We had a problem with our front door deadbolt lock, it would get stuck and not open. We called Silverstate and made an appointment for the next day, they would have came that day but we decided the next morning would be better. Cameron was our locksmith he came right on time, and figured out the problem right away. It wasn't the lock it was where the lock hits and he changed that with much longer screws and drilling a better space for the deadbolt to hit in. Job done in about a half hour. Cameron is a talented locksmith and knows how to speak to customers with tact and politeness. I can't thank Cameron and Silverstate enough for fixing our front door. Accidentally forgot my key at my sister-in-laws house out of state with everything that was going on. Decided to call a locksmith as I have a set inside. Called this company and although they are available at odd hours I took issue with a few things: 1. The worker did not identify himself, he was just in a shirt that says locksmith on the back and in a personal car. 2. The worker did NOT request for ID. I could have been at anyones house asking a locksmith company to professionally break into a home that may not have been mine. 3. I specifically asked that if he could not lock pick my high security lock then I did not want him to do anything to that lock. What did he later do? after seeing if he could get in through the garage,unsuccessfully by the way, he goes up to the high security lock with his drill and starts drilling. I had to quickly stop him before he did any further damage. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was going to try to open with the drill and I said no I don't want that destroyed because it was costly to install and it'll be costly to replace. Then he proceeded to agree with me saying that he has one himself and admits those are hard to get in to and had he gone through with the drill would have charged me with $300! So he knew it would be difficult, knew it would be costly, heard me say earlier I didn't want that lock destroyed but purposefully tried to destroy it anyways WITHOUT my permission!! 4. He then proceeds to use his other tool and says "see this door is locked." Like no shit Sherlock it's kinda why I called to begin with. That added absolutely no freakin value. 5. He then gives me two absolutely asinine options: "If you have the key I can make a copy" or break a window. Sir- if I had the key for you to make a copy I wouldn't need to call you. Sir-if I wanted an expensive double paned window broken I would have done it myself without your stupidity or charged for it. Suffice to say we ended up going to a hotel for the night and had my sister-in-law FedEx my key. read more

Look no further!!! These guys are truly amazing. The real deal!! After we got completely scammed by a different company yesterday, we were left with a hole in our front door. Deadbolt that didn't lock properly and out 3200 dollars for work that should have cost maybe 500. We called Ezra this morning and he sent out Albert right away after we told him what happened. They completely replaced three door knobs and 3 deadbolts on 3 doors and fixed the hole in front door. I sent in a form for a consult. They replied immediately. I got a text asking for my phone number & address. The reply was "I'm heading your way now". I have this weird back door that is French & my handle is stripped. Went to Home Depot & they've never seen anything like it. Mike shows up. Cameron is amazing!!! He came and fixed two doors in our home in a few hours that other locksmiths said were not fixable and we would have to buy all new doors. One of the locks was missing pieces and he welded metal with his tool to create a piece out of scrap metal he had. He made sure to fill me in while he was working on the locks. They offer a month warranty if something breaks they will come fix it free of charge. Silver state goes above and beyond and their customer service from our locksmith Cameron and the company is on point! My wife and had an unfortunate situation with her car broken into and having her purse stolen which the keyless FOB for her car, the garage door opener and the house keys were attached. I wanted a company that had their Company Brand on their vehicles and employees shirts so those if they did live near by they would know the stolen property had been replaced. SilverState was LESS EXPENSIVE. 2. SilverState did BETTER WORK and in HALF THE TIME! 3. The co-owner himself answered the phone. (Nice to have met you Mike, and THANK YOU VERY MUCH)! 4. The Service Technician, CAMERON, was professional, friendly, explained what he was going to do, brought to my attention problems with my existing lock(s), gave suggestions to improve my security without trying to sell me products, AND asked me to TEST EACH LOCK to ensure I was completely satisfied with his work. 5. CAMERON cut off 3 padlocks of which I no longer had keys (I recently lost my keys). 6. CAMERON changed my community mailbox lock. He also brought to my attention that the PREVIOUS locksmith did not use the required USPS replacement lock. I HAD NO IDEA there was a specific lock to be used on community mailboxes! GOOD TO KNOW! I know this is a lengthy review but SilverState deserves the accolades which go with being an honest, caring, and hard working company.
