I've been here a few times but last night was disappointing. We got to our theatre and it had not been cleaned. There were 2 food servers in there that didn't alert management until we said something. They came and cleaned - fine. We had just come from dinner and asked if the brownie for dessert was warm. Our server replied yes and It was her favorite. Our order came and it was not warm and they forgot our plastic-ware two times!! Ugh, I want to like this place but it seems like they still have some issues to work on. read more

This has the potential to be a great spot to see a film. Unfortunately the cinema we were in was dirty with popcorn and candy being stuck in the seats, and the theater being completely understaffed. We just walked into the theater as there was no one there to check tickets. The concession s only had two people working there. The pluses are there is a great menu but as I write we have waited 20 minutes for someone to deliver our drinks to us in the theater. If there is going to be a complex menus with food and drinks, you need a full complement of staff. Would we come back? Probably to see if the theater corrects its issues. But on Memorial Day it was a mess. read more

I love this theater! It's clean, welcoming, and well kept. The popcorn is always fresh and is the only theater that I'll actually eat popcorn from (I know, weird thing to be picky about). But they also offer other restaurant-style food and a good selection of wine and beer, and you can order from your seat too and they'll bring it right to you. The theaters have comfy leather lounge chairs that make it more relaxed and makes you feel like you're watching it from home. This is my favorite movie theater! read more

Went to this theater yesterday after not having been to a movie there in quite a while due to Covid. We were so disappointed and quite frankly annoyed at their "delivery " service in the theater while the movie is playing. There is a message that goes up on the screen AFTER ALL THE TRAILERS ARE SHOWN saying Last Call for Orders. HOWEVER, these orders were delivered to the people sitting next to us a good 10 minutes into the movie!!! And a large order as the server walked in front of us back and forth 3 times!!!! While you might think this is a good customer service idea, it's not fair after spending $34 to see a movie! read more

A nice restaurant attached to the facility that serves some real food and not just theater junk. Silverspot Cinema is a relatively new movie theater at the Promenade in Coconut Creek. When you walk in, it doesn't even look like a movie theater. It looks like a restaurant with this grand bar. You can buy movie tickets online or at the virtual ticket stands. There is a desk to purchase tickets if you don't know how to do it virtually. This is a great location for a movie theater because it's surrounded by tons of restaurants and an IT'SUGAR nearby! The theater I sat in to see IT Chapter 2 had comfortable seats, but they didn't recline. I'm not sure if this is the case for all the theaters. However, I will be coming back soon for other movies coming out. It's a 20 min drive for me and it's worth it. read more

Best movie theater ever. Service, decor, convenience, comfort, cleanliness, accommodations and great pop corn, by the way. My family and I went there today, it was a rainy day and I parked out at the front door. Amazingly, Connor, was holding the door while my wife and I were unfolding the stroller for our new born. I found that super polite and appreciative from this young employee. Then Jesse took his time to show us the way because we were a little late. He was also a Great employee. Jerry Ernst, the GM, always there greeting everyone with a huge smile on his face!!! I think this movie theatre is in a fantastic location. There are plenty of restaurants, and shopping in the coconut creek promenade so it's fun to do dinner and a movie here, since it is super convenient. There is s parking garage strictly for the theatre so you don't have to worry about parking. Also, when you walk in it is very modern looking. You are greeted by a nice bar in the center and a restaurant on your right side with the concession stand straight ahead. The concession stand has gourmet food options too! I ordered the mozzarella caprese sandwich, and it comes with delicious fries. Here's a tip: when you order hot food here, they offer to bring it to your seat. Yeah.....just wait for it there. We have had them bring it to us twice...the first time they forgot!! Second time, the food took a really long time to get to us because they were running behind. Also, the seats do not recline which in this time period is a little old school. BUT the seats are leather and comfy so I'm cool with it. I already have plans to come back! read more

