I came here due to the highly rated Tikki Boti Wrap Roll. I got the chicken on paratha along with veggie samosas to go. It took about 20 minutes to get my order. Chicken roll ($9.99): The chicken was decent because of the sauce it came with, but had a few too many burnt pieces. The wrap itself is greasy so make sure you have napkins...they don't give you any Samosas ($3.99): It comes with 4 small samosas. It reminded me of Trader Joe's frozen ones. The flavor was mediocre. Overall, I have had better Indian food elsewhere so more than likely I won't be coming back. read more

I am extremely happy to find this little restaurant in my area. It's a little hidden, but a definite great find! I'm lucky that my brother found this place and wanted to try it out, but I beat him to it! My friend and I decided to come here for lunch. Remember! Look for a Ruby's Diner, it's in the same plaza! Well anyways, back to the story, We came into the restaurant and I actually was surprised that it was more of a sit down restaurant. Just seeing the most of the photos of the wraps, I thought it would been more of a quick serve restaurant. I'm honestly glad that it wasn't, because when we ended up looking at the menu, they had so much to offer, other than the wraps. They had so many other indian/Pakistani dishes that I wasn't familiar with which was great! I love trying new food. So our server, Ruby, omg she was such a sweetheart. Extremely patient and helpful when it came to questions or recommendations on the menu. Even when we mentioned the check in of the 2 free samosas, She was already a step ahead of us and already put in the order. For the food, we ended up getting were.. -Beef Samosas ; crispy & petite, had great flavor & loved the sauce that went with it, like a cilantro yogurt or cream sauce that had a good kick. -Tikki Boti Wrap Roll, with Lamb & Paratha Bread ; the Paratha was AMAZING, fatty, chewy, flaky and crispy. It was a ground lamb that was cooked really well, I loved how simple it was but yet delicious! - Garlic Naan ; 2 big pieces of Naan, and it came out hot and fresh. Delicious! - Korma with Goat ; it was a curry that was made with yogurt and all the aromatics and spices. It was creamy, aromatic, great heat, amazing flavor that just hits you. You don't taste yogurt, but the consistency is amazing, it packed so much flavor and heat, it was really soothing, its hard to explain, but yeah!! The goat was perfectly cooked, the meat was soft and tender. You can cut the meat with a spoon or fork. The sauce of that curry was so amazing that I asked for more bread because I wanted eat all that sauce until the plate was clean! Haha This restaurant has amazing service, honestly, the best service I've had in a while. I've been to all different types of restaurants either cheap or expensive. I thought this place was gone for good after I was craving the Silver Spoon burrito one day and saw that their old location was closed down! But I was recently browsing Yelp for some new restaurants to try out and came across their page. Food is still as good as ever and the service is as wonderful as ever. The owner is incredibly nice and personable. It's always nice when an already amazing restaurant with amazing food has an amazing owner as well. Found this place on Yelp, it's very hidden and although I drive by it often had never seen it. The food was absolutely delicious, and the woman serving us was very friendly and attentive and was able to tell us all about every dish served. (I feel like she is the owner) We ordered the signature Silver Spoon lamb wrap and the chicken biryani. Both were amazing! I've never had anything like the wrap, it was an amazing flaky paratha with delicious lamb and vegetables inside. The biryani was beautiful and you could see and taste that it was made with fresh ground spices. The woman serving us also noted that they can make any food less spicy if you call a few hours in in advance to let them know. The food(biryani) was not inordinately spicy at all, but I thought it was nice that she offers that. They have a huge menu for such a small place(bring your reading glasses because the print is microscopic) The restaurant itself is very clean and homelike...and somewhat mysterious. Why are there Christmas decorations up in June? Why is the wall art covered in gift wrap? Hey, are those Easter decorations? I suppose I'll figure it out someday because I will definitely be back! Party of 5, waited about an hour for the food to arrive. We came expecting the wait though other reviewers suggested. We ordered 5 paratha wraps, sodas and a mango lassi. The sodas came in cans with straws, and the mango lassi came in a big glass. After an hour - two in our group did start to get a bit annoyed because the wait shouldn't be that long. I told them it would be worth it. The food arrived. Disappointment no. 1: the portion. For $10 + taxes, the portion was frankly disappointing and simply not worth the asking price. We talked about how you can easily get twice the amount of meat and fillings in a shawarma