The tea itself was a pot of unfiltered water that tasted like well water. Overall, after paying with tip and tax $100 for two- it was outrageously overpriced, and under provided for. We traveled from Chicago for this and expected some pastries, fruit, and more finger sandwiches. Very disappointing. Oh, and I forgot to mention, Housekeeping was running a leaf blower to clean the carpets outside the guest rooms that were adjacent to the patio.

The only disappointment was overhearing members of the waitstaff speaking negatively about customers to the hostess. While I understand that every job has its challenging moments, those conversations are best kept out of earshot of guests, as they can detract from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Aside from that, our visit was enjoyable, and that's the one area I would recommend improving.

Lots of great variety here! We all felt a little shorted on the tasting itself, as the woman leading out group was spread thin helping/educating multiple groups at once. We of course had to get a charcuterie plate to pair, and that was delightful. Best part? You get to take a bottle home of your favorite wine you tasted, which was a total surprise to us. In addition to their wines, they have tons of other drinks available at the bar. Custom cocktails, a whole section dedicated just to Old Fashioneds, plus some local brews. Their food menu is made up of mostly snack-style food, with many tasty picks from cheeses and meats, to spreads and small pizzas. Even after we settled on a Boudreaux Blanc, the staff, hearing I wasn't the biggest fan of whites, came back to offer me a sample of a red he thought I may enjoy. He was 100% right. They have ample outdoor seating which we utilized this evening. Luckily this evening, the villages 4th of July festivities were also happening so we had some live music to enjoy as well. Finally, while they put together a tasty charcuterie board themselves, they also team up with other village establishments to offer more food options that can be delivered right to your table at Vintage 38. Tonight we needed something a little more so went with a pizza. It's a great option to enjoy a perfect evening in the Greendale village.
