    Breakfast at silverside.

Aaaaaassmazing again!!!! I got the orchard fire chicken. So good. This place is a solid place. We needed a win today and we got it!

Italian Cold Cuts - too much mayo!

I ordered the Italian Cold Cuts and it was pretty good, but nothing that blew me away. I really liked the bread that they used and it was the standout for me. I think they put too much mayonnaise on the sandwich and not enough cherry pepper relish! I do plan on coming back again to give it a second chance.

went here after a day of snowboarding and it hit the SPOT! it's a causal cute little shop with a ton of menu options to choose from. They have really unique sandwiches and my party got everything from the cold cut to the Korean fried chicken. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the food and devoured it! I got the spicy chopped cheese and loved it, it came out at a reasonable time and it was warm and fresh! The service was great and I would highly recommend everyone to check this place out! It would be great to go or even for a quick meal if you're in a pinch. I'll 100% be back!

I got the June special honey mustard BBQ chicken breast sandwich. This was very tasty. Only downside was no car delivery that they offered, took 20 minutes driving around so parked at natural groceries and walked up. They were so fast making it that I took it home and reheated. Next time I will park or walk and order when I get there. Nice to have a friendly place to go in my sugarhood.

We have been here twice this summer and I expect we will be back again. As a vegetarian this didn't really do it for me. As most people- I would love some choices and the only interesting vegetarian sandwich is SO spicy! I didn't hate the collard greens but I couldn't finish it! I also tried the grilled cheese. It is a basic grilled cheese. I like the one from Sonic better though. My carnivorous husband on the other hand went nuts for this place and would probably go most days to try all the sandwiches. He said they are wonderful. Fries are good. Sprouts were good.

Wow. This food is so good! The Chopped Cheese is so delicious. It's quite big so maybe split it with someone or for later. The fry sauce is super tasty and the fries are done perfectly. I've eaten in once but mostly picked up. Service is always quick and friendly.

I wish I was exaggerating when I say I dream about this place. I am currently on a mission to try the entire menu. The flavors are never lacking and they all blend so well together. I can't say I have a favorite sandwich yet but I will definitely get the chopped cheese friend and brussel sprouts every time, everything about them is perfectly delicious. I have tried their chicken Caesar salad sandwich, chicken parm and Korean fried chicken. Chicken Caesar salad- it was extremely refreshing and not too heavy. I thought it was perfect for a park/picnic day meal. Chicken parm- sooo yummy, I got it without the cherry pepper relish to reduce spice and I thought the sandwich was great. The chicken was crispy, and it was saucy without being overloaded. Still messy and it is a BIG boy! Korean fried chicken- great blend of flavors that go together perfectly. It had the right amount of kick to it without bring too spicy. I think this is a perfect lunch spot. The food comes out quick, they average $14-$16 a sandwich (WORTH EVERY PENNY) with great portions, and the service overall is great. 110/10 would recommend!!!

Korean Fried Chicken ITS SO GOOD OMG

If you haven't heard this is THE BEST DELI The Korean sandwich is incredible and so unique, literally order this and enjoy yourself! I've had this sandwich two separate times and it's consistently good. The fresh fries are great and the portions are awesome (shareable too). Service is great and pretty quick. Overall cozy vibe, think Manhattan hole in the wall deli. Will be returning :)

The Italian Cold Cut was so delicious! They put oil and vinegar along with meats, lettuce and tomato. The flavors paired really well together and the bread was soft but crunchy on the outside. The best sandwich I've had in a while! The fries and cooked perfectly and are a little thicker cut which I loved! They have a lot of hot sauces to choose from if you eat inside. You can't go wrong here, they sandwiches are really good! The service was great as well! The workers are nice, attentive and our food came out quickly.

The restaurant was cool, but a bit on the smaller side, we kept feeling like we were in the way. Whether we were getting our drinks, sitting down, or trying to leave it was a bit hectic with people trying to get around us or us around them and tables. The food was pretty good. Pretty spicy, I do like spicy but it ended up being a bit hotter than I bargained for. (Chicken parmasan and carnitas.) I still enjoyed it though! I feel like the sandwiches were a bit higher priced than other local sandwich shops, especially for what is received. We asked an employee for an extra sauce (cilantro aioli for the carnitas) she said sure, but when she gave it to us she replied by saying "I'll give you this one but if you want any more sauce we'll have to pay for it because it's made in-house, and it's delicious and very expensive to make." I know most places, especially these days charge for extra sauces. However, I thought there were better ways to handle it than she did. It just sounded a bit.... weird.... for her to tell a customer how expensive the sauce is to make. (It was probably 1 ounce...) Anyway, we may come back. I'm not completely against it but it wouldn't be my top choice.

First time at Silverside Deli. Asked the cashier for his recommendation and wasn't given much advice, so I decided to go with their classic chopped cheese. Service was fast, took about 5 min for my food to be done. The chopped cheese was tasty, but not worth the price I paid. Overall, great place. Would love to try some of their Korean chicken sandwiches.

