Ricardo quickly diagnosed the problem and worked with Snyder Diamond and, ultimately, the faucet manufacturer to get the correct replacement cartridge. Once I saw how thorough and efficient he was, I asked him to tackle a few other projects while he was here. He performed the annual maintenance on our three tankless water heaters, replaced the worn components in three Toto toilets that have had chronic running issues after flushing, and fixed two leaking faucets that seemed to decide to act up at exactly the same time. Every job was completed quickly, and everything has worked perfectly since. What impressed me most wasn't just that Ricardo knew what he was doing. It was how efficiently he worked. He diagnosed problems quickly, came prepared, and got everything taken care of without wasting time. I found The Affordable & Licensed Handyman through Yelp because they had great reviews so I was interested to see how much their service fee would be for a simple job when I was looking for a plumber. I needed a license plumber due to home insurance requirement to do this installation or I would've done it myself. They were responsive when I talked to them through Yelp projects. I was shocked with how much I was quoted because it was almost double the price of the automatic shut off valve device I paid for. So I had to confirm that the price that was given to me was just to switch out the bad unit with the new one. They didn't have to do anything else like run new pipes or replace anything else. When I communicated to them that the quote was high, they asked how much did i wanted to pay. I thought they would try to be more reasonable since the name is The Affordable. I give them a range based on the prices from other plumbing company that I reached out to and they couldn't do it which I understand they can set their own prices.
