My fiancé and I went here today to watch Space Jam! Overall, our experience was good, but like other reviewers mention they are a lot of things lacking. To begin, I will start with the positives. As we walked in, the check-in process was seamless. The hostess greeted and checked us in. The movie theater was easy to navigate and appeared to be very nice. Once we entered the movie theater, it was easy to find our seats. Once seated, there was a QR code for the menu, a physical menu, and silverware on our tables. We scanned the QR code and looked over the menu. The menu looked pretty good. As we started adding food items to our cart, a server approached us, and took our food and drink orders instead. He did mention they are usually understaffed, but we were at the first showing of the day (12:00 P.M.). We ordered the strawberry Mojito, truffle mushroom flatbread, peach Moscow mule, truffle fries, and the veggie flatbread. The machine was down, so the server had to take my card to process the order. The drinks came out very fast and the food came out shortly after. The food was slightly disappointing. It wasn't as fresh as I would have liked it, especially being the first people of the day. The drinks were really good, but I don't think we would come back to eat here. The bathrooms also needed some attention. I tried to go into several stalls and they all needed to be cleaned. This seems like a major issue, as I saw a few other reviews mention the same thing. Overall, this place is good to watch a movie and maybe get a drink, but there definitely needs to be some improvements to the overall service and experience. They do offer happy hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I would be interested in going back for drinks only. read more

Overall we have enjoyed our theatre experience at Silverspot. Food and drinks were great and the customer served always been awesome. Dining prices are equivalent to in-dining restaurant prices but happy hour drink prices are great. Rating is an average for the following (more details below) 4 - food and drinks 5 - customer service 4 - pricing 2 - rewards program We've been to Silverspot twice now and have always enjoyed the food. Some dishes may not be repeats for us, but overall food, drinks and popcorn are tasty. (Note: we've had and liked the Disco truffle fries, sweet potato fries, burger, strip steak, and salmon. Pretzel bites themselves were good but the cheese was more beer than cheese tasting to our liking. Battered bacon had way too much batter.). Drinks themselves weren't consistent from our first visit to our second, but still good. They did change their happy hour specials, extending the days but increasing the price - $8 M-Th still isn't bad though. And pricing overall is fair. Customer service has always been great. Staff is helpful and friendly. In general, there is a large push to sign up for their rewards program which is where my gripe comes in. If you sign up, it's easiest if you purchase your tickets through their app. This ensures any food purchased and assigned to your seat will count towards your points. If you don't buy your tickets on their app, check in early and give your Rewards info so your food purchases will be counted towards your Rewards. At least that's what we were told. I don't know how bar purchases work or food purchases made directly on the app because neither of our purchases made this way counted towards points. We were told that if we want to count purchases within 30 days that weren't applied, we just need to show our receipt at the check in desk and the manager will add it to our account. It's been almost a week since we did that and my Rewards account still show 0 points and we've spent a good amount in our first 2 visits. This is pretty disappointing considering how much they advertise and push their rewards program. If this isn't important to you or not a big deal, then the Silverspot movie experience and food as a whole will be great for you. Theatre seats are super comfortable, and parking is validated. Just like Atlantic station, when you get it validated, make sure the bar code for validation is printed when they hand your parking ticket back to you. We will definitely be back, though the weekday showings are probably when we'll come!for the happy hour and things probably won't be as busy/crowded. read more

Food was AMZAZING!! I was shocked though that the screen quality wasn't as big or clear as most theaters! I was also furious that it wasn't clear where to validate for parking! My parking ticket cost me $30!!! And I couldn't back up and go back into the movie theaters because there were people behind me! I didn't take photos of my food because the movie had already started! This is one theater you should just come and watch a quick movie. Don't spend any additional money. It's true what the other reviews say, the food is not worth it, thrown together and prepared in a questionable environment. Ordered a salad added chicken. Salad should have came with some kinda "Parmesan crisp" as pictured on the menu. It did not. The grilled chicken they put on the side of it had to be based in the entire salt jar. Very salty. The simple and tasteless salad took about 30 minutes to come out. Lackluster is putting it nicely. Wish I could get my money back. They also made my friend carry her food into the theater, no tray. Please note happy hour is only at the bar you will not be able to participate from the menu at your seat. Best bet is to bring a snack or eat afterwards after at the many restaurants at the battery. I really enjoyed this place. It's cleaner, the food is better, and seats are very comfortable. They have a good selection of drinks and cocktails that are reasonably priced in comparison to the rest of the Battery. You don't need a ticket to eat or drink at the bar area inside. I had the short rib tacos and was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. They had soft shell wrapped around the hard shell with queso in between them. I definitely will be back. read more

