Sandwiches, fries and all the dips.

Sandwich and a little something to dip it in?! Love it. The fries were okay, but the dipping sauces were amazing. Smokey blue cheese is so good. It was really busy when we went so service was a little chaotic, but gave us time to chat while waiting. Bathroom was clean, which is always important.

Stopped in here for a bite on my walk home from the winter farmers market. Great sandwich! Whole lotta mushrooms. Outside seating is a plus. The bread doesn't get soggy when you dip it, I'm talking to you big wet bread. Lady working was very nice and even brought my food outside.

I ordered the Big Dipper and really liked the soup that came with it very rich and flavorful, perfect for dipping. The sandwich itself was good, but the cheese wasn't my favorite and kind of took over the other flavors. Next time I'll definitely try one of their chicken sandwiches instead. Still, has a great vibe and the presentation was on point. I love their tots options I may go fully for that next time. Overall the service was quick and friendly

This place is great! The service was fast, especially considering your food is made to order. The place was clean and nice inside. We got hot tejana and hunk a Bernese love, As well as a side of fries. The hot sandwich was unique and absolutely delicious! The dip for it was perfect. The other sandwich was not my favorite, the bacon was undercooked and chewy but my husband liked it. The fries were crispy, hot and so good with all the dipping sauces they have. Definitely will be back!

Went to this place for lunch in slc! I was intrigued by the menu and once we got there it was so hard to choose! All of the sandwiches sound SOO good with interesting flavors. I got the French dip with rosemary au jus. It was delicious. I would come back here just to get that again. It had an aioli on it, with mushrooms and onions. Good amount of meat and it was seasoned so well! The place was cute and had newspapers in it, as well as outdoor seating with some other restaurants there. Service was nice and polite, would def be back here.

Awesome spot. Grabbed a Cuban, and my brother grabbed a caprese-esque sando. Both were delicious. Also had some loaded tots that I neglected to take a photo of. All in all, will definitely return to try new items

Incredible sandwiches with many vegetarian and gluten free options as well. The soups are 10/10 the tomato soup saved my life after wisdom teeth removal. The fries always well seasoned and fry sauce is delish. In store they have a dip station as well with several different flavors of sauce. The staff is always so nice and I love their compostable packaging. They normally have 2 different aquas fresca options that are great and included with meal as well. Plenty of seating inside as well.

Wow... great Hunk a Bernese. With or without the dip. Killer side salad and hibiscus tea.

Hidden gem! This place takes sandwiches to a new level that come with au jus. I love dipping! Ordered the Hot Tejana and the Hunk a hunk a Bernese Love. And of course perfectly seasoned fries. Variety of fry sauces. Great friendly service. Comfortable seating area. Fair prices. Huge serving. YUM!

Everyone is amazing and perfect in their own way. I don't even know how to thank these people. But I do know that I will want to repay them when I can. Whenever I get back on my feet hopefully soon. When I walked in, there was a line of people all waiting for their delicious breakfast. Excellent sign! I placed my order and had to laugh with the worker because they were so many hilarious signs around the shop! Of course I had to try the brown butter sea salt cookie. Can you blame me? My sandwich was made fresh and devoured instantly. The focaccia had a slight char, the egg was cooked perfectly, and the bacon was super crunchy. I didn't love the American cheese, but that's just my personal preference. There's not a lot of seating options besides the one table in front. No biggie - pull up a curb or stand and eat. My sandwich was delicious and I'm excited to go back and try other variations!

Which was made up of perfectly fried pork topped with Dukes mayo (my fav), ranch-kraut (my new fav), and dill. You can really taste the ingredients which is such a plus for me as too many ingredients in a sandwhich can get muddy. - They had a special butternut squash soup with calabrian chili which was phenomenal. At only $3 it was a perfect side for winter. CONS: - Pricey. I think at this price point if it added a bag of chips or some time of fruit or a small little side or maybe a can of soda included it would be a perfect meal and a very reasonable price point. My only suggestion.

I…read morehad noticed Deadpan from some foodie articles and accounts - amazingly, they decided to keep their business going due to the massive support they received when they announced their closure a few months ago. The owner was kind and helped me pick between the two sandwiches I was being indecisive about - the Oh Schnitzel and the Hot Chopped Cheese. He asked if I could handle spicy and I said yes. I let him choose a sandwich for me between the two and he chose the Hot Chopped Cheese and said he thinks I'd enjoy it. He described it as a sandwich with chopped-up cheeseburger fillings inside, and they use a lamb and beef patty instead of just beef. Right, he was. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich and the meat was spiced and slightly spicy, but nothing I couldn't handle. The sandwich was flavorful, and I'm impressed that the bread wasn't too thick because sometimes places serve sandwiches with way too much bread-to-filling ratio. The bread was also a nice texture, I'm glad it wasn't too toasty or crunchy like some sandwiches can get that rub the roof of my mouth raw. I felt like I had a well-balanced meal out of the Chopped Cheese. Flavor-packed meat, cheese, veggies, bread - that's all you need. The food was delicious, and I don't doubt that the rest of the items on the menu taste great, but the prices feel high, yes, even in this economy. I say this because I was able to finish this sandwich and still felt I had room to eat some more, perhaps a little snack. I almost always cannot comfortably finish my food in one sitting when dining out, so that was a sign to me that this wasn't all that much food, and I could tell from the get-go because the sandwich did look small.

They do full-service sit-down and to-go orders and have a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, bagels, dessert, other New York/Jewish style deli foods, and beer! Sloppy Joe - 5/5 - A large (1/2 lb) double decker sandwich with pastrami and corned beef. There are 3 layers of bread. The meats are tender and flavorful and blend nicely together with the thousand island dressing and slaw between the layers. It also comes with a side, I picked the potato salad which was good too. Not too much mayo but it was still nice and creamy. I just wish I got a little more potato salad to match the portion size of the sandwich! Potato Latke Pancakes - 4.5/5 - They were nice, hot, and crispy. You get 2 pancakes which have a nice thickness to them too. The flavor was good, I just think you should get more sour cream and apple sauce. It comes with a small cup of each, but its not quite enough for the 2 pancakes and its 50c each to get extra! Matzo Ball Soup - 3/5 - The matzo ball and soup broth both had a good flavor. The proportions were just off however, a huge matzo ball but not enough broth. And the broth didn't have enough of chicken meat and veggies (carrot/celery). I basically had 1/2 the matzo ball left over at the end Attempted Murder Imperial Stout Beer - 5/5 - Its a vanilla cinnamon stout. The flavor is subtle but in a good way! Its not sweet, but has a smooth bitterness and mouthfeel with a slight fragrance of the vanilla cinnamon. If you like stout, def give this a try. Its a strong one too, 10.5% ABV! The restaurant was clean, service was good, and there is a good amount of seating and its decorated nicely inside. Def give this place a try!