wrap for $6-7. Which tastes much better too. Granted this isn't Mediterranean food, but talking strictly from a quantity and overall flavor perspective, a shawarma is better. In most of the pictures posted on Yelp they actually show 2 wraps, but arrange in a way that it looks like a very big single wrap. Don't be fooled, two are pictured. So expect half of what you see in pictures for a single portion of $10. Disappointment no. 2: our bill for 3 sodas, 1 lassi and 5 wraps was $77. Again, this is tied with the first disappoint because of price. But for the food we got it definitely is overpriced! Also, who charges $6 + taxes for a lassi? It wasn't worth that much. Again, at other places for $8 you can get a pitcher of lassi for 6 people. It even tastes creamier and better than this! The ups: the lady (probably the owner) was really friendly, and reminded me of my aunt who passed away last year. The place was clean, and the paratha (fried tortilla) used in the wraps was the best I've ever tasted outside of Pakistan. The chicken wrap was not bad, the beef kabab better. She was given a compliment to which she replied "I don't need your compliments I'm very confident in my food. I know it's good." Ew! What a disgusting response to a compliment! Yessss! Found a new happy place. I was being indecisive for dinner, and this place popped up on Yelp (Thanks, Yelp!) Good reviews, Good Pricing... okay! When I arrived there, I saw warm, bright lights and red decor. They were dismantling their Valentine's Day display. It was ridiculously ambiente - I was impressed to say the least. 10/10 presentation efforts The lady who greeted me (Ruby) was really pleasant and welcoming. She didn't rush me, answered all my questions, and gave helpful suggestions about what items were most popular. She even offered me water and a seat. I could see the guy in back was working hard to complete the orders quickly. 10/10 service I got food to-go. When I got back, it was still really warm. I got the following: - Tikki Boti Roll (Chicken) - An order of rice with lamb - Mango Lassi - Chai Tea The Tikki Boti Roll was awesome and filling 5/5. The green sauce that came with it was yum! The rice was a steady 4/5, with well-prepared lamb. It was pretty much a big box of rice - but well-made and flavored rice. I expected to have a bit of salad or something with it. I went for a Sunday lunch and the buffet spread was quite good. There were 3 types of bread. I loved the taste of all dishes especially the poori with goat paya. My recommendation to the owner is to learn about their own menu before taking customer orders so they don't turn out wrong. After requesting a couple different orders that were not available anymore they recommended a substitute that in there words "was exactly the same". When I came in to pick up my order everything was overcharged and I knew something was off. When reviewing my order it was wrong and instead of replacing it the owner had said she can't do anything about it because she wouldn't be able to sell that food item. Ok? SilverSpoon! I found you again!!! This owner had their shop off Jeffery Rd and closed suddenly. My guy and I were so upset . We even called the business that took over their spot to do some sleuthing and see if they had the scoop on the new location‍‍... no luck. Months go by and we haven't found our delicious SilverSpoon "burrito". BUT THEN! We stumbled upon it online randomly, YESSSS!!! They are this good!!! Famous SilverSpoon "Burrito": First off this roti that acts as the wrap is exceptional (I won't be asking how mush ghee was used ), the meat is perfectly tender (no matter which option, we've tried all), the veggies are fresh, and the green sauce is light and complimentary. $9.99 for a good sized roti wrap. This being a family run business it is very homey inside and the owner is extremely nice and always remembers us. The wait can take a bit longer than other restaurants due to the amount of people working, well worth it though. Order ahead of time and pick up in a crunch when you get the craving! Best beef paratha roll ever!!! The paratha was so fresh and the beef was marinated just the right way! I am very picky about my meat and the meat that was used was good quality, not chewy, no fat and didn't have the after smell of meat. My friends had the chicken paratha roll and loved it. I don't eat chicken but was almost tempted to eat it!! For dessert, I didn't have the ras malai and kulfi but everyone on our table couldn't stop raving about it, The lady who served us was very well spoken, polite and friendly. This place was the worst restaurant I've been to. We came in the same time as another group, both of us the first in for dinner. A few other people came in after us too and for some reason the two people working there could no longer function with these 5 tables. They didn't bring us water until 15 min after we sat down. The owner was taking our order and I had it all ready but she would not stand still for longer than 30 sec for me to get it out. We sat there for a solid