This was a great COVID friendly date night or family outing . The service was 10/10 the food was about a 7/10. Sliders and regular fries was delicious , could have been served warmer . The Jasmine rice bowl with tuna was a lot of food but wasn't seasoned well at all even after getting extra sauce. My husband and I was excited to come to this theater for the first time at the Battery. We've been to Cinnebistro several times and thought this was somewhat the same, but everything we ordered they were out of. It started at the bar. Corona's was on the menu, but they were out. So we sat down in the theater and ordered dinner. They were out of the salmon, the tacos, and something else I ordered as a starter. It was quite disappointing. Especially since it was a Friday night at a 7:30pm showing. I settled on the kale salad with the cheese crisp, but my cheese was chewy nothing crisp about it. Other than that, the theater was clean and the service was great. I don't think we will go again. It was one of those things we experienced but we weren't impressed. read more

Theatre is pretty nice, but dirty. Maybe due to staff availability post COVID. There was popcorn under the arm wrest. Went into 3 bathroom stalls and they all needed to be cleaned..Food was alright, pricey but you expect that in places like this. It was way too cold though!! I normally bring a jacket anyway but with it it was still too cold... at first I thought it was just me, then I heard people near me kept sneezing and made the same comments. Excited to try a new theatre, especially post COVID, my friend and I were slightly disappointed. The best parts of our experience were the reclining chairs and the drinks (strawberry mojito and old fashioned). Although the service was great, the food was lacking. We ordered the crispy shrimp which left a lot to be desired in flavor and texture. The parmesan truffle fries had great potential, but were lukewarm. What a fantastic theater experience! It has a very high-end feel from the moment you walk in, and the ticket prices are comparable to AMC. We saw the Eternals, and I am a bit of a snob for big blockbusters, so I was a bit bummed to not get to experience it in a premium format like Dolby, however the picture quality was very good, most people would not be able to tell the difference, but I could tell the color depth was not quiiiiiiiite as good as Dolby Cinema at AMC. The sound was amazing, and the amenities outshine any of the very nit picky gripes I had with the picture quality. The seats are SUPER comfortable, the recline a lot, the food trays and cupholders being able to swing out right in front of you are super nice, and all of the food that we tried was very good. Didn't try anything from the bar. We're hesitant to go to a screening if there are too many people typically because of the pandemic, and the way each row in the theater has a very tall wall behind it, made us feel like we'd be okay even during a packed screening. Speaking of the walls, they help a lot with reducing audience noise. I could hear someone's phone going off in the back, but it wasn't nearly as distracting as when it's happened in other theaters. Seats are comfy and automated to recline and put feet up. I wish I would have taken a pic in the bathroom, it was totally cool and picture worthy! The theatre was nice and the concept is good for a party or gathering. Went to the bar and was ignored for 5 minutes until I just decided to head to our seats... there is no instructions nor signs on how to order so I was finally told I can order from my seat, ordered on the app, tip, paid then 20 minutes go by and we decided to try the bar again ordering 2 doubles that werent doubles. Wait another 30 by now the movie is on..... 50 minutes after ordered we go to check on the food and they claim no order was received. There were 3 groups of 2 people in our showing that all got food served and nobody checked on us... I'm not sure what the confusion or issue was but we got no apology just a refund. It's costs too much to be not on point. Not you mention watch you parking entry time and out time of the lot across from it they will try and charge you even tho your first 3 hours are free. read more

