Parking Rates September 2025

Be patient and everything will comes along. Just enjoy and be happy that's why we were here. Just have a nice meal or shopping of $20 or more while you are here that takes a lot of frustration on parking fees/parkingmegaddon. Make sure to bring the parking ticket with you to have it validation!!!

11-26-21 Shhh... this is the best meaning closest parking for Downtown Disney. You proceed to the security checkpoint then you're free to shop, eat, people watch or jive to the live entertainment. Our go tos are Ralph Brennan's for sit down meals then find cool Disney attire or items for omiyage at the big store. After you're done, walk back to your vehicle at the Simba Parking lot. Sometimes like last nite they had cones blocking where you needed to follow the arrow for accessible parking. On a busy Friday evening the entry or exit lines hit up a traffic jam but you can be happy that your walk was shorter back to your car then walking all the way to the top to meet an Uber driver.

Simba Parking is a huge parking lot for those who want to take a stroll, hang out or do some serious shopping at Downtown Disney. If you want to get a close parking spot then i suggest you come early because it does fill up the later it gets in the day. Pricing was reasonable considering its Disney lol Remember to take your belongings and lock your vehicles.

Guest/visitor entrance to Simba Parking off Disneyland Drive.

If it's your first time parking here like it was ours, please note a few things! Pre covid this was the cast member parking lot, but is currently is the Downtown Disney (DTD) District visitor/guest parking lot as well. The Google Maps 'Simba Cast Member Lot' location marker is NOT where guests/visitors enter; the actual entrance is located off Disneyland Drive. If you enter in the Cast Member Lot entrance due to Google Maps like we did, tell the parking attendant, and they will tell you how to exit the lot and enter off Disneyland Dr so you can grab a ticket, ('lost' tickets are $66!). Please see further covid-19 updates & general information on this lot for DTD District on their website here: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/experience-updates/downtown-disney/#drawer-card-guestParkingEntrances DTD District Hours: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/calendars/day/

Parking is $10.00 even if you have a pass this is the only parking for Downtown Disney

The parking here is a lot easier and stress free than parking at Mickey and Friends or the Toy Story parking lot.

Non-likes: - The parking cost in general. Kinda makes Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza appealing with their free parking, doncha think? - They should have a marker on the parking ticket so you KNOW it's validated before you walk back to the parking garage. The FiRE+iCE waiter validated my parking, but the ticket still looks the same. Waitress told me the machine will know via barcode. But when I went to pay, my parking wasn't validated after all. I've been hoodwinked. - If you're facing the two elevators near the plaza as if you're about to enter one, the one on the right wasn't working. We were on floor 2, we stepped in and hit 1, the elevator doors closed but the elevator didn't move. The button didn't even light up. We stepped out, stepped back in, hit 1 again, elevator still didn't move. Don't get stuck in there! oh you're welcome Jasn.

There's no bad parking spot even when parked at the furthest spot. Remember, if you get here before noon they will check your bags at the parking lot and you can enter directly into the park. If not, they will check them at the park. I think it makes the process a little quicker. Recently, they changed buses and I don't like it. They're not as comfortable, they're old, and the level of professionalism is different. I'm going to be mindful though that this is a recent change and they're still working out the kinks. Like today for example, they didn't harness all the wheelchairs before inviting the other guest on the bus so then people had to move when they didn't expect it. It was a crammed mess temporarily. For people needing to change littles or use the restroom before you head home, there's a restroom conveniently located near the entrance for the bus. They even have two family restrooms which is nice when you have disabled children or just children in general.

i prefer this lot over the pixar pal/mickey and friends parking garage!!…read more pros: - much easier to get in the lot compared to the other garage - shorter security literally - drop off is closer to the gates - line to get back on the bus is shorter than tram cons: - $40 (same as the other lot) - much smaller than a tram - may need to stand if busy - i believe it takes longer to get to drop-off spot vs tram

Most people park here because they think it's for the movies but in actually, anyone can park here. I went to go eat at a resturant, stopped by the bank and taking my time, enjoying the breeze while I watch the sunset on the top parking lot floor. You'll be surprised but you don't have to fight for parking on the first floor for safety. I passed so many cars parked along the 3 floors I drove thru to get to the top and it's still half full up here. There's also a working elevator, if your feeling too lazy to walk down the stairs. Plus I'd rather park here than on Downey St, especially when people are crossing to get to the clubs and what not. Edit : Forgot to mention but this can be alternative parking for going to the restaurants across Firestone. I mean, who really wants to park their car so close to other cars that you have to safely get in and out of it without hitting them. Nuh uh, I'd rather park here and walk a few mins over instead. But that's just me.
