This place has a decent breakfast sandwich. It's 10 bucks for egg bacon and cheese on what feels like a pretty sturdy delicious brioche bun. My friend tried the avocado toast and said it was pretty good. He wasn't sure if it was real avocado, but it looked really pretty. It shares a space with a few other restaurants sort of a food hall vibe and it's open on Sunday. Date was Monday 6/29 at 1:15pm. I belong to a breakfast club of 20 guys. We are always on the look-out for new restaurants to add to our list. I read the reviews on Salt Egg City and as we always do, I decided to try it. I ordered the egg sausage cheese sandwich and a coffee. I am very disappointed. The coffee was in a very small cup and watered down. The sandwich was greasy, the egg, sausage and cheese were paper thin (really paper thin). I think the cook stretched out the ingredients as thin as possible so they could cut down on food. As a result the taste was terrible. There was so much grease that I couldn't distinguish any of the items. I ate two bites and threw away the rest. I still have a bad taste in my mouth over the terrible quality. I don't know who wrote the reviews. Had to be the owners, their family or good friends trying to make it look good. Don't believe the reviews. The food was awful and at the same price as a good restaurant and more expensive than most fast food places. This is a waste of time and money. read more

Super impressed with Salt Egg City! I stopped by on a Saturday morning and there was no wait. We ordered the Bacon Egg Cheese and the Sausage Egg Cheese. Our sandwiches were ready only a few minutes after ordering. They were huge and so delicious. They very well may be the best breakfast sandwiches that I have ever tried! My husband and I tried this place around 11 o'clock on a Saturday morning, and it was busy but the line moved quickly. I got the bacon, egg, & cheese, and my husband got the double mix to which is sausage and bacon as well as two eggs. They come on house made brioche buns that are out of this world. So rich and yummy. Easily the best brioche I've had. The eggs are cooked over medium which was a stretch for me because normally I don't like a runny egg. I liked it more than I thought I would. The bacon is thick cut and somehow still sooo crispy. Totally delicious breakfast sandwich. It is expensive, but I felt like it was worth it. My husband also really annoyed it!! He tried the sauce it came with and thought it was really good. It wasn't too spicy but had a good little kick. It complimented the sandwich. He also liked his coffee he got. They don't sell Diet Coke, but this place is located in a food hall with a little market in it. The arepa place next to this one had cans of Diet Coke, so I was able to get it there. The vibe of the food hall is really cool with a variety of cuisine from all of the world. It's nice cause you can go with a group and all get something different. I'm excited to go back and try more! This is a nice little breakfast/lunch place located in the new Granato's food hall. They are only open until 2p and have a variety of coffee drinks and sandwiches. I tried the Everything Avocado Toast and Roasted Potatoes. The avocado toast was a huge portion that I wish I was splitting with someone else. It's a full meal. The flavor was just a nice blend with the avocado, everything seasoning, egg and peppers. It really popped. Roasted potatoes were crispy and tasty as they were covered in romano, rosemary and truffle oil. I'm usually such a ketchup fan but these potatoes didn't need any other condiments. We love a good breakfast sandwich! Salt Egg City is a teeny tiny little shop located in ComCom Kitchen. They're open on the weekends only, from 8am-12pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It's a simple setup and a simple menu. When we walked inside it was just a table with the menu and one guy taking orders and cooking up the breakfast sandwiches. The delicious brioche buns are made by Forty Three Bakery, also located in ComCom Kitchen. I got their egg and cheese breakfast sandwich which had the gooiest fried egg topped with American cheese. It was perfectly cooked! We also got the chocolate chip cookies which were tasty. I had wanted to try the avocado toast, but they were out of it by the time we got there around 10:15ish on a Saturday. The sauce adds a lot of flavor, don't skip it like me or you'll be sad. If you don't like runny yolk, ask for the egg cooked hard. It's inside a really cute space with other restaurants. Took a little longer than expected to bring the order out, maybe 15 minutes, but not bad if you're not in a hurry. Breakfast is the best, and a walkable deluxe breakfast sandwich is tops! This place is in the com com kitchen where several other food businesses are run. I was initially confused about the entrance (it's in the right side, not the main door) when I picked up our sandwiches. We got the sausage, egg and cheese and the bacon, egg and cheese. Both were delicious! They come with sauce on the side that looks like sriracha but it is much more mild. The sauce makes the sandwich! This area is quickly becoming breakfast square. With sweet lake, the skillets food truck and now this nice sandwich spot. I personally love the setup, one person cooking on portable induction burners in a very makeshift station, surrounded by storage racks and boxes of supplies. Of course once they grow they'll need a better spot, but I'm a sucker for making due with what ya got. I got the sausage and egg sandwich, it's perfect. The egg was cooked medium, with the yolk still warm and soft but not running all over the place. It came with a small cup of hot sauce that was enough for the sandwich, but next time I'll ask for a second one. This might turn into a regular weekend thing for me. Why does this place have great reviews? We came in... to be treated by a computer to order your own meal... hubby got the bacon egg and cheese and I got something similar that I can't honestly remember the name... potatoes and a drink. We waited back by this cool vault until our order got called. The drink was a soda... can't really mess that up. But the sandwiches started which the flavor of a salt lick. So much salt in it. One bite was enough, but when I bit into mine I had the luxury of uncooked egg yolk drip down my chin and all down my shirt. I was not happy! By that time I noticed my husband spitting out the potatoes and saying they are overly salted. I tried one piece and we were done. We left both sandwiches with only one bite from them, the potatoes and drink on the table. To show them we walked without eating.... Did the care... NOPE! It took the manager two days to contact me and leave a message. When I returned his call.... Crickets! Never heard back from him! I'm sure they had an off day but... the entire meal? Yea...