The waitress only comes to you once, right when you get there. After that, you have to use a QR code to order and type in your credit card info to pay (which takes some serious focusing in a dark room where you're trying to pay attention to a movie). My QR code didn't work, my husbands didn't work, and my friend next to me let me borrow her phone to try and order wouldn't process on hers either. At one point a waiter passed by and I told him our code wasn't working and he said "okay no problem I'll go grab your server!" She never came. At that point the movie was more than halfway over so it wasn't worth it. Would've been nice to have a $10 popcorn and $4 water though!!!!!! Aside from that, this is a beautiful and clean and comfortable movie theater with chairs that completely recline. More comfortable than a movie at home. There are no theaters that can compete with the overall look and feel of this place. It makes you feel like you're in a high end hotel lobby initially when you walk in... then you're off to see your show! No need to wait in long concession lines... the food will come to you! The actual theater itself is nice but nothing too special. The seats were nice, reclined back and very comfortable. The service was HORRIBLE. We sat down probably 10 min before the show. Our server served the two couples beside us but didn't even look our way. We saw there was a contactless order option where you could order online and they bring the food. We ordered the food but the drinks were different online, So we hunted down another server from a different section. He was nice enough to put our drink orders in. We received our food maybe 20 min after ordering. It had missing items in our order and didn't bring them all together. The salmon entree came with spinach and some type of fried rice cake and it was a little tough to eat. The salmon was absolutely delicious and the portions were great. The Silverspot Cinema is definitely an experience. One cannot possibly walk through the door expecting a bargain. One is to prepare themself to be wowed... at a price and there is NOTHING wrong with that! When my husband and I came in, we were simply coming to grab a drink and possible appetizer. Surprisingly, the cinema was very empty for a Saturday afternoon. We approached the bar, were greeted by the bartender and then quickly overwhelmed by the stench of mold, bacteria and sludge from the drains, not to mention excessive fruit flies- indicative of poor sanitation. The smell was so overwhelming my husband became nauseated causing us to leave. Conclusion: If someone is expected to pay a premium for drinks, service and the Silverspot Cinema experience, the least the location can do is be clean! As a former health inspector, I unfortunately know too much when it comes to 'behind the scenes'. Should the front of the house/ bar area be unsatisfactory, more than likely the kitchen is functioning on a similar or lower level of sanitation and that's not a risk (especially at this price point) that I'm willing to take! read more

This review is long overdue. We visited this theater for the opening weekend of One Love, & Niya is ah-mazing. She provides excellent customer service. There was a promotion for the pomegranate mimosa which I couldn't pass up because I make it my business to try everything that is pomegranate flavored. Anyways, we went to the bar to place an order & Niya asked if we needed help. I told her I wanted to try the pom mimosa & she informed us that the bar hadn't opened yet. We said "ok!" & prepared to walk away but she offered to still make the drink for us to try if we wanted. Thank you, Niya! You went out your way to accommodate us even though the bar was closed! I'm very disappointed in Silver Spot. My boyfriend and I always bragged about this location but after last night I cannot support this business. For starters, it's Covid! I assumed all the seats were sold out because they would use every other seat to safely social distant but no, you are sitting right next to another party. Two, my movie started at 9pm and once we came to check in we were notified that kitchen was closing in 30 mins so we basically needed to hurry and make our selections or it would be too late. If you have movie showings as late as 9:45pm, why would you close the kitchen at 9:30pm? All that tells me is that you're rushing to prepare my food and drinks or that I am receiving food that is not fresh. Honestly, I go to silver spot specially for the food and drinks. Once we ordered our food, which was basically finger foods and salad.. the door took 20 mins to even to us. A waitress then brought our drinks to the party sitting next to us and then tried to hand it back to us and it was the the wrong order! The fries were COLD. My boyfriend ordered chicken tenders which he never got and I ordered a kale salad with shrimp which I never received. No one came back to check on us or even make sure we were satisfied with our service and food. I paid $79 for food and drinks which half of the order I didn't even receive. My boyfriend had to physically go down to the front area and ask who could we speak with about the unpleasant service and missing items and he was advised to wait for the movie to end. Once the movie ended, we went to the front desk and no staff was around. No one was there, all the lights were off and everyone was gone! We couldn't even speak with anyone. Went here for date night for a 9:45pm movie. We obviously planned to eat and drink because why else come to a movie that serves food. When we got to our seat we tried to order food and drinks and they told us the kitchen was closed. But this was never mentioned while we were buying tickets 5 mins earlier. But show doesn't not come on. I hear from other patrons there is mechanical problem. Half hour later, no official word about refunds but hear from a patron that he got refund. We visited on a Sunday afternoon. The theater is beautiful, staff was very friendly but the food was horrible; the bar drinks were really good. My husband and I spent over $170 on Steak and Salmon meals plus Appetizers, Desert and Drinks and only took 1 or 2 bites from each item. We left there extremely hungry and went to Texas Roadhouse where we were very pleased. Not sure if an alternate Chef was working that Sunday but we were so disappointed and hungry!! The movie theater is beautiful and the chairs are very comfortable. this is where the experience ends for me. There are not quite enough food options, and they are all very underwhelming. We had the salmon while watching RESPECT, and it would have been significantly more tasty had the sushi rice patty been crisped on the outside to complement the extremely overcooked rice inside . Some highlights however are they time the delayed items very well and the staff is very discreet in their delivery of items. We were in theater 5 last night and it seemed like the sound was all up front despite one of the previews claiming it was surround sound. Overall a decent first time, we are going to try again this week to see candyman. read more

