When we purchased our home with vintage sliding door from the 1950s, the one thing that stood out were the two broken vintage / lucite handles to the patio. Both handles were broken, missing pieces and it seemed that the only option to find a replacement handle set was to wander junkyards looking for a needle in the haystack.