Awesome experience with this cinema. We were in the middle of Wonder Woman when the movie began skipping. At first there didn't seem to be much of any response from the employees. Finally, one of them came in and informed us there were technical difficulties. He offered the entire theater a free drink while we waited and the waiters walked around taking orders. We waited it out but 20 minutes later was told they would not be able to resolve the issues quickly. We were offered refunds and a free voucher for our next movie. To this day, I still have not seen Wonder Woman. I also have never had a movie skip on me like that. However, I will give them 5 stars because their employees did go above and beyond to make sure customers were not inconvenienced any more than necessary. read more

We've been meaning to check out Silverspot Cinemas for the longest time and Wonder Woman finally brought us here! Without a doubt of the best movie theaters in S. Florida, though it's not without some flaws. For the good, location is awesome. The Promenade is one of the nicest areas to hang out in N. Broward with lots of restaurants, shops, plus free parking. The movie theater itself is very modern and chic. Love that you can order real food, drinks, desserts and bring them to your seat. The seats are very comfortable! Like iPic's but they do not recline. The screen quality was great and sound was awesome! You really get that rumbling in the action scenes. For the so so, food was good enough though not great. Flatbreads were ok, some were more crispy and burnt than others. The crispy chicken sandwich was very good! Price for the food was good for a movie theater. For the not so good, the ordering process from your seat. I was under the impression that there would be a call button on every seat but we could not find one! Kept trying to get the server's attention during the previews and eventually had to get up and order from the back of the theater. Then it was three separate visits to our seat - first to sign the printed receipt, second was the drink delivery and finally the food. It was definitely distracting and I felt bad for everyone else on our row. This is something they can definitely work on as iPic has it down and you never feel like the food is interrupting the movie. Despite some flaws, Silverspot is awesome! The ticket prices are so reasonable for everything they offer, and they excelled on the top things I look for in a movie theater: great video quality, great sound, and comfy seats. read more

Ohhhhh my god!! This place is luxury and classic all In one. When I first walked in I thought I was in Brad Pritt's living room. It looks like it was decorated by someone in Hollywood, there's books on shelves, old style movie recorders, comfy chairs and a nice aura throughout. I wasn't even inside the theater yet and I was blown away on how I felt there. The decorator did a fantastic job. You always say you want to feel like ur home when u go to the movies and that's how it felt like you were in a living room but not yours or mine but a famous, rich actor! Then I notice there is an awesome looking bar and restaurant. Darn! If I would of known I would of definitely ate there first. I can see by scanning people's plates that the lobster roll is a favorite and boy does it look yummy. I make a mental note that I will be back to try it next time. We definitely go to the concession stand to pick up some dessert. Ladies and gentleman we have the first movie theater that had cheesecake in a jar. Oh my god and key lime pie in a jar. I am in shock they are fantasy and the prices are not bad. I can't tell you exactly because my mom treated but I can tell you that they are what you would expect to pay. We also got the dark chocolate Brookestones with blueberries inside. Yep! They had that too. I am a little bit of a snob about candy and can do without the regular movie theater selection. When I saw all the different types of dessert I did what any yelper would do. I tried all of them. I even got the little bon bon icecream. By the way everyone is super friendly! Are you ready for this: Jake was heading out the door, taking off his tag, when he saw we were lost. It cannot be easier, it's numbered and its a straight shot but yes we looked confused. He came to our aide and walked us right to our seat! Thanks Jake that was above and beyond customer service. I got the middle of the middle. If your wondering which seats its G9,10 & 11. This time I can tell you exactly how much it cost because I was in charge of tickets. I'm still in FAU and my sister goes to Nova so our tickets were only $11 what a deal!!!!!! My moms ticket was $14 (worth it). I cannot believe they still honor student discounts on the weekends. Every theater I have ever been to stopped that a long time ago. Thank you sooooooo much for taking it easy on the students, it is much appreciated. You can have waiters come to your seat if you want. There is a call button. This was the first time since the March 2020 lockdown that I have gone to this theater. Customer service is good. Food is decent - good variety of food & beverage for all age groups. Seats are comfortable. Only complaint would be the chairs and attached tables could be cleaner. The inside of some of the chairs had popcorn and food crumbs from other types of food stuck between the seat cushion and arm rest. read more

