Best Indian food around! The butter chicken paired with the cheese naan is absolutely incredible..hands down my favorite. Every bite is packed with flavor, and I find myself craving it all the time. The service is just as amazing as the food. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. Since I'm still learning about Indian cuisine, my server took the time to explain the menu, answer my questions, and make great recommendations. Came here for an early dinner tonight with my family and we were able to sit down right away. I imagine this place must be packed come peak dinner time, but I am so happy we didn't need to wait. The place looks and feels clean and we were greeted promptly and our server was warm and helpful with his suggestions. I am from out of town, but from where I come, we have a variety of cuisines that all taste/feel authentic. That being said, I have been to several Indian restaurants in my hometown; but this is by far THE best Indian Restaurant I have been to. The next time I visit and come here I know I am going to be stuck between reordering the same things or trying out other dishes on their menu. Things we ordered (see pics below): Drinks: Masala Tea Seafood appetizer: Calamari with the butter garlic Naan Delicacies: Garlic Naan Entrees (3) all served with rice: Palak Chicken, Bhuna Ghosh (choice of lamb or goat), and the Chetinad Chicken The Masala Tea (not pictured unfortunately), seems to be made to order bc that was the most delicious and richest/flavorful tea - highly recommend getting it. The food was delicious!! We've been searching for good Indian food since moving to Texas. This is by far the best that we've come by.

Been here more than once, but I have to say I am not comfortable in restaurants that keep their ac off or at 78Farenheit, especially if I will be eating spicy food. It is not comfortable to be enjoying spice and sweating at the same time. Food took too long. I experimented with a dish I had never ordered before and it was not to my liking. I am not sure if they are doing some budget cuts but there was hardly any chicken in the curry I ordered. I will not be coming back since prices were not that cheap and chicken, my only protein, was so scarce. read more

They don't have filtered water, so you'll have to get the bottled water or another drink. The vada pav (potato sliders) are really good but spicy. The potatoes are cooked thoroughly. The buns are soft and yeasty with a toasty edge. The green sauce and small grilled sliced chili aren't spicy. The sweet ginger garlic cauliflower's sauce had more of a tangy aftertaste than I expected, so I would have liked to had it as a sauce on the side. I liked the texture of the fried batter and well doneness of the cauliflower though. The Chettinad chicken (medium spicy) had chunks of tender chicken, which were pink from the spices, in a creamy soup. The rice was on the dry/ wet end. It would have been better if it had a chance to cook a little longer so the moisture locked in. The cheese naan was a naan stuffed with cheese that pulled nicely. When it came out, it had a few dough sections that were slightly toasty. As I ate it, the heat softened the dough pretty quickly, so it wouldn't have made much of a difference to dine in or takeout. We ordered the garlic naan, butter chicken, dal makhani, bhindi masala, and chicken vindaloo. Everything was perfectly seasoned and hot. We had enough food to take home and eat the next day. Silver Spoons is phenomenal. My husband and I dropped in without any prior knowledge of what the restaurant was, and we were pleasantly surprised! For appetizers, we got masala papad (this was my favorite). Then, we got the butter chicken (my favorite from any indian restaurant) and masala chicken curry. The curry had the perfect spice. We couldn't pass up the garlic naan, which was delish. We chose two different rices (can't remember the names), but WOW! Out of this world flavor! We WILL be back! read more

I am an avid malai kofta fanatic. This place has one of the best I've ever had. Their garlic naan was also the best I've ever had. Garlic rice was delicious. My partner had goat masala, and although delicious, it was a bit greasy. The service was good. They were very nice and interested in our feedback since they've only been open for five months. The ambiance is okay. The only complaint we had was that it was very warm inside. But it was worth dealing with, cuz their food was amazing. We'll resort to doing take out during the summer Btw, be aware that their plates don't come with rice -- you have to order that separately. Overall, I highly recommend this place. These folks are amazing... MMaria is from Bombay and it shows. The spices were on point , the flavor bursting through at the right time. The slow heat for the Lamb Korma with the kick!.. The Saag Paneer was creamy and firm.. the Chicken Thicka Masala is def something to crow about and the Ras Malai and Gulab Jamun to cap it off! Magnificent... and we had just flown is to see my daughter at St Lukes who had a emergency surgery...And SIlver Spoons staff made us feel at home.... p.s.... Despite the good ratings, I hesitated walking in as I'd be the only seated customer, but I'm glad I did. It's an unassuming store front and the inside is clean and well kept, but I feel many patrons order pickup. The food was what was worth every moment. I had the onion pakora for an appetizer, followed by a well and heavily spiced chicken vindaloo with garlic naan and mango lassi. I would recommend all of those. Was super excited to order from here bc we miss Neeta's in Houston. Our meals were very bland. In particular the vindaloo was just tomato sauce with minimal flavor or spice. I will say thought the quality of lamb was pretty good so I still enjoyed the meat. My husband orders chicken korma which was also very bland and watery. I want to give them another shot though so maybe we will try it again with better results read more

Went to silver spoons after driving past it every day during my commute. This is the most delicious authentic Indian food I've had in years, the service was amazing and the food came out fast, warm, fresh and with a homemade taste that made the experience even better. Will definitely be coming back for more butter chicken and y'all should definitely try the tangy cauliflower. But to be honest I don't think there is anything on that menu that I would not try. read more

I just wanted to start off by saying the guy was super sweet and he provided us with the best service!! We came to eat here since it was close to my place and I was super excited to know that there is an Indian spot so close! But the food was disappointing, a part of the garlic naan was burnt and it was okay because it was just a tiny bit and it didn't make much difference while eating it with the sauce. Although, some pieces of the chicken were burnt and I just took most of my meal to go. I did finish the rest later because it was so expensive. This was the only Indian restaurant I paid so much for . I ordered butter chicken that did not come with rice nor anything else. At the end for two people it was around $50!! I was so shocked because I have never payed this much for two people to eat the same exact food I have ordered at several different spots that did not have burnt pieces of chicken and did include the rice with the entree. I did not mention anything about the burnt pieces to the guy because I was already disappointed as is and just wanted to leave. I do apologize for the review ending this way and again the guy who served us was such a sweet guy but I felt that I needed to write this review since moving back to Houston I have not found an Indian spot that compares to the ones I have eaten at before and were half the price for two people:( read more
