It's a body scrub where you are completely unclothed and a woman with two minutes rubs your body and dead skin flies off. At the end, you were rubbed down in oil. I was worried that this wouldn't be relaxing, or it would even hurt. Let me first say that they put you in a sauna for as long as you can stand, and then a wet sauna. Next you go into the room face up, and the scrubbing starts. Well, it is not as relaxing as a massage, by any means There is much satisfaction in the results. I left with glowy soft skin feeling wonderful! The spa offers an option where you can purchase a membership and the services are cheaper. I will definitely become a frequent flyer! I can't recommend this place enough!

No clear delineation of hygienic practices for all I know they're using the same washcloth on me that they use on the previous customer. The massage: i heard the machine from the wash area going off for 40 mins of my 60 min massage. The masseuse was pressing down on my spine it did not feel good at all. Also people kept popping in and talking while i was getting my massage. The place needs some fine tuning.

I hate to have to update my review like this, but this gym is going downhill fast. The membership…read morefees of $73/month are no longer worth the headache. What used to be open spaces for members are now solely reserved for group exercise classes. I would understand that sentiment if there were more than 2 classes held a day. These communal spaces are now locked which leaves members to resort to overcrowding the turf and track areas. Equipment is a hit or miss. There's an entire treadmill row that doesn't work and even one with a slash straight down the middle. There are only two stairmasters that work and are always being utilized. The communication from the leadership team is almost nonexistent when asking about these problems. I come here because it's accessible, not because I want to. Where is my money going?

Better spacing and layout would improve the overall experience for members. In addition, an evaluation of the employees could help the YMCA run more effectively. Some staff members were not very helpful and did not acknowledge me when I needed assistance. However, one staff member, a young lady named Kaliyah, stood out in a positive way. She was very attentive, helpful, and provided excellent customer service. Kudos to her for making my experience better!

On the outside it just looks like a random house in a plaza of restaurants and other businesses. It's super clean and tidy. The ambiance is so relaxing. All staff members are very professional and pleasant. I had to fill out a form about my health history, areas of concern and discussed with Rebecca that I'd like my upper back, shoulders and neck to get extra attention. I wanted my lower back to be avoided due to an annular tear in L4 and to focus on my right trocanter because of my sciatica. Unfortunately, as much as she agreed and acknowledged my request, none of it was followed through. I did tell her I prefer a harder pressure versus a Swedish massage and was never asked if pressure was okay. Other than that, I had an overall good experience.

Visited here a few times as a guest of a member. This is a great gym for people who compete. When…read moreyou visit, you will mostly see & hear the bodybuilders. If you go downstairs, they have pictures of the legends & some of their locals who train at Club Fitness. There are "regular" work out people as well but, the professionals obviously stand out. The selection of equipment is abundant & everyone is friendly so don't be scared to ask if they're done with a machine. This gym also has a female only room, & other rooms that cater to a specific workout, such as abs, legs, etc. They also have a punching bag which is rare to find. The main floor is where you can find the cardio machines. These aren't the latest & greatest, but they get the job done. Make sure you have some headphones to keep you motivated. I haven't tried an aerobics session yet. I usually attend in the evenings. I can say the cycle class is popular. What bothers me about this gym is the amount of paper towel dispensers & how you obtain the sanitizer. The paper towels are hard to find & are scarce. The sanitizer, you need to grab a bottle from the front desk & basically keep it with you. On busy days, they aren't always visually available & you may have to ask someone to bower theirs. Also, people don't always return them to the desk, so you may have to search around the floor. Also, I suggest wiping down the machine or weights before using them. Some people jump between them, going back & forth & they don't wipe them down until they're completely done. So if you're not aware, you may use something in between their workout. Gotta be careful with covid. The mask situation is still in effect here. Wear it while walking around. The staff are very friendly if you're friendly to them. I haven't had any issues & the member I go with is constantly joking around with all the staff. They don't press you to become a member either, which is nice. Guests pay $10 & free on Fridays. The restrooms are always clean. I haven't used the showers, so can't comment too much, but they look clean. If I lived in the area or a Club Fitness near me, I'd join.

**spinning class review**…read more I came here Richard's spin class, and it was epic. I've taken a ton of spinning classes in CT and NYC, and Richard's was my favorite. His song selection and choreography (if that's the right word?) was totally on point. Even though I was exhausted after one song, I was so excited to find out what the next song and challenge would be. And somehow I managed to keep up the pace and enthusiasm throughout the hour long class, mainly because he had the energy and excitement to keep the full class going. The room itself was amazingly well ventilated despite not having any windows. The bikes were really comfortable and had a great seat. The bikes include clips as well as the ability to use sneakers. Walking through the gym before and after the class, I could tell quickly that Club Fitness focuses on weight training above cardio. There's plenty of cardio machines, but the way the gym was set-up lends itself more to a weight lifting crowd. While the equipment is packed, it does not feel too crowded. Gym includes a smoothie bar in the back as well as tanning rooms. If I wasn't already locked into a gym, I'd think about switching just for Richard's spinning classes.
