When we purchased our home with vintage sliding door from the 1950s, the one thing that stood out were the two broken vintage / lucite handles to the patio. Both handles were broken, missing pieces and it seemed that the only option to find a replacement handle set was to wander junkyards looking for a needle in the haystack. My husband and I tried fixing our glass sliding doors ourselves but to no avail - and we're usually pretty successful with our DIYs! But our oversized glass doors just wouldn't come out of the tracks and we didn't want to potentially cause more damage. In comes Terry and Tracy - coming in on their Memorial Weekend Monday no less to come fix our doors! They were communicative throughout the process and were so determined to get our doors right. First door was a pain in the butt to get out, but they did it! Upon closer inspection they suggested that we replace the bottom rail for a small additional fee. It was not a sales pitch at all and completely our call. When I tested the first door after the rail had been replaced and said something didn't quite feel right at the upper flange - Tracy went right up to adjust until the door slide like it was on butter. They asked for permission to bring their elderly dog Luke on site. He was unbothered by my rowdy curious dog and just wanted to left in peace. Overall - wonderful service. Communicative.
