There are sooo many tasty options on their menu! We ordered the Three Cheese Turkey Melt and the Queso Chicken Sandwich. Both sandwiches were delicious though I definitely favored the Chicken Sandwich more. We ate outside on the patio which had a fire pit in the middle, some great music playing as well as views of the river. Had a great experience, only recommendation for the business would be to perhaps add some more decor or greenery to the outdoor space. read more

Gristle in the sirloin really impacted my rating. Juicy, prepared perfect, but quality of meat questionable. This is steak country!! Service was good, everyone else enjoyed this meal. We had the Poutine, Chicken Spurs, Chicken Fried Steak and Chimichangas for dessert. Poutine was delicious; fries were crisp, curds melted in your mouth and the brown gravy was delicious. Chicken Spurs (a.k.a. Chicken fingers) were hit and crunchy. The Chicken Fried Steak melted in your mouth and could be cut with a fork, YUMMm! We highly recommend this wonderful spot read more

We were seated for over 15 minutes right behind the hostess stand and 4 waitresses walked by our table and could see that we only had menus, no drinks, no food. yet when a party of 10 or so women come in, they get seated right away and get their order taken. When we saw that happen, we got up and left because we clearly were not going to get served. This WAS one of our favorite restaurants, but it no longer is. this dining experience was the worst one that we have ever had. I highly discourage anyone from doing business with this restaurant as they only pay attention to the larger tables and not the littler ones. It was not busy when we were there either. if I could I would leave a 0 star review. They do not deserve a 1 star rating. read more

We used to love going to the Spur. Food was great, reasonably priced, and great service, even on busy nights. The last few times we have been there the food hasn't been quite as good. I used to live the chicken spurs but have been really dry the last two times I have ordered them. The wait staff is typically really good. We have ate here several times while in town on fishing trips. Overall the service and food are pretty good. Seems to be fairly popular with the locals. The last time we were here they were pretty busy. Only saw 2 waitresses working so naturally the service was kind of slow. Took about 10 minutes to get menus and another 5 for our order to be taken. Place was recommended from friends in Pierre so we took a group of us out to try it. It is a bar / restaurant but it nicely done. They have a nice sized bar and plenty of seating. If you want to wasn't th the game make sure you pick your seating. Some areas of the seating do not have tvs. Which isn't bad either if your not there for that. The service was good and friendly. Menu has alot on it, more then just typical bar food. We all tried different items and no complaints. Would recommend eating here again. Price was very reasonable as well. 1) The Bloody Mary just wasn't very good. 2) The "Western Burger" was ... bad. a) The sauce was not very good. b) The onions weren't cooked thoroughly. c) The beef was really low quality. Not much else to say. It's really hard to mess up bar food and unfortunately I must have just had a poor experience here. Most likely won't be back.
