy bacon and lemon garnish = forget about it!! The drink menu is no joke either. They've got mimosa carafes, mimosa flights, sangria, margarita flights, brunch cocktails, dirty sodas, coffee drinks - basically, The Spot looked at brunch beverages and said, "Yes. All of it." We also had a mimosa, and it was bright, fresh, and exactly what you want sitting next to a big brunch board. We also had the chance to meet the owners, and they were fantastic. Warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they're building. That makes such a difference. You can tell when a place has real people behind it who care about the food, the service, and the vibe. The Spot absolutely has that. I liked it so much that I'm already going back for their bourbon tasting Saturday night, and then again for their Father's Day brunch on Sunday. Great food, great drinks, great owners, great atmosphere, and scratch-made brunch that actually delivers. The Spot at Belmont Bay is a winner. Mom also reported the Women's Restroom was very nice. So there's that for your consideration. We will definitely be going back. Mom (who hates leaving the house these days) even called a friend on the way home and said the three of us need to go together soon. THAT is a better rating than Michelin could even dream of giving.

What a fantastic surprise!…read more My fiancé and I were in town visiting friends and originally planned to go to Waffle House for breakfast, but the wait was crazy. My brother, who lives in the Stafford area and is a serious foodie, recommended Widewater Grill. Honestly, it's the kind of place you could easily drive right past without realizing what you're missing. We are so glad we stopped. I had Uncle Richard's Breakfast with eggs, green peppers and onions, bacon, home-fried potatoes, and French toast. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. The home fries tasted truly homemade, which is harder to find than you'd think. The coffee was excellent, served in a real mug, and I loved being able to refill it myself. My fiancé ordered the 12-ounce strip steak cooked medium, and he hasn't stopped talking about it. He said it was cooked perfectly, which is something even many chain restaurants struggle to get right. What really stood out was the atmosphere. The service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant has that local, family-run feel that immediately makes you comfortable. As a retired Marine family, we also appreciated the Marine Corps traditions and military pride displayed throughout the restaurant. Great food, great service, great conversation, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!
