On Saturday, 9/5/2020, during the 117° heat, around 5:30pm, my AC started blowing hot air. It was 86° in my house! I had actually requested a quote from another company but the were not available. Given that this was the Labor day weekend I was lucky to even have anyone respond. Maribel from Silver Lining responded and had some additional questions. She let me know that no one was available then, but could have someone out the next day, Sunday. Note: Other companies also responded but didn't have anything available until Wednesday or Thursday. Now, given that fact that my AC is over 23 years old, I was already expecting to be told we needed a new one. Ronald was prompt on Sunday morning. After the inspection he said we needed a new unit as it would basically cost me about 1/2 the cost of a brand new unit just to re-charge my old one. He also offered me a complete package to also install a brand new furnace but I didn't want that, at this time. I was told it would be about a week or so for installation. Well that night, my AC was spewing out hot air again and my disabled husband was suffering. We couldn't wait over a week so I contacted Maribel to see if we could get one installed asap. She worked her magic. Said couldn't do it on Monday( Labor Day) but could do it today, Tuesday. Oscar, the installer, showed up a little after 8am and was done by 10am! Talk about customer service. He was friendly and straightforward. Once we signed the quote, we were told it would take 3 weeks to have the windows delivered, and exactly 3 weeks later the windows arrived. I can't say enough about David and Sergio's crew on our Windows install. David was very attentive and response and answered every question that we had. It was never a hard sale and that put us at ease. We had multiple estimates but decided on David because it felt "real" with his approach and we felt comfortable with it. This was a bigger project than I expected and Sergio's crew knocked it out of the park. The "system" they had with their crew was actually fun to watch. Preparations to protect our interior with floor coverings, furniture wraps and shoe coverings tells me that they care for our property and that took me by surprise. Also Sergio working extra late to get as much done as possible as they knew time is of the essence and did not sacrifice workmanship along the way. There was a hiccup on one of the window but came back the following day to correct it and that was fine by me. Overall I give them a A+ and am very happy with their work.
