The Lobster Haul - Front is the lobster sliders and in back, the jumbo lobster mayonnaise roll. The latter had a good pound of lobster!

As a born and raised Mainah I must say I was impressed with this spot. Found in Damariscotta…read moreslightly off the main road of downtown but you may find some signage advertising on them on Main Street. I suggest you follow the signage to visit here. They have a few parking spots and some street parking available nearby too. It's a spot that you order at the counter and get a number and can enjoy either an indoor or outdoor table and wait for the food to be delivered. We enjoyed a table outside in a perfect shaded area on a beautiful day. Inside was a perfect rustic and homey vibe with some live music during our visit. Both inside and out were popular choices and we had a little line before ordering but minimal wait. Food wise my I got a lobster cilantro and lime lobster roll, while my wife got a Lemon Dill Lobster roll (both currently $30 market price). We split a large basket of fries and could not pass up splitting a current special of Homemade Blueberry Bread Pudding with Lemon Glaze. We know we made good choices when the worker taking our order was telling use we made the perfect choice of our food spread. The lobster rolls were tasty and included a good amount of lobster to them! Fries were crispy and only could have used a touch more salt and finally the bread pudding was amazing and the perfect bite to finish our meal! What a fantastic spot worth seeking out! I know even as Maine locals my wife and I would seek this spot out again. A must try if you are in the area.

The roll was fresh and delicious, the huge chunks of lobster were fresh and tasty. I got the butter option and it wasn't too heavy on butter at all. The side of cole slaw was great too. Really wonderful flavor and not too much mayo. Light and right! Blueberry bread pudding was delicious too. I wish the blueberries were integrated more and not just on top, but I would still order it again, it was so good. Friendly staff too! Parking right outside, indoor and outdoor seating, restroom inside and they take cash or credit cards.

You can stop by for oysters with out the tour and they have a local food truck. As far as the tour, about an hour with 2 different oyster tasting at the end. Learning how to shuck an oyster makes you thankful! Highly recommend this local gem!

Great place to get oysters. You can find Glidden Point all over the area but this is where they…read morecome from. They also have other oysters from nearby farms. Oysters are $2.25 each or $25 / dozen but they come unshucked. They give you a knife and a demonstration. You can pay another dollar per oyster to have them do it for you. They have happy hour from 4:00 - 6:30 on Friday and Saturday. Oysters are $2.00 shucked for you and you hand pick them out of the boat. Plan on waiting in line though. Here is where the issues are at Glidden Point. They only have one line to order anything oysters, beer, and wine. My advice to the business. Learn how to fix this. People standing in line aren't spending any money. I have left here multiple times after our first drink simply because I didn't want to wait in line 20 minutes for the next. Open more places to order oysters and drinks and you will maximize your revenue. Warning there are also a lot of people that bring kids here. They run around and they are annoying. Turns out kids dont like sitting on picnic benches and eating oysters. If you are considering bringing your kids here, please don't.
