From initial vendor comparison to signing on the dotted line on the day of project completion, working with Hometime Windows and Doors was one of the best home renovation decisions we've made. My wife and I recently purchased our first home. It's old construction built in the 1970's, and the windows in the home were original, which for us meant thin and leaky. He was very flexible in terms of scheduling, and was consistent with follow-ups over email, text, and phone. He took time over those communications to understand fully what we were looking to accomplish and came prepared to our in-house consultation with extensive product information and samples. He put together a proposal that while not the least expensive, was still very competitive. Combined with Hometime's superior materials and methods, it was an easy yes. Living in an HOA controlled community meant that the proposal needed to be reviewed and approved by the board, which wasn't an issue, but certainly added delays. That's where Nina, their scheduler came in clutch, keeping everything on hold until we had the necessary approvals. Once she did, she worked diligently to find dates and times to start our project that worked for our schedule, and still allowed us to get things going before our approvals expired. She remained in communication right up until the first install day making sure that all logistics were set. Finally, it was time for the install. Our installers, Enrique and Christian showed up right on time the first day, were able to work around a challenging parking situation, and got right to work. The original windows in our home, being of a very old design, were of a type that couldn't be pulled out simply. They literally had to be broken out of the walls piece-by-piece. This did cause some concern around potential damage as well as hazards that broken glass might present to our pets who were at home during the install. But we needn't have been concerned at all. Enrique and Christian were extremely careful, and worked diligently until all the old windows were out, and the new windows went in perfectly fitted and finished. Upon completion they accompanied me on a tour to check their work, reminded me of their warranty policies, and made sure I was completely satisfied with all they'd done before concluding our business. True professionals all throughout. In the days that followed, the owner Andrew also touched base with us to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction, and that we were completely happy with our choice, which we absolutely are. We recently had our entire home windows replaced. I cannot begin to say what a pleasant experience this was - with the exception of me moving a heavy desk away from the window!!) Dylan gave us on a Saturday a demonstration of the features and UV performance of the glass and windows and then a tour of the factory and manufacturing processes. The pricing was more than reasonable, as well, with better quality than the other 3 bids we received. The day of installation, Frank made sure to explain the entire process before removing the old windows with Joe and Andrew both taking care to tarp the inside floors and confirm each detail. When we ran into a fit issue on two of the windows due to the original framing left inside, the team sorted out the issue, and Frank worked a solution by modifying some existing interior sections. Prior to finishing, he demonstrated how the windows were sealed, inviting me over to watch the process, since we had significant leakage from the last rainstorm on the old windows. He then finished by making sure to paint the around the windows both inside and out, saving me the effort. These gentlemen worked hard, were respectful of my family in and out during the day, and inspired me with their enthusiasm. It's been about 2 weeks and we love our new windows and especially our new sliding patio door. 20 year old drafty windows and a heavy sliding door all replaced. The windows really help trap the climate in the house and the house does not heat up as much as it did before. The frosted glass window we got for the master bathroom looks amazing too! When we decided to invest in new windows the first company that caught our eye was Hometime Windows because of the positive reviews and their straightforward sales message. We went out to the showroom in Upland and the Sales Assistant even offered us a tour of the window assembly room and explained their window products in detail. It was apparent that they have a very high quality product. So we had their sales consultant Jaime come out to give us a quote. Being that we have over 50 windows it was quite a hefty price tag, more than we wanted to spend at this time. But we loved the product and decided to start with 20 of the windows that were most visible and important to us and do the others at a later time. We were quite pleased that Jaime was supportive of our decision and did not try to pressure us to do the whole project at one time. My wife and I were helping my Mother-in-Law search for two new sliders for her Long Beach home. We got a few bids from familiar names in the Orange County area that seemed high; but, we figured it was the going rate. My daughter's had recently bought a new condo that had new windows so I asked them what brand they were. We looked up Hometime and went to the Santa Ana location and sat down with Drew. He wrote up a great bid for the work needed, a 40% discount from the 3 bids we had received. We worked with Nina in the back office to set up a measurement appointment. Enrique and Christian showed up as scheduled and explained the process as they measured out the openings. All said it took 30 minutes or so. Nina had the same two gentlemen came back after the doors were built and they installed them in about 3.5 hours. The guys were great to work with and answered all our questions. They provided some helpful hints on upkeep, cleaned up behind themselves and per our request, measured out 4 older windows for a future project. My mother in law and wife were extremely happy with the process, price, end result and the team members we worked with. I appreciate working with a family owned, integrated company that builds, installs and provides a great warranty. Got my new font doors the other day. Ron arrived way earlier than expected but that was okay; waited in Danny to arrive. Met Danny on the installation if my patio door; extremely nice and informative. They went straight to work removing my old door and framing and installing the new doors. I was very busy trying to get things in order for our very large family gathering so I didn't get a chance to check on them very much or take photos. They finished within about 3 hours; quick. I was pleased with the results of my new doors but I was disappointed with the fact that my floor was damaged and they never said a word; I did get a picture of that. Although it is minor it is a gouge that isn't repairable. I already had a plaque that was hanging on my front entrance broken when Ron came to further investigate for installing my doors. I did make their office aware but nothing was done other that they never we had an issue with things being broken before.