Silverspot Cinema.......Parking was a nightmare because they don't have dedicated parking for customers only visiting the theater. We had to park on the roof of the parking garage ... checked the websites parking info and it said 3 hours complimentary parking with an additional hour free with the cinema's validation.... Once our movie was over, we made the trek back to the car. Got to the first exit , inserted the ticket and was promoted to pay $20..... we were within the 3 hours so we called for assistance.... Assistance never came and a car pulled up behind us . To be considerate of the car behind us we backed out and went to the ground floor exit where we entered thinking there'd be an attendant like when we arrived. There wasn't an attendant, once the ticket was entered , again it prompted us to pay $20. So we called for assistance again. After some time, someone answered the phone, we told her the issue, she said something unintelligible and then disappeared. We waited to see if she would come back but didn't so we called for assistance again. This time another lady answered the phone, we again, told her the issue...she told us to hold on , disappeared, then reappeared asking what the issue was again. For the third time we told her the issue. She tried to explain that since the battery was having an event the complimentary parking was shorten to two hours from three hours . We said we'd been in the cinema and per the website it said three hours. With no apologies or further relevant information. She asked for our name and then opened the gate.... This is my third time visiting Silverspot in the last two months. The facility is always clean and inviting. Great option for date night. On this visit, there was a problem with the projector (or whatever the modern technical system is nowadays.) The manager came out to apologize for the late showing. She explained with the problem was. She told us that she was attempting to rectify the situation and hoped to get the movie going shortly. In the meantime, she offered a free item on the menu and the option of selecting a different movie or seeing this movie another day. The staff came out to take the additional concession orders at the theater's expense. I didn't see anyone leave. As we patiently waited, she was able to get the moving going and to her smart thinking and credit, she skipped past the previews and went directly to the movie we came to see. This young woman is clearly management material and knows how to handle an uncomfortable, high pressure situations. I heard her name (Nisha, maybe) twice, but unfortunately didn't write it down. . This place is okay. They let you bring in your own food and drinks so I like it in that regard. Especially because it takes WAY too long to get your food anyways. There are lots of better restaurants in the Battery anyways so being able to walk in and already have my food it great! Aside from that it's nothing really exceptional. The theaters are always just clean enough which explains their 81 health score. The staff is friendly but the managers are lazy. Ive been coming here for a while so I know they have at least 4 managers. I promise almost every time I go one of them is on his personal phone in the lobby or outside. It sucks because when the front desk needs help he's not there to give it. The GM is very snooty and condescending when he's helping guest. Then there is Niya. I learned he name recently because I witnessed how rudely she was speaking to her staff. She felt the need to inform the employee that they were disposable and that she was tired of "wrangling kids around the damb theater." Honestly the sound and the screen are great! Recently they have had issues with their AC which is unacceptable when you are forcing customers to pay for a bottle of water instead letting them have glasses of free tap water (apparently its "new company policy" to charge for water. They have nice servers(Anna and George and Jayden)and great bartenders(Jake and Paul) so hopefully you get to interact with one of them to make your visit worth it. read more

Today the movie was great (Sound of Freedom) but everything else was not a good experience. Actually it was pretty bad. Parking was full and elevators were not working, food app was not working, staff standing around not being helpful, missed the first 20 minutes of movie standing in line to order food. They did not have the majority of what was on the menu. All food paid for but not all food delivered. It feels like a lot of businesses that start out in Atlanta strong.
