After several attempts, and being told they would callback ( for three weeks) I've finally had it. after being told by Milgard windows to contact the installer (Simi Valley Glass) to fix a leaky window I have been stone walled. someone came out, did a poor inspection , and on the work order it had contractor already written, pre judging the issue. on my original call I was told by whoever I was talking to at Simi Glass that Milgard had kicked them to the curb years ago, so that gets me to believe that they have no interest and doing this job, I have called five times, and had only one responce. They are window installers, I dont care who kicked you to the curb, its what you do, you are a window contractor, I told you that I'm not asking for a free ride, just fix my window , Ill pay. Id like to thank you for nothing. read more

Called and given a estimate on the phone to replace a single pane cracked window. Made several calls over the next month to get a measure done. Told every time I'd get a call right back. NEVER happened!! I gave up and they finally called. A month for a measure??? Can't imagine how long the install would've taken. Found another company that did measure and install in less than 2 weeks. I guess Simi Valley Glass is too busy to deal with small jobs. read more

Decided to have company install frameless glass shower in my primary bathroom due to high online reviews. During installation, installers cracked/ broke my large format shower tile (near the door bracket) without ever informing me of the issue. Installers then attempted to put grout on the damage in an attempt to cover up the damage. Very unprofessional from a consumer perspective. Noticed the damage later after installers left. Would not recommend for glass installations. It appears this company lacks the technical knowledge and/or expertise in properly installing frameless glass shower enclosures. Look elsewhere. read more

A sliding window broke at my mom's house and they couldn't get someone to come look at it immediately but said I could bring it in. It was ready in less than 48 hours and a lot less than an estimate I got from another company. The women in the office were very nice and helpful. Would recommend. I was recommended to come to Simi Valley glass and I'm so happy someone pointed me in their direction. They custom made the most perfect glass tops for my dressers with beveled edges that really made a nice touch. This company installed mirrors in our home gym a few years ago. We were very happy with the service they provided. They did an excellent job. Everything was done neatly and precisely as we requested. We recently had to call them to replace one of the mirror pieces that was accidentally broken. There was a bit of a delay in getting an estimate, but the guys came out today and did a great job removing the broken mirror and installing the new one. Awful customer service we try to keep our business in town but not with this company. We called to get an estimate and they scheduled an appointment the day after a holiday at 9am. As the girl stated that would be the best time especially after a holiday. So I took a day off of work and guess what they were a no show not even a phone call to cancel, reschedule or apologize. my decorator used this company when i completely overhauled my new home. they seemed to do a fine job on two glass shower doors and a full length mirror. delivery and installation fine. now, here we are 1.5 years later. i called them as the rubber strip under one of the shower doors is pulling off and i also wanted to add an additional full length mirror. i didn't ask for or expect anything free. an appointment was made for them to measure for the mirror and "check" the shower strip. i cancelled my work for the day, they were expected at 11. at 9 i got a call canceling with the excuse "they are not in my area today." i was promised a return call to set up another date when someone WAS in my area. that was 2 weeks ago, no call. if they didn't want to come to me they should of told me in the first place. plenty of other places out there happy to get my business and not get a one star review! read more
