The workers are also very friendly, and there's some seating outside. The Chapli Kebab was delicious, flavorful ground beef patties served over some good rice and salad that was also tasty. The chicken platter was just as impressive, with tender, moist chicken that was served on some pita alongside hummus, salad, and fries (these were really good too!). Santa Ana's hidden gem! My husband and I always look for new restaurants/different cuisines to try and this time we stumbled upon this Afghan restaurant on Yelp. Every dish blew us away. The different spices, yogurt, sauces paired well together and created flavors that are undeniably delicious. The BEST Afghan Food This place is sooooo good, we have been coming here almost every week and every time it's super delicious and the service is always outstanding. We found this place after heading to get tacos but the nearby restaurant was too loud for us. This place is oozing with personality, very cozy and well decorated. The service was fast and polite. The food was delicious. This place offers Mediterranean and Indian fusion, we had the chicken tikka masala and it was excellent, but hadn't tried any Mediterranean food, though most of the people there were ordering Mediterranean food and it looked great too. You know how you can tell if a Chinese restaurant is good based on how many Chinese people eat there? Yeah, it's the same here, this place is clearly popular with the locals. Additionally, when you're a restaurant business owner feedback should be received with grace and not emotion or anger. I saw this restaurant on a story by Rachel Brown on Eyewitness News. I stopped here for lunch and lucky for us the owner was there. He was very nice and explained every dish. I had the Shishlik Kebab. It's a meat of your choice mixed with broccoli, onions, and shredded carrots. I got it with lamb served spicy. You can order it without spice. Traditionally you're not supposed to eat it spicy. It was the most delicious lamb I've ever had. It was cooked well done and was very tender and flavorful. I practically licked the plate. The restaurant is an Afghan decor and has outdoor seating. It's in a shopping center so it's a great lunch spot or a place you would like to order at the counter and grab a seat. read more

Nested in a shopping center, Kebab Kurry Express is a hidden gem. It has Indian/ Afghanistan/ Mediterranean cuisines. The place is nice and clean. They have outdoor seating as well. I opted to sit indoors for the AC. I believe it was the owner who recommended me what to get. He was really sweet and helped navigate through the menu. I ordered the Chapli Kebab. (See photo). It was so flavorful and paired with rice/salad. Perfect for a lunch meal. This kind of Kebab is a flattened ground beef with a bunch of spices. You can get it non spicy or spicy. I chose the non spicy and got their hot sauce on the side. You must try their home made hot sauce. It's a hot sauce like no other. It has spices and other things in it. Not a hot sauce like you normally would get but it's bursting with flavor. Oh, another item I ordered was the Hummus. It's creamy and delicious. Also, the warm garlic naan was so good.
