[[HIGHLIGHT]]The food is great, the location is fantastic l, and the staff is super friendly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is overall a great option when in the area. They've got solid appetizers and generous portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is small but somehow fits a good deal of people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is varied and their Wisconsin soup is something I think about often.

Great fresh quality food and drinks. We sat on the patio with minimal wait on a busy Saturday afternoon, though service did take a bit longer as a result. I had the rosé flight which was nice and refreshing on this hot day. We also ordered the sashimi app, large Greek salad (though on the smaller side), and spinach and artichoke dip. Everything was super tasty and fresh.

This place is a gem. The wait staff is so friendly every time we visit - always attentive and helpful. Food is always fresh and drinks are nice and cold. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A nice place to sneak away from the chaos of LG beach while still having the views![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The flatbread was very good. It came with Burrata, tomatoes, pesto, and a balsamic drizzle.

On the morning of Sunday September 29th, my daughter and I decided to head to Lake Geneva for the day. We were walking around town and started getting hungry. Barrique looked inviting and we decided to give it a try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a beautiful day so we sat outside and had a nice view of the Lake.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We split a flatbread which came with Burrata, tomatoes, pesto, and a drizzle of balsamic. It was very good. Service was friendly and prices are reasonable. If you are in town, you might want to give Barrique a try.

Food was amazing! They make a lot in house including their jalapeño vodka. We will definitely be back to try other menu items.

My husband and visited Barrique Wine & Brew Bar one quiet Monday evening before dusk. We sat inside close to a window so we could enjoy the view. It was chilly outside, but their were guests enjoying the lovely patio as well. My husband had a cocktail, I had a cider, and we shared some very yummy baked spinach artichoke dip. It was so cheesy. There were guests around us eating full meals, and the food looked fabulous. There were also guests like us just enjoying beverages and appetizers. The location is small, but very cute, and the staff was so friendly. I can not wait to visit again!

A solid 3 stars. My cocktail was excellent, my food was good, but the service was slow, even by resort town busy weekend standards. I took a picture of the feminine products in the restroom. This is a very welcoming touch! I'd go back, but perhaps try again during off hours.

I arrived right at 11 when they opened. The waitress was very nice and asked if I wanted inside or outside. I sat outside and looked at the lake. Oakfire was playing music over their speaker so it was a nice ambiance. I ordered the jalapeno margarita.... It would've been the best margarita I've ever had if it was bigger and didn't have so much ice. I then ordered a sparkling wine flight which was great. I ordered the beachside salad with chicken. It was delicious, but if you don't like a lot of onions ask for less onions. The goat cheese in this dish is so good. I ordered a bottle of wine to go since I really liked one on the flight. My total was $93 for all of it.

I absolutely loved coming here. We came here on a cold day and the warm vibes in the restaurant were perfect. It's a small restaurant, but we really liked that because it gives an intimate vibe. Our server was great. She gave us great recommendations and was really friendly. I think we ate almost every bite of the food because it was so good. The soup flight is perfect for winter days. The view of the lake is also beautiful.

Ambiance: Ambiance and restaurant decor was one of the highlights of the night in my opinion. Lots of neat items and decor - interesting glasses, art, couches/chairs, leather menus, etc. Food: We had the Peruvian chicken wings and the wagyu beef tacos. I thought the Peruvian chicken wing dish was quite good - 9/10. The chicken was very flavorful and the salad was a decent size and tasted good. The wagyu tacos in my opinion was underwhelming for sure. It really tasted like pretty bland meat and the tortilla chips on the side were almost guaranteed straight from a bag (Aldi blue corn tortilla chips if I had to guess ). I wouldn't personally recommend the tacos. If I were to go again, I'd get the chicken wings again, and get the hangover salad instead of the tacos. Drinks: We had the coconut cocktail, the cucumber cocktail, and I had a beer from Nicaragua. All were tasty, albeit definitely lacking punch, i.e. I couldn't actually tell you with a fact if they contained alcohol. The Nicaraguan beer was super light and I liked it. There was a beer from Czechia but it was out of stock.

Sounds like they often have live music, which would be really fun to come back for. I was with a group of gals for a wine tasting. I'll say I loved all of the wines but one. Lots of great variety here! We all felt a little shorted on the tasting itself, as the woman leading out group was spread thin helping/educating multiple groups at once. We of course had to get a charcuterie plate to pair, and that was delightful. Best part? You get to take a bottle home of your favorite wine you tasted, which was a total surprise to us. In addition to their wines, they have tons of other drinks available at the bar. Custom cocktails, a whole section dedicated just to Old Fashioneds, plus some local brews. Their food menu is made up of mostly snack-style food, with many tasty picks from cheeses and meats, to spreads and small pizzas. After our tasting, we enjoyed their side patio - I had a lavender cocktail of sorts with an adorable butterfly ice cube. Points for presentation! I'd come back!

The mansion was built in 1856, making it the first mansion in Lake Geneva. The estate has been completely redone but charming details were kept. Along with a mansion where you can book a room, Maxwell also includes beautiful gardens, lounges, outdoor fireplaces, a heated pool, croquet and bocce ball. There is also a separate area in the back with motel rooms. Like I said, I was there for a lil' drink. There's a bar inside the mansion (Apothecary Bar) with all kinds of medical and druggist paraphernalia, with the space being a tribute to Dr. Philip Maxwell. But it's the speakeasy, which is accessible outside in the front of the house, that you'll want to visit. Ask for the password inside the mansion, and they will let you into a dark, below-ground bar. It has a classic-looking front façade, made from crafted wood millwork. Inside, on the lower level, is a bar area and seating for different-sized groups. Upstairs is another dining area that isn't as well furnished, but it is definitely quieter (which is always our pick). We had reservations on a Friday night and got seated right away. Our server got us settled in with water and menus. They have a drink menu with some interesting offerings of hand-crafted cocktails. We settled on a couple of Pinot Grigios, Old Fashioneds, and a Lo Siento. All were very good. After our server (Calvin, who did a great job the entire night) explained all of the specials, we decided on the Seba-tons (Lobster Wontons); the Duck; Lamb Chops; Brrr-atta (Pasta); and the Bronze Medal (Filet). All the food was amazingly good. The Lobster Wontons were hot, flavorful, and crisp (not greasy). Each piece was a good size. We didn't wait long for the entrées to come out. Each of them was well presented, hot, seasoned nicely, and generous in portion. My lamb chops were the perfect medium rare (almost as good the next night when I had leftovers). The potatoes with olives, feta, etc. were inventive and delicious. The first meal we ate here was memorable, but I think this meal even topped that one. Absolutely delightful. We would definitely come back for another meal. My only suggestion would be to add a little more décor upstairs (maybe a picture or two :).