hour completely being ignored. The tables that came the same time got all their food after the hour. We hopefully assumed we'd be next. We weren't. They went and served food to the table behind us, who ordered after and had a much larger order. Another man immediately got annoyed and asked if they could at least get some bread while they waited. My boyfriend then went to go check on the food with the man and saw they were not cooking anything. After hearing about yummy food served at this restaurant from some of my family members I thought to give it a try. I went in yesterday with my family and to be honest the whole experience was not up to my expectations. Food was ok, not finger licking good. Some chicken Pieces and bihari boti was even raw, and we were most disappointed when my hubby told her that there's a hair in the bihari roll and she refused saying I don't see any. She didn't even bother to give another roll. Owner was quite rude and used to answer in a rude way to every question asked. There were these lamb chops on her menu which we ordered. When the order arrived and we asked about the lamb chops, she said people usually don't like it because of the odour so I subsituted it, we were like you should have told us before. I came on a quiet Sunday evening looking for a place to eat dinner with my girlfriend. We were a bit intimidated at first by the fancy Christmas decorations and white tablecloths but were warmly greeted by the charming owner who quickly seated us. She recommended to get the paratha for when my girlfriend ordered the chicken wrap. I ordered the beef paya stew. The owner was very well-spoken when she chatted with us while the food was being prepared and when it came out we were floored. My girlfriend couldn't get enough of the creamy green sauce that came with the chicken tikka boti wrap, which itself was a riot. The paya stew I ordered was very rich and flavorful and paired perfectly with the garlic naan she suggested. The owner provided an enjoyable and memorable experience for us here and the food was exceptional!! Would come back again, 10/10 would recommend!! P.S. I haven't tried it myself but the owner mentioned an all-you-can-eat buffet that sounded like a great deal during lunch on certain days, and on Sunday that includes their paya (yum!). read more

Sometimes she is sane and talks normally but most of the times she has been downright rude. On asking her why she does not serve weekend lunch buffets - she told me that only the cheapskates look for weekend buffets. Its been more than couple of months since i have been to this place owing to mostly the erratic timings during afternoon. Google claims that this place is open at 11 while twice i went there and it was closed and there were few unfortunate patrons wondering what happened as they came to the place based on recommendations. Today i called and they said its open and refused to acknowledge that they missed opening on time last month. Nevertheless, i went there at 12:30 PM and still the lunch buffet was not kept there. when it was served, i noticed that chicken tikka was cold while the veg samosa and seekh kebab was missing. I was told that veg samosa is served only during specials and seekh kebab will take some time. Kebab didnt even made it to the table till i was almost full. The same rice has chicken, goat and veg pieces placed in to make it three types of biryani. Also, the same cold chicken tikka was in the gravy to term it as chicken tikka masala. There was no sweet dish there. The owner was so rude that we didnt even feel like going and complaining that the sweet dish is not there. The service was abysmal. When we asked for water, we were told to go fill it up ourselves at the buffet table. when we asked for Samosa, we were told that there is enough food for the price. The host may be a good cook but the taste is not worth the arrogance and lack of service. I would anyday go to Anjappar which opened nearby last month and serves with a warm smile not a scorn and frown on the face. The food was ready after 40 minutes, so I went to pick it, asked the woman (I will NOT call her a lady) if the SILVERSPOON rolls were similar to the ones in Karachi Pakistan, she rudely said we are from here!! Why name the restaurant Pakistani Bistro, if you can't own up to it??? I took the food, sat in my car and opened the rolls, the Bihari kabob was not Cooked properly, it was raw, the mint sauce portion was just a teaspoon full, the paratha smelled of stale oil. Went to Silver Spoon yesterday. Very inconspicuous location. It wasn't very busy so we weren't sure what to expect. The decorations didn't indicate the type of food we would enjoy but we were pleasantly surprised. I got the vegetable biryani, two of my colleagues got the chicken biryani and my friend got a spicy potato dish! The food was sooo good. Tasted homemade and very flavorful. Some of use finished our meal before the others even got theirs and we all ordered the same thing. We asked for the check and she just quoted us the amount and walked away.