Honey buffalo. Really saucy and spicy. It was really good!

We were excited to try this place because of all of the amazing reviews. It's in Sugarhouse and the parking is a little sparse. It's a cute little place with a handful of tables but we came on a Saturday evening over a holiday weekend and it wasn't crowded at all. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, a chopped cheese sandwich and the chicken parm, the honey buffalo and the collard green sandwiches. Our food came out super fast! The Brussel sprouts were really good. They had a little too much tang for my taste but the others loved them. My collard greens sandwich was good but it wasn't amazing. The honey buffalo was really saucy and spicy. We enjoyed it. The chopped cheese was one of our favorites and my husband really enjoyed his chicken parm but said it's not the best he's ever had. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and would probably be back to try other menu items.

Worth it! Food - Every sandwich I've had here has been really good. They've got a way of combining and balancing flavors so well, it's just the savory meal you're craving to power you through your trek through Sugar House, or sustain you through a day of running around town. These hot sandwiches are more "involved" than a cold ham and cheese you'd grab at the deli, it's more of a sit-down-and-drink-a-beer-with-this situation. The portion sizes are just right, I've been known to finish my whole sandwich from Silverside more than once, and they're a filling hot meal without completely weighing you down. They've got some alcohol options, some beers, limited wines. Enough to get the job done without being a craft brewery. Service - Good, nice, friendly counter service. You can walk up and get your own sauces, napkins, soft drinks, etc. No frills but really kind. Ambiance - This place is pretty small, little place, little tables, but I've always found a seat when I go. It's nice, very Sugar House vibey, you'll feel cooler once you've been there. Improvements? I can be a little on the bougie side sometimes, but a canned sparkling wine or something would really do it for me. Otherwise I can't think of anything I'd change. 10/10 cool, sexy, delicious sandos.

    Gluten-free bread options?

No, they do not have gluten free bread. I just dissected my sandwich and ate around the bread. I know some can tolerate rye bread. That doesn't work for me.

I knew it had farro on it, so I ordered the farro salad. When they called my name and I checked my salad, I noticed it was definitely not the same as the one I had ordered last time, so I approached the employee who was at the counter that called out orders. Female, short-light brown hair, wavy curls. I told her the last time I came there were lots of vegetables and she gave me this dumbfounded look and said, "that's a Greek salad", which I knew wasn't right either because a Greek salad doesn't have farro. I just asked if I could add the vegetables to my farro salad and she continued to look at me annoyed then looked behind her at who may have been the manager? She had long-dark brown hair just below her shoulders. Bangs and it was pulled back in a low ponytail. Fair skin and a great smile. The energy immediately shifted when she arrived and she happily offered to add "Greek vegetables" for me. Walked it out to me when she was done adding them. She alone helped salvage that second experience. Bravo. After I had time after work, I went over the menu more carefully and I found the salad I was so impressed with on my first visit. It's called SALAD TRIO. It's an offering of all 3 of their individual salads combined into one amazing salad. Farro, Greek, and Tuna atop an ample amount of Arugula and your choice of dressing. So good! Their sea salt chocolate chip cookies are also delicious. It's quite a spacious market. They have dining on one side where you can order their salads, sandwiches, and merch. The market is on another side that offers cheese, deli meats, oil/vinegar, and so much more. Lunch gets busy here, but it's well worth a visit.

They do full-service sit-down and to-go orders and have a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, bagels, dessert, other New York/Jewish style deli foods, and beer! Sloppy Joe - 5/5 - A large (1/2 lb) double decker sandwich with pastrami and corned beef. There are 3 layers of bread. The meats are tender and flavorful and blend nicely together with the thousand island dressing and slaw between the layers. It also comes with a side, I picked the potato salad which was good too. Not too much mayo but it was still nice and creamy. I just wish I got a little more potato salad to match the portion size of the sandwich! Potato Latke Pancakes - 4.5/5 - They were nice, hot, and crispy. You get 2 pancakes which have a nice thickness to them too. The flavor was good, I just think you should get more sour cream and apple sauce. It comes with a small cup of each, but its not quite enough for the 2 pancakes and its 50c each to get extra! Matzo Ball Soup - 3/5 - The matzo ball and soup broth both had a good flavor. The proportions were just off however, a huge matzo ball but not enough broth. And the broth didn't have enough of chicken meat and veggies (carrot/celery). I basically had 1/2 the matzo ball left over at the end Attempted Murder Imperial Stout Beer - 5/5 - Its a vanilla cinnamon stout. The flavor is subtle but in a good way! Its not sweet, but has a smooth bitterness and mouthfeel with a slight fragrance of the vanilla cinnamon. If you like stout, def give this a try. Its a strong one too, 10.5% ABV! The restaurant was clean, service was good, and there is a good amount of seating and its decorated nicely inside. Def give this place a try!