Excellent movie theater! Love the comfy leather chairs, I just wish they would recline. The staff were very friendly and the theater was kept very clean (there is nothing worse than sticky floors). I went with a large group and there were many changes that had to be made to our tickets/seating and the staff were very helpful with resolving all of our last minute additions and cancellations. I think this is in a fantastic location as you have tons of options for food and drink prior to. There is plenty of parking with a garage next door so no worries on opening night here! Did I mention they have an excellent rewards program? Reduced tickets and no cost to enroll... just sayin! read more

Self service tickets, a full bar, a red carpet as you walk in, and a bunch of other services offered. You can't get better than that. This theater offers a large amount of parking along with a garage so don't be afraid you won't get parking. Immediately as you walk in, it's a very modern and clean decor and environment. The self service kiosks are techy and show how we have progressed from traditional ticket servers. The full service bar and food menu is great and although not new, is a great feature to have in a movie theater. All the seats are lofty and almost to the level of recliners. The handicap seats in the front are however fully reclinable. If you decide you want a food or a drink you can order at any time form inside the theater and a server will bring the food to you. They even have a full service cafe within the theater in case you want more than just a snack. Silverspot has definitely impressed me as a great theater and is probably my new go to for when I want to watch a new movie. read more

Really nice theater!! Went here for the first time with my wife and I must say we really enjoyed the experience. The place is super modern and the staff was very friendly and helpful. While we did not have a chance to eat at the restaurant the food that came out the kitchen looked very good lots of clean plates going back to the kitchen the theater itself had some of the most comfortable seats I have sat on at a theater. This theater in my opinion was well ran, organized, super clean, with great services. Will certainly be back to this establishment. read more

My favorite movie theater in South Florida! *SPOILER ALERT* The membership here is FREE! That's right guys, FREE! You can sign up online and get your card when you visit the theater, or sign up when you walk in to buy your tickets. This will reduce the cost $2 when you purchase a ticket, but also allow you to build points (like any rewards program does) and use those points towards tickets, concessions, and more! It is basically just a rewards program, that even if you visit one time is worth it for the discount. Just my opinion!!! We live less than 5 minutes from this theater so when I first tried it out, I was so happy that it was so great. We come here anywhere from 2-3 times a month for the movies. The theater is always clean and very spacious. Even on opening movie nights, I never feel the overwhelming anxiety that you can get when visiting a regular theater. Went to see Rouge One the night it came out expecting to have a crazy experience, and even though it was a full house, I felt like we were the only ones there. Yes the seats don't allow for you to "cuddle" RIGHT up against someone next to you, but my fiance still get comfortable and we both quite enjoy it. It also allows for you to not feel like the stranger next to you is right on top of you - something that can be quite bothersome to me. You get to pick your seats in advance (which most theaters offer now) so there is never an issue with seating. Okay so the seats don't recline, I'm a small person and don't feel the need, but they are big seats and you can still sit comfortably at any level. The food here is great, I wouldn't say that it is much more overpriced than any other movie theater concession stand and at least the meals are FRESH! Most theaters that serve food tastes like it comes from the freezer and was warmed up in a microwave. They have much better food and quality here, in my opinion. You can have your food delivered right to your seat so you don't have to miss previews, as well as there is usually an attendant waiting in the theater to help you out. Overall - I think if you enjoy going to the movies and you enjoy having comfort and space - it's worth every penny to come. Last night we went to see the 11 PM showing of Upgrade. At 11, the pre-show content ended and then the screen went blank. At 11:25, after some back-and-forth, someone came in to tell us that the movie would start in about 10 minutes. The lights went down, and we promptly watched the same 20-minute pre-show (ads, trivia, and mini-docs) again. At 11:45, the screen went blank after the pre-show, exactly where it did before. After about 2 minutes, we got up to go get a refund. At no point did anyone offer an apology for the inconvenience. Also, their snack bar is absurdly expensive (for a theater, that is) and the portions are smaller than any other area theater. There's no way two people could share a small popcorn, for example - it would be gone before previews ended. Two starts because getting a refund was painless once we asked, but we won't be going back. read more

