Had 3 doors made & installed with this company last year. I initially gave them great reviews because Allen came out gave a competitive quote & finished his work in a reasonable amount of time. However, we began to have issues with the exterior door closing & bathroom door paint buckling. UPDATE: I posted an updated review with those grievances. Allen contacted me and came the next day to secure the bracket and fix the paint. My faith has been restored in this company! I'm not really sure why the bracket became loose & now know not to use any chemicals when cleaning the doors. I'm again totally satisfied with the work done & pricing. Because this is an independently owned company, communication may not be as swift as with a larger company. However, any lack of communication is (I don't believe) intentional. If you have an issue and don't hear back via text, I suggest actually calling to immediately reach Allen. Now that I understand how to clean my doors and understand that any immediate communication should be handled with a phone call (not text), I'd say my 1st review is more on par with my satisfaction. The owner Allen is not a gentleman. He has a really bad manner and attitude. Before I made the final payment (last 10% of $300) I asked for a W9 per my CPA's request. Not only did he refused to provide me a W9, he yelled at me saying that I have to make the final payment of $300 before he can ask his CPA if it was required for him to provide me a W9 form! My house back door has been on its last legs for past two years. It finally refused to close right after all that rain this past April. I reached out to Allen for an estimate, and he came by as quick as he can. Immediately, he pointed out my two biggest problems: first, my back door is actually an interior door, and second, my door frame is embedded in the wall. Replacing the old door with a prehung one will be too costly, so Allen recommended to replace only the slab with a fiber glass version. He will trim, patch up and repaint the existing frame. Allen brought over the newly painted slab as soon as it's ready to be installed. The whole installation took about four to five hours. Allen made all the fine adjustments to ensure the new slab fit into the old frame snuggly, and the new door open and close smoothly without any issue. Overall, Allen is very professional. There are large gaps on framing against house and at first they forgot to seal it then came out and put white silicone on a dark brown wood frame. Then forgot to seal top and bottom.
