I returned from a 2 month deployment to find that my wall safe's batteries had expired. Of course, I have no idea where the backup key is, so I called Silverstate Locksmith. I was able to set up an appointment for the following morning. Ezra showed up right on time and addressed the situation. I needed a locksmith for a residential lockout. I called 3 locksmiths from Yelp. One of them was at the too of the rating list. Silverstate was the only folks to call back. I was out of town, and the fear was that one of the cats was locked in a bedroom in my apartment, no access to food or water. Turned out not to be the case, but anyway, we couldn't make it back fast enough to take care of this worry, too far. So, from another state, we called SilverState locksmith, and Ezra took the call. We also got a hold of a family member. After giving Ezra identity info, he had me take a picture of the key, and then he proceeded to copy the key, and gave it to the family member to open the apartment to check on the cats. It was absolutely amazing and quick. We had no options we thought, but Ezra and SilverState came to the rescue. Oh, and this was all with super bad service as we were at that time, traveling through mountains. So Ezra and team were exceptional. Thanks you. :) And the price was very reasonable too. Having keys made should not be an odyssey. But spoiler: It absolutely was. After going to Lowes and Home Depot to have keys made for my business and none of them fitting in the lock, I opted to go to a Brick-and-Mortar on my lunch break to get some keys made. What a fiasco. The first place had a voice mail that just said, "Leave a message!" The second didn't have an actual location in the plaza that it said and when I called for assistance to locate the establishment, no one picked up the phone. The third... whoo, boy. Valley View and Trop area - just.. no. Sketchy, was lied to on the phone. But after money and time wasted, I hopped on Yelp and having seen all the reviews on here I reached out via the Yelp app and received a response from the owner Ezra. He asked for photos and sent him a few. He explained why the key machines at Lowes and Home Depot were struggling and offered for someone to come to me the next day. He sent a worker who did a great job. He first made a key to test to ensure that they could even do the job and then finding success made copies for me. He tested them all first, and then had me test them as well. There was a fee for them to come out but the extremely reasonable cost per key offset that and I was satisfied. Cameron called before our designated appointment time and said he was available due to finishing a prior job earlier than expected; or we could keep the original appointment; my choice. In this case, earlier was fantastic. We needed the existing USPS lock on our community mailbox box replaced, as the keys were lost. He came over, had me show him the box in question, checked my ID to make sure I was who I said I was, and sent me back to the comfort of my home while he did his work. He replaced the existing USPS lock with a new USPS lock (complete with three keys) in a matter of minutes, then asked me to check his work to make sure it was done to my satisfaction.
