Told Ryan over the phone that the limo may not be able to turn around at the end of our private driveway and would be happy to meet him up the street. I told him that we have a 35ft motorhome that we turn around, but at night it may be difficult for a limo. He decided to take his changes and sent the driver down our private drive. Near the end, our driver Joel decided he would not turn around, but would rather back out because he could not see - a situation I had described on the phone. It took nearly a hour to reverse down our mile long driveway at walking pace. And the limousine guest had to escort him. The reverse lights were not working so he continuously had to push the break lights to see where he was driving. We were late for dinner, and charged the extra time. On the drop off, driver refused to drive back down the driveway and left us to walk home a mile in high heels at night. I called Ryan the next day and asked not to be charge the extra time. He insisted this situation was my fault because I told him we can turn around a 35 ft. motorhome (during the day with two people). Pretty descent overall service. The driver was polite and accommodating and everything was good for the price. What I did not like is that Silver Fox Limousine gave me their regular pricing on the limo and did not work with me on the pricing when I tried to make a deal. Then I had the driver tell me that the deal I have gotten was great and special and that he had to clear additional stops and pickups with the dispatch. To be fair, their depot is in Temecula and they did drive out all the way to Palm Springs for us. It is quite an effort and should have been communicated very clearly at the time when I ordered the limo. If this problem was to develop further, they would have gotten a terrible rating from me. We had a bachelorette party of 8 ladies getting carted around for wine tasting. The driver, Craig, was a few minutes late but only like 5 and called to let us know. He was super cool and not stuck up like some drivers can be! We made it everywhere we needed to go and he laughed off some of the drunkies shenanigans. A driver can make or break your limo experience so I'd definitely request Craig in the future! The only thing that would have made it absolutely perfect would have been being notified as we were leaving that we would be charged for 15 minutes overtime instead of me just seeing the charge and having to call.