I love this theater! The seats are extra wide leather with two drink holders - they don't recline like other theaters but I find the recliners put me to sleep :) the front row seats have love seats and one or two ottomans to put your feet up. Excellent offerings of food and drink here - including a full bar. I'm not sure but I do believe you can bring your cocktails into the theater. They even have desserts from Batter co - which are amazing. Bathrooms are clean and plentiful. You can't buy tickets on fandango for this theater but you can go to their website and do so. read more

Great new movie theater located at the Promenade in Coconut Creek. With all the new trending varieties of food and beverage based theater venue options penetrating the market, this is the best I have found that has blended the homie nature of a traditional theater with an uplift in modern accommodations. As you enter, there is a small one-man ticket station on the right for purchasing tickets by credit card only. Along the left wall are kiosks to purchase your tickets yourself where you can also pay with cash, with the screen prompt options to choose your pre-assigned seats. There is a cocktail bar area in the center serving beer, wine and hard liquor. The cocktails are actually served in glasses, with a tall Pilsner for beer which you can bring into the theater. Behind the bar section is also a regular concession stand for soda, popcorn and such. I found all the staff incredibly helpful and nice, and the theater itself clean and well maintained. The theater has the typical new style curved screens with wide high-back stadium style seats providing numerous cup holders on each side which easily hold your beverage of choice. I will definitely be back for another visit to this theater. read more

I've been to Silverspot a number of times now, and it's becoming my got to movie theater in the area. The proximity to my house and it's location in the Promenade have a little bit to do with that. There are definitely a few issues I have here. The parking can be kind of hectic, especially on weekends, but I love to walk, so I end up looking farther away and don't have as much of a problem. Not matter what you do don't get yourself involved in the roads that run through the promenade. Stay in the outer lots and garages. Another thing is that this theater is a little pricey. $14.50 per ticket is steep, I remember when my grandmother used to give me $5 to go to the movies. Anyway, the steep price tag definitely comes with some benefits. This theater is brand new with super comfy "leather" arm chairs, and the theaters have plenty of space between the aisles so getting up doesn't result in bugging everyone around you. If you sit in the front row you also get an ottoman, and the way it's set up the front row isn't nearly as awful as it sounds. Each chair armrest has two cup holders so there's no need to fight over that. The bathrooms here are really gorgeous as well, and a special tip, some of the theaters (maybe all but I'm not positive as I only noticed this on my last visit) have access to an upstairs hallways which also has restrooms, so take a look around to find your closest exit. I've seen a number of movies here, and as with any movie theater, if you don't like crowds, and you don't want annoying people in your movie, go to the latest showing, especially on a week night, but as I mentioned these theaters are set up well, so crowded seating isn't really an issue, and the higher prices seem to keep the majority of the rowdy high school students away. The staff here is always super friendly and helpful. The first movie I saw here it was POURING rain and the guys at the door had them opened for us and towels and umbrella bags waiting to get ourselves dried off once we got inside. I am signed up for their rewards program, but I haven't been enough times to reap any of the rewards yet. You earn a certain number of points per dollar spent which can get you popcorn and such. Oh the concessions here are higher end while they have basic popcorn soda and candy, they also have beer wine and hot food. There is also a bar and restaurant in the lobby if you want to make dinner and a movie all in one place, and I hear there's a decent happy hour at the bar. read more